This was my first time coming to oh my dog! It was highly recommended on the Pomeranians of the bay area group. So happy I brought my princess here. She came out exactly how I want her cut! I asked for fox cut! They take excellent care of her! She smelled good and had bows! Her nails were cut perfectly! She came out relaxed and beautiful! I have tried other places but this is it! I made my next appointment since they book up fast! Yes this place is popular and I know why! THEY ARE THE BEST! Loyal new customer! :) very happy

Best grooming in the Peninsula area. We've tried several, but always come back to OhMyDog because our dog looks the best and is the least scared here. They're very communicative and take excellent notes to keep consistent grooming on repeat visits.They're on the higher end for price, but it's worth it.

Have my dog taking bath here for a couple years (her hair doesn’t grow so she never needs grooming haha) She always come out clean and happy. I’ll usually take her to the bay trail before the appointment. That was a lot of fun.

My daughters dog Chapo isn't easy to say the least , However Carlos deals with him beautifully. Carlos is always supper friendly and willing to groom this difficult dog . Chapo actually doesn't mind as much being groomed ,thanks to their excellent way with him. Always a great result also. Can't recommend them enough!!!

I was excited to go here for the first time today, recommended by a friend. Very unfriendly walking in as a first time customer. Not one smile. I was told the person scheduled to bathe my dog was on break. Confused since I was on time for my appointment per my confirmation email. Was then told it is just a drop off time and I have to leave my dog there for 2 to 3 hours. Fine, but that information was not included in my confirmation email. And since my dog is extra anxious and was shaking like a leaf, and the care they were providing me as a human, I did not feel comfortable leaving my dog. Super disappointed. This is now the third place I've tried and been disappointed. Can anyone recommend an actual good groomers in the San Mateo area?

My Caviler walked out of the shop and had bleeding nails, blood went on my husband’s pants when he jumped up. OhMyDog did not even notice that before sending my dog out. The grooming was so so… maybe they have changed the employees… the service is really not as good as before. Will not return anymore.

While on vacation we found this place for our dog nails trim. The girls were nice and professional. My dog is never a fan when it’s not his usual person doing his nail trim so he was a bit dramatic. Both employees stayed friendly and comforting to him. I appreciate that.

We booked our grooming session 2.5 months earlier in November 2021, but they canceled our appointment less than 24 hours before. They had known a week earlier that there was no longer any availability. When we attempted to reschedule, the earliest time was 1-2 weeks later. I wouldn't recommend bringing your dog here.TL; DR: They are decent dog groomers, but I'd highly recommend double-checking your appointment a week earlier and making contingency plans with another place.

Oh my Dog grooming has been a blessing in our household. Since they opened, we have only come here and there have never been any issues. Bootsy, my dog, is not people-friendly, but he does fine at Oh My Dog. I have had other groomers refuse him within 5 mins of meeting him. Some dogs need more patience and understanding; Bootsy gets that here at Oh My Dog. Carlos is a fantastic dog person, and all the other groomers are very understanding to Bootsy, so it makes me as an owner comfortable. They are a group of wonderful dog people and I hope they never close.They are usually booked out a week or two in advance, so it's best to plan ahead and use their website's ONLINE Booking option.

We followed Veronica from PetSmart to Oh My Dog! when they first opened. She always gives our pup a wonderful cut and does so with care and love. Our girl is a senior now and is difficult to handle, but Veronica understands her triggers and does what she can to keep her comfortable and calm. The only bad part about this place is the location. It is deep in Foster City, so unless you are close by I suggest not booking around rush hour. Also, Veronica is popular, so I recommend booking your next appointment as soon as possible.

Great service and a great value for my two dogs! They are very responsive and receptive to the needs of my dogs. Will be going here for a long time! Melisa did great with my handful of a German Shepard mix that I can’t even get into a bathtub myself! Thanks so much Melisa :)

I have been taking my Chow Chow Soshi to see Carlos for about 1.5 years! He’s fantastic and Soshi always looks like a Queen! Carlos knows how to deal with difficult dogs and he never muzzles where she was before!! You just have to be sure to make your appointments in advance:)

I have previously taken my basset hound puppy to OhMyDog to be bathed and have her nails trimmed. It is expensive but I wanted to support local business.I recently rescued a 13 pound dog who needed a haircut. I expected to be charged the " small dog" price. I was charged for a medium dog and told that only dogs under 6 pounds are charged as "small". All dogs over 15 pounds would be considered "large" and charged accordingly. Long story short, I was charged $75 for a 13 pound dog haircut. I will not be returning.

This is the first time for my puppy to do grooming. My puppy was refused by Petco grooming because of mass. But OhmyDog accepted her without any hesitation. My puppy came out so beautiful that over my imagination! Highly recommend!

Do not trust the groomers here. You can never shave a double coated dog. This should be very basic for any groomer!
