I used to come here in my early youth and would spend almost an hour looking at the fish they had. The employees there are just fantastic! Recently, I just bought a 29 gallon tank for a great deal of $94.99 plus tax, and the two guys who were working there were really awesome and took a lot of their time to give some helpful suggestions when setting up the tank and immediately putting the fish in it! I am hoping to go there soon and possibly buy some fish for my new tank!😀

Absolutely love the manager Nancy.. she is so sweet and understand. She was very helpful and even gave us stuff for free to take with our new lizard! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.. they really care about the animals and take them out and interact with them. I am so thrilled I went there instead of petco or anywhere else.

Kid and family friendly. Animal cages are clean. Animals have clean water and food container's. Staff seem sincere to helping customers to finding the right pet for them. My grandchildren are excitingly awaiting their pet.

I bought a bird for $300. I went in the store several times to see the bird. I had multiple phone conversations regarding the bird. On Thursday I paid $150 towards the $300 purchase and arranged to pick the bird up the following Monday. When I arrived I was told the price was now $500. Who does business like that? Can they even do that? I will never go into this store again and support their bad business practices.

My mom has a job in Fortuna and I have nothing to do. I walked two miles just to hang out at Fortuna pets for a couple hours and look at the pets and hold them. The staff are so nice and understanding. They just let me hangout. That's why next time I go I am going to ask if I can help with anything. There is a wide variety of animals that I have already fallen in love with. "My" cockatiel -Tiki- there is the sweetest little thing. Everyone always looks for the colorful ones but this grey one doesn't need the looks. I mean I still think he is cute. I like him better than colorful ones to be honest. If you are looking for a loving pet whether it is a reptile, mammal, fish, or bird go to Fortuna pet shoppe. Trust me it will be worth your while.-SincerelyKaylie the 12year old girl

The staff is friendly. they take constant good care of the animals that are in their shop. They could use a larger fish selection but all in all it is a good pet store.

Wow....My pets got ill and the pet shoppe owner has literally saved their lives. Everybody who works there are excellent employees who really have respect for our little animal friends, and they handle all pets with utmost care. 10/10EXCELLENT.........
