Dr. Musa and her team are compassionate and friendly. The BEST honestly. I’ve seen many vets over the years and I would hands down recommend them.We are new to the area and have/had 2 senior mini schnauzers. Our girl Pixie was diabetic and nearing her time here on earth. Dr. Musa took the time at our new patient eval to sit on the floor with me and my dogs give them love, check them out, and explain the signs of things I should be looking for to make that call.Fast forward a few weeks ago, we decided it was time. The staff was super caring and kind during such a difficult appointment. We got all the time we needed with her. Dr. Musa sat on the floor with me again and loved on Pix during her last moments. I’m so grateful for them during that difficult time. When it was time to pick up Pixie’s ashes, they included a sympathy card personally signed.

Updated Review:I wanted to provide an update on my recent experience with this veterinarian clinic, as my initial review highlighted some concerns about pricing and transparency. After my dog's spay surgery, I had some post-operative concerns and decided to contact the clinic again.I expressed my worries to them and was informed that there would be a $35.00 charge for a revisit. Despite this, I decided to proceed, hoping to get reassurance about my dog's behavior, as she wasn't eating. When I arrived at the clinic, the vet examined my coneheaded furry friend and, to my relief, assured me that everything was okay. What pleasantly surprised me was that the vet waived the revisit fee.This experience showcased a significant improvement in my perception of the clinic. It demonstrated their commitment to the well-being of the animals they treat, showing that they prioritize the care of pets over financial gains. This gesture of waving the fee made me feel that the vet genuinely cared about my dog's health and my peace of mind.In light of this, I would like to commend the clinic for their compassionate approach and willingness to address my concerns. While my initial visit had pricing issues that left me feeling unsatisfied, the way they handled my post-operative concerns has restored my confidence in their commitment to their patients and their owners.In conclusion, my updated experience with this veterinarian clinic has been positive, particularly in terms of their dedication to the well-being of pets. I still believe that pricing transparency is crucial, and it's an area where they can further improve. Nonetheless, the care and consideration shown during my dog's post-op visit have left me feeling much more satisfied with their services.

If you're looking for an amazing, patient, educated AND thoughtful vet then Dr. Weitz will be your best bet.I came into his clinic this past week after my foster pup fell ill. I'm new to the area and immediately took her to the closest vet with good reviews.Understandably I was worried, Jessie is my first dog but Dr. Weitz and their team kept me educated and updated on her health both quickly and with great thought.I have other pets that I've taken to the vet, but this has been the most empathetic and thoughtful experience I've had to date. Dr. Weitz and his team truly put the needs of the animals they see first before anything else. Thank you to Dr. Weitz and staff for being a good neighbor to a new dog mom in the Fountain Valley community :)

This is more of a clinic in the hospital!Good customer service does not equal quality health care in my opinion.They can’t even provide syringes that won’t break in one day. If that’s not enough…I came in telling staff that my cat has a growth in her nose.Staff were playing it too safe and waited on the doctor. She just ignored what I had to say and insisted on going through with medicating her. $800On the next visit we had to get her nose cleaned so the doctor can figure out what the problem was… for around $700.All so they can tell me that they don’t have the equipment to remove the polyps in her nose.No quality of life consultation! They didn’t refer me to anyone else. They just took the $1,500 and could care less what happens to my cat…I’m really disappointed in this location. I was under the impression that this was on par with VCA.My suggestion… bite the bullet and take your little ones to a VCA.Please value your little ones and spend that money on quality healthcare.

Horrible service and clueless vet.I took in my 4 month old kitten for nasal congestion and discharge, she straight up refused to give him medication because according to her he is active and will not need meds. And she vaccinated my kitten while he was still congested.This vet is clueless of what she's doing. I forwarded her reports of what tests my kitten had already had and yet she was trying to do the same tests again and run me a bill of 700 plus dollars. Do not take your pets here !

Very compassionate and caring vet. We take our dogs here and recently had to to put one down. The vet gave us all the time we needed and explained the process very clearly. Definitely recommend for your pet care.

Dr. Weitz uses reason first to decide a plan of treatment because he has so much more experience than other doctors. He then explains the rationale behind the test or treatment. He doesn't just order x rays and ultrasounds especially if a pet is too weak or old for invasive surgery. He communicates a common sense plan of treatment and then checks to see how the pet is responding. I trust that he thinks of the quality of life for the pet, versus the dollar amounts that the pet's illness will return to him.

Hi Dr. Weitz, i just wanted you to know my dog did have a paw infection. The new Vet is treating her and she is doing better. I remember when i told you to check her paws and give her amoxicillin for her antibiotics and you was against that. This vet did exactly that along with fungus pads to clean her paws. I spent over 3000.00 with you with no results. i liked you and the staff but my dog was diagnosed wrong .I just wanted you to know and you wanted me to spend 700.00 more for a ultrasound. I feel that i spent money on Medicine she did not need, xrays she did not need and all the blood work she did not need. I know you are retired now but i hope you read this.

Dr Weitz was my dogs vet since we moved to California in 2018. He and his staff have provided excellent care. It will be hard to find a new vet as we celebrate all the years Dr. Weitz has dedicated to his profession as he transitions into retirement. Thank you MSAH.

We lived in CA my entire life of 48 years...many pets, many vets...This review is a long time in coming...Doc here, staff, services, pricing, emergencies, etc...too notch...We had a cat and dog both handled here for over 7 years until we left CA...It did feel like saying goodbye to family...bitter sweet. I did mention leaving CA, ya? That's the sweet...lol....wish you all the best guys. Thank you for making us feel like family.
