Mean Gene's, now under new ownership, is much cleaner that it used to be. It also seems to offer the same high quality meats that Gene offered, along with a good selection of other groceries. The only gripe is the non-operation of at the pump gas purchases with credit cards. Glad to see someone is keeping Mean Gene's open.

I have been shopping at Gene's for 9 years. I buy all my meat from their meat dept. the best deli meats in the county. I sure hope nothing changes with our country market and fuel stop if sold.

Usually the cheapest gas in Scott Valley. The new management has a variety of new products. Definitely worth shopping at 4 convenience instead of going to Yreka.

Pumps are terrible you can only get $50 in diesel unless you re run or go inside...just go to Chevron up the road
