Today, I enjoyed the Best pastrami sandwich I’ve had since Canter’s in LA!!Perfect and huge!! For $10! Ray’s reminds me of Gelson’s in SoCal. You feel special shopping in this market! Yes, the prices are higher, but you do pay for quality. Ray’s is a superior market and very clean.Also, Ray’s is employee owned! Very friendly folks here and great service. Came in on a Monday and my card wouldn't work. Despite the long line I created everyone remained in positive spirits. Eventually my other debit card worked, but the incredible kindness and service speaks loudly about the employees here. I even got help to my truck since they allowed me to bring in my expensive road bike. I didn't even have to even ask for the extra assistance, they were glad to help. All I can say is management here is blessed to have such hard working and positive staff, even on a Monday!

Friendly staff. Had lunch here with my son. We ordered 2 chicken strips, 2 sides of macaroni and cheese, and a side of cheese stuffed tater tots. The tator tots were really good. We got bbq and fry sauce for dipping. It was a overall good experience.

Our family would like to acknowledge and thank ‘Maria’ in the Ray’s Bakery Department for her outstanding customer service! She managed to create lovely trays of treats on very short notice. Her attention to the detail and positive attitude left a lasting impression.

I don't usually review markets, but Eric's comments were so off the mark and unfair, that I had to weigh in. Suggesting going to Safeway to avoid long lines is ridiculous! One of the reasons I go to Rays is the fact that I value my time, and can usually get in and out quickly. Also, their people are helpful and friendly, the produce is about the best in town, and the store is clean, and unlike Safeway, does not clutter their aisles with displays which "clog" the aisles.

Nice clean store, with wide isles. Ray's prices in general are higher, but they do carry many unusual, not found elsewhere items. They do offer some items at a good price if your willing to spend the time price comparising.

It just fine as super market are... I only shop at Rays when I visit my friend... That happen once or so every year... It not my regular food market and when in place you only visit only once per year they either have what you want, usually not what you use to pay, or they do not... In this case they have most of what I want...

Ray's has the highest prices in Fortune. However, they have a much more eclectic selection than the big chains like Safeway. It is worth shopping here and paying the slightly higher prices to get the items that aren't avialable elsewhere.

this is actually my favorite grocery store in fortuna.. great new management in the meat dept. , really friendly clean deli w a couple of tables.. bbq tri-tri ect. outside daily.. never long lines.. massive selections of hot sauces, fancy beers and tons of alcohol.. for some reason i really enjoy their frozen isles too - they have everything! even an area w sweatshirts, jackets, hats and stuff.. 😝 the only reason i dont give 5 stars is because there prices are on the high side but ill gladly buy my meat and gourmet items here for a couple of extra bucks. all employees are very friendly ☺

Not a good experience. Have to have a code to use the bathroom I asked an employee for it and she didn't know it I stood at customer service like forever and no one showed up. I saw a lady get so mad mad waiting to check out that she dropped her basket and left but she probably went to Safeway to save money

Old products, nothing in the store was "faced" meaning product brought to the front of the shelf. Everything was dusty and out of like 5 check stands they only had one person checking at lunchtime, noon. Long lines because of. The only good thing if they do have cheap sandwiches at the deli and they are dr. Dre's The Chronic , very well made. But they take a little while to make them. Hope this helps , just go to Safeway instead.!.!

As I stand in line waiting for a sandwich on this Saturday, the little girl behind the counter is taking 10 mins to make each sandwich. 2 other employees socializing instead of helping. This may be my last time eating here.

Rays is very over priced. Went to Dell for avsandwhich. Everyone of weman grumpy.. husband wanted wheat bread and they couldn't even walk too bread department and get for him. Not pleasant at all.

Employees are rude to customers. Specifically Maria who works in the deli and Laural who's a manager. They both treat employees horribly as well.

It's okay for quickshop a rather small store it is handicap accessible but some of the places are kind of tight for those little buggies.
