I have known Naomi for 8 years now and she has been the only one to cut my maltipoos hair since I got him 7 years ago. I have followed her through her journey of working through different salons and now finally opening up her own place. I have taken my dog to other groomers when she was not available but I never liked how they cut his hair. I drive 30 minutes from home just to go to her salon. Naomi really takes every dog's unique feature and makes it stand out. My dog is a very annoying barker but Naomi is so patient and gentle with him. I recently got a Husky that is 2 years old now that hates baths. He shakes like crazy to get all the water off during the bath that he gives Naomi a bath as well and I feel embarrassed but she does such a great job with him and she does not mind at all. His coat always comes out perfectly white and fluffed. I am forever a loyal customer. Naomi has a strong love for animals and has the patience to help a dog feel more comfortable.

Absolutely fabulous groomers. From a bath to a full groom haircut they do an amazing job. Reasonable rates and super friendly staff. I take both of my large breed dogs here. One long haired, older arthritic girl who requires some extra attention and one short haired giant puppy with all the wiggles. They treat both of them well and the girls always look so nice!

My 23 week old standard poodle, Sterling, and I had the great honor of being Naomi's first customer. I would give her 20 stars if I could.It was Sterling's first professional grooming. That said, I have had standard poodles since 1965 and have become "very selective" about groomers for my dogs.Naomi listened to everything I want and Sterling looks SPECTACULAR!!!!I couldn't be more pleased and have recommended Tailored Tails Grooming to my friends.

We’ve brought our pup here a few times now and always have a great experience! Our Coco comes back looking (and more importantly smelling) beautiful every time. The team here clearly loves dogs and their work shows it. Happy our pup is young and has lots of future spa days ahead of her here.

Our first experience with Tailored Tails was great.We have a 4-yr old rescue dog (Jindo Terrier mix), who is very anxious, especially around strangers and other dogs, so we were worried about how he would do. Tailored Tails got him in and out in just over 1 hour (we asked for a full bath, nails/paw pad trim, sanitary trimming, ear cleaning, teeth brushing...no formal haircutting).Their facilities are bright and look very tidy/clean, plus it's nice to see the dogs being groomed up at the front when you walk in.Also, from what they said about the appointment: after calming down, our dog was fairly cooperative! We'll be back for sure.

I've been going to Naomi since my little guy was a puppy, and she has done an amazing job every single time. I am very excited that she just opened up her own salon right here in Foster City! Her grooming skill is extremely versatile and produces haircuts that customers would be very happy about regardless of the request. This time I asked for a sporty look ready for the mountains, and also easy to maintain. And voila, a smooth and agile hound ready for action!

A friend recommended TTG for my 7 month old shih-tzu's first grooming. Several weeks prior I had attempted to trim the fur over his eyes and left him looking embarrassing as he refused to sit still. I wasn't expecting that much could be done in one "sitting", but to my bewilderment, Naomi did an AMAZING job. "He was such a good boy!" she said, remarking on how calm he was. (Was she actually talking about Cody?) She clearly had the touch to make him feel comfortable in order for him to sit still for her to do such fine work. What's more, the price was so reasonable compared to anything in the city where our other dogs would look half as good. I am just sad that now that I have found a great groomer that I am moving! Figures.Anyway, I'd give her 6 stars if I could. I doubt you will find anyone on the peninsula who does this good of a job while keeping your dog calm and happy.

Decided to give it a try since tailored tails is much closer to my house than my usual groomer. Naomi did a great job with my long haired shiba and I loved how clean the space is. Definitely will be my new go to spot for grooming!

Naomi did an excellent job grooming my 3 year old Bernese Mountain Dog Hazel! She was very responsive to my initial inquiry about an appointment and was able to accommodate her appointment quickly. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning! :)

Came in for a first time groom for my stinky 2 year old jindo/husky mix and loved the results! She smelled so good and looked so fluffy and white, and her nails were done perfectly too! I didn’t know shaving the paw pad fur was a thing but it makes cleaning her paws so much easier and she slips less on hardwood. Planning on coming back for all of my dog’s future groomings!

I'm so glad I came across Tailored Tails! My maltipoo was in desperate need of a cut and they did such a great job on him! Everyone was so friendly and the store was clean. They also had a cute setup for pictures. Will definitely come back next month!

Tailor is amazing! Her work with our doodle mixed dog was so gorgeous. Often times groomers will just want to shave him down. But Tailor gave him a wonderful groom. And chewie was as happy as a pup can be!

My English setter is not the easiest at the groomer. He gets restless, doesn’t like his paws touched and until I found this groomer almost always came home with partially incomplete haircut. The Tailored Tails team must be dog whisperers. They gave him back to me in half the time my previous groomers took and his cut was absolutely perfect all around, paws and belly and underarms. Just perfect. And because they were so fast, he wasn’t worked up at all when I got him. I highly recommend the Tailored Tails groomer. I am definitely going back.

This was our 2nd visit to Tailored Tails today. We love Naomi and Max, our doggie, loves her too. Max is a bigger dog (Yellow Lab/Golden Retriever mix, approx. 72 lbs.) and Naomi is so good with him. Both times he has looked amazing, feels so soft and smells amazingly good. I also appreciate the reasonable prices for a VIP level Bath experience. Naomi is so helpful and accommodating and has helped Max overcome a bit of his anxiety with being at the groomer. We love Tailored Tails!

I love that there is a new dog grooming place just around the corner from my house. It makes it very convenient to drop off. Had an appointment for a small dog bath with scissor cut. The owner, Naomi was very nice and very personable. Dropped off my dog and came back 1.5 hours later to a nicely groomed and wonderfully smelling pup. I would recommend Tailored Tales. Naomi did a great job with my Husky. She made sure to cut her nails as short as possible (as I requested) and she looked and smelt great! They do not use cage dryers, so you can rest assured your dog will be hand blowdried and get individual attention. Naomi will call you before she’s done, so you can head over before your dog gets kenneled.My Husky was very calm and happy when I got there and I could tell she wasn’t stressed. Very convenient location and parking is free and plentiful.I will be coming back! Thank you, Naomi!

Took my 2.5 year old golden, Bodie, there today for his first grooming with Naomi and it was wonderful experience. The place is clean, Naomi was incredibly kind and welcoming, and most importantly she was great with Bodie (he doesn't love when I leave him). I highly recommend Tailored Tails. Bodie came home looking and smelling amazing. His coat was shiny and looked healthier than it has after other grooming. It's not easy to find someone you trust with your fur baby, so I'm glad this place and love that it's so close to home. I already booked my next appointment.

I love the extra attention she takes around her face, and this location is also easy to get to and parking is super easy. Naomi is the very best that you can find!! and when it comes to grooming your pet. I have had a lot of groomers, but Naomi stands alone. She cares about cleanliness, cares about your pet and grooms them with care, kindness, and grooming precession.... Take it from me, both my dogs ended up with skin infections from another place in san mateo county, RUN DON'T WALK WITH YOUR PET AND KNOW THAT YOUR PET WILL GET THE BEST CARE AND GROOMING POSSIBLE
