Imagine going to school to become a pharmacist and end up being incompetent…… including the workers & pharmacy “technicians” because they seem to hate everyone that comes up to the window for their prescription. Huge lines that don’t get acknowledged until they want to acknowledge you. I got a text message saying my prescription is ready for pickup but when I got there they said it needs 20 minutes, I got upset because I had waited in line already for a long time while this young Asian girl ignored everyone until she finished stacking some paper lol.

The worst experience ever. They don’t know how to do their work right.I was there to pick up my prescription and D, Choi said my insurance is no longer active even though I assured him it is. I called my insurance and they said it is active. After long time, they found out that CVS has the wrong label on my medicine.After all this wait, I was told that only one of my prescription is ready and not the second one. So I also need to wait more.After the wait Jenny came to tell me that the second medicine is actually over the counter and it’s not covered by my insurance.So basically, the first medicine was ready long time ago, they had the label issue which I had to wait for it to be fixed. Then after it was fixed they asked me to wait more for a medicine that is over the counter.They didn’t apologize about it, they were so rude and they asking me if I have any questions instead of apologizing, and they said their manager is not there, maybe that’s why?If they just apologized instead of being rude like they did nothing wrong, I would’ve smiled, said it’s ok it happens, and walked away.What a terrible experience. I will definitely call the corporate to file a complaint.Avoid this pharmacy with all cost.

Went in to grab my daughter's prescription that was sent over from San Mateo medical center Waited in line, just so they can tell me they do not have it to come back in 3 or 4 days. And here's a number to another CV s and I cannot get it over-the-counter and there was nothing else that could replace it over-the-counter so I went and called another c. V. S on Delaware, like I was told to do and the Delaware pharmacy. And staff are telling us that Foster City. Cvs was wrong.We in fact do not need a prescription for this and it is over the counter And there was no need for the doctor to prescribe us something that was over the counter. As I tried to tell CV S status, they hung up on me 2 times and will not answer the calls.Now my husband has to go over there and make a complaintterrible service c.V.S foster city please get your facts straight. And don't tell us that we can't get something from your store.That is clearly on the shelves.You tried to send us away 4 more days without helping my daughter and her condition

I have experienced how bad the pharmacy of the store was when I tried to pick up the described medicine for my son and covid tests for my family. The guy who wore a white blouse (maybe a pharmacist) was taking my information, was very unprofessional. He was yelling at his colleagues, and rudely acting like he did not have time for me!!!Also, my son’s medicine was not even ready even though I was waiting at the store for a while. They did not bother to call my phone number to let me know that they ran out of it. When I came back to check, they said I had to come back another day or go to CVS at Target if I want it. Why are you wasting people's time, CVS’s pharmacy?The restroom here is horrible. They have only ONE restroom with 2 stalls for both men and women, including kids (girls and boys). What????? My daughter wanted to use the restroom and I was glad that I took her to find out that this restroom is not safe. There was already a man who was there and using another stall when we got in. Why don't they have 2 separate restrooms for men and women? There are a lot of “mentally sick” people in the world and I don't feel safe letting my daughters or even me to use the same restroom with men.

Today I went to this stupid CVS to get photo passport, I called first to get sure they afford this service , it was the most horrible experience ever , the little Asian guy ( has no badge on his T-Shirt so no name) is absolutely rude , I asked him to see the photo before printing it out , he told me that he will show me the pic first on computer but he did not , he printed out the pics and when I asked him why you did not show me the pics he start barking like a crazy dog saying “ get out of here or take the photos” I addressed the speech to other elderly Asian ( he has no badge on his Uniform so no name) who works at cashier but he started waving his hand like a clown asking me to stop talking , is this stupid CVS owned by those rude !!! Hell no , switch to Walgreens

The pharmacy here told me my prescription was ready so I went to pickup, in the store I was told it was not found asked me to come later. They talked to me like they had not make any mistake without even apology. A girl even told me I waited too long to pick up, but I actually went to pick up the next day they said it was ready, which was 2 days after my doc sent them the prescription - they lie to cover their mistake and try to switch responsibility to their customer. The following day I received a text notification saying it was ready to pick up, so I drove there again, AGAIN I was told they could not find my prescription. This was on 12/4/2022 morning, today. And they told me I should come the next day the THIRD time, without any apology either, just kept telling me they could not find it on their shelf, but why they notified me via text saying it was ready for pickup? And the attitude of their pharmacist was like they didn’t care what and how many mistake they made and how frustrating I felt from visiting their store twice in vain. I chose to transfer my prescription to another CVS, never will go to this CVS again, super unprofessional nor respectful - this is the reason I am wasting my time writing this review - to let people know, don’t waste your time and gas here.

This is an experience the store manager should see, concerning what kind of training has been lacking, and how your staff have responded to this kind of situation. Back on Oct.4th. I went to purchase ONE item. Three staff were at the cashier helping guests to pay, and there were approx. 4-5 guest then. I chose to use the self-check-out machine, and only to find out I paid for six items instead of one. Apparently some guest before me either decided to pay at a different registry or on the worst case senario, just dashed without paying. I hence stayed there without moving about, waving to the staff asking for help and pushed the help button. Yes, that has been carless of me, and I'd admit that. A staff with name tag 'Many' came over, after hearing what I said, he told me he couldn't help, and as I explained again, he told me to 'come back tomorrow morning'. I asked him what would be different the next morning, and he didn't have an answer, apparently trying to get rid of me. As hewent back to the register without solving the issue, and dropped a line to me 'Where are the other five items?' which insulted me greatly, as if I had stolen those five items. I therefore said 'How about just check your videos and see if I had taken them?' The other two staff heard it, and agreed to help me instead. Mind you I was carrying a very small purse, apparently not big enough to 'hide' any stolen merchandise. The staff waited till most of other guests are gone, and began to help me refunding the other five items I apparently haven't taken. They have 'Isaias' and 'Tess' name tags on them, friendly, professional and helpful. The staff 'Many' probably didn't know how to deal with this kind of situation, but asking me to 'come back tomorrow morning' was misinforming clients, plus calling me a thief was rather insulting, unprofessional, and could trigger legal issues. A store manager should make sure all staff are trained how to deal with with special circumstances, and at least, ask for help when not sure what to do, instead of misinforming and insulting clients. Very bad experience indeed.

I love this store!! They carry a little bit of everything. I love that I can find clean products that don’t contain all of the chemicals I try to avoid. I love that I can grab a card for a friend, vitamins, meds and a notebook for work. The store is newly renovated and clean and bright.When I arrived today, to my surprise, I saw an acquaintance from years ago working at CVS, Casey!! I was so happy to see him. As per usual, he took me around the store and helped me find all of the products I need to help give my complexion a reboot. I can’t wait to start my new skin regimen. Thank you, Casey!! Ladies, go introduce yourself to Casey!! You won’t regret it!!

If you can, send your prescriptions somewhere else. There are always problems with this particular CVS. They either don’t receive prescriptions for some reason, don’t have prescribed medications available suggesting to either transfer the order to another pharmacy or to wait unknown amount of days when they get it, don’t have/miss insurance on file..,Nobody among staff can provide sensible answers and at least to try to come up with a solution to a problem demonstrating careless attitude.I have been always using CVS for my prescriptions at different locations but extremely disappointed with this one.

My doctor gave me a written prescription to pick up at this pharmacy (which has always been my pharmacy of choice due to proximity), the pharmacists are seemingly incompetent. The pharmacist on duty, RUBY DAO, was extremely rude from the get go and repeatedly told me, “IT’S A NEW CALIFORNIA LAW THAT WE CANNOT TAKE WRITTEN PRESCRIPTIONS” which i had never heard of and has been fine for others i know recently. I called my doctor and she said that she is incorrect and this only applies to controlled substances. I informed RUBY DAO and she continued to be extremely rude and kept raising her voice saying “IT’S CALIFORNIA LAW”. My doctor called the pharmacy and they ignored her call. She wasted 40 minutes of my time. I just went to walgreens and they filled the prescription for me kindly, with no problem. I will be reporting Ruby Dao to the board of Pharmacy. Steer clear of her and this pharmacy.

Casey at CVS gave me just the makeover I needed! I came looking for some new foundation but also got a lesson on application technique and the importance of hydration in skin care. Casey was beyond helpful—super knowledgeable and approachable (not pushy). I ended up getting other makeup (lip color, blush)…and compliments from other customers shopping in the beauty department. Thanks Casey!!!

The people working the pharmacy were rocking it today. It was really crowded and patients were line jumping and queuing at the wrong window, but the people never lost their cool. They gave excellent friendly service amidst the chaos. Thank you CVS Pharmacy!!!!!

CVS minute clinic is convenient for the DOT Commercial License physical. The whole process is very seemless and organized. It's as easy as registering, waiting, and paying. The wait time was not bad and the staff including doctors are super friendly. The parking is great and the scenery near the water is so tranquil. I recommend a visit.

I took a defective item in for return. The receipt said I have until 12/26 to do the return. Meera very rudely refused the return and then I asked for a manager and she huffed off to the manager and convinced her to refuse the return too. Meera came back said the manager said no.I asked the next cashier when he was available and show him where it says the return policy says at 12/26 on the receipt and he went and showed the receipt to the manager and they approved the return.It was an absolutely horrible experience where Meera treated me poorly right in front of my three-year-old son. My son even recognized that she was being rude and in the car he said she was being not nice. This is coming from a three-year-old going on 4.Also when I went to the second cashier Meera stood next to me with her voice raised at the other cashier and saying I'm not going to do it you can do it but I'm not going to do it extremely rudely.The manager came out to talk to me and she just wanted to take responsibility because she told her not to do the refund, I asked her if she told Meera to be so rude and she said she did not.

Rude and careless cashier. There was promotion for nutrient selection, limited to CVS membership owner. To get the discount I decided to apply for the membership. He asked me to write down name and email address, I misheard as mail address. While I was writing down the mail address, he rudely grabbed paper and wrote “EMAIL_______” and handed it back to me with an upset face. This just ruins a wonderful day of mine after Thanks giving.

It’s highly important to menton my thanks to Cassy from beauty department in my first visit to CVS foster city store . I just moved here from Japan and want to find some moisture products for face esp in dry CA area. I’m so much appreciated to meet Cassy here. He gave me so much professional advise for skincare And also showed me some for test including face wash. Serum booster and moisture skin lotion. I’m so much inspired by his passion. Professional and his enthusiastic in his position. A definitely a MUST visit again in foster city ! 🌹 plus. Cassy is smarty. He speak some Japanese. So cute ! !

I probably shop at CVS for over a decade several times a week and never had any complaints but this CVS in foster city was a nightmare. I work in customer service as well, I know it can get stressful but I was so poorly treated like never before ! How can they put someone at the cash register on his first day all by himself !? All my transactions were messed up - ecb's weren't correctly deducted. Received a attitude like I don't know what I'm talking about ! Missing receipts from transactions. Main manager was decent but mentioned he is new as well and doesn't know much yet how everything works. Lisa I believe she mumbled her name was the absolute worst of all. Her attitude was over the top and she treated me like I'm an idiot and need to leave the store. I will call corporate tomorrow - since my refund was messed up as well and I don't have the receipt ! They need to get them proper training and teach them some basics on customer service ! I definitely won't go back to this locations ...

Highly suggested you avoid the Pharmacy here for flu shot.I got appointments at 11:45, arrived 5mins ahead. Then told me Waite for 15 mins for call of my name. Asked me had to Waite nearby waiting area inside. Waited for 45 mins so far. Still waiting. They won’t call me when they are ready. So many people come and go in here, since the waiting area is indoor, now I am really concerning I might get COVID for this long risky Pharmacy visit.The minute clinic in same location is far more better the Pharmacy.If you want a flu shot, avoid the Pharmacy.Updates:Took me 80 minutes for a 10 seconds flu shot.Usually I won’t mind waiting, during pandemic, this is unacceptable.PS: my case was a bad luck one. By the time I realized I had to stay for long it was already 45mins waiting time. So I stayed for longer to avoid another visit for flu shot.Most of visited should be within 30mins with appointment set ahead. I do see there are some serious management issues there. A flu shot took less then 1 mins + 10 mins most paperwork. They are not take pandemic seriously in this location. Otherwise they should care about waiting time on-site and make some improvement to reduce it. Apparently they are not.

Lots of misinformation on their phone system. Called the local number goes to an automatic system says there is walk in vaccination. When you try to speak with a human they send you to some barely intelligible operator somewhere that has no clue where you're calling from and where the store is. Consistently inconsistent. Cashiers are hit and miss. If you call the pharmacy to ask a question, they will punt you around like a football and you will waste your time on hold. If there was any other pharmacy close to me, i would never step a foot in this store. I feel bad writing this comment because there are a few great people working there but the majority are not good.
