Visit was on a Tuesday about 1400 hours. Went to the firearms counter. Paperwork was handled quickly and professionally. Enjoyed seeing the Tyranosaures Rex in the entrance.

I didnt have a military id cause Im o ly here for a week working. The cashier was nice enough to let me pay for my Items anyway! I baged my own grocerys because she was so nice!

This PX is good, but the firearms section it's inconsistent with the times and dates they are open. According to the posted schedule they are open starting on Tuesday, but often you go on Wednesday or Thursday and they are closed. This is an update. The firearms section still the same. Inconsistent schedule and bad customer service.

PX has improved over the years I have been here. There are always complainers but we are in a remote location and the PX provides almost everything you need. Prices are good especially since you don't pay taxes on purchases but people forget that.The remodeling did make it more open and lighting is better.

If your hours are X-6pm don’t close the gates at 5:51. That’s just wrong. You can close at 6 then close the gates then let people out. These workers are just plain lazy.

The Exchange is small, but it suits the amount of people here. The associates working at the Exchange are probably the friendliest I've met in over 20 years in the Army.

The Fort Irwin main exchange is under construction. The improvements will greatly enhance soldiers and dependent shopping experiences. The exchange is the main shopping outlet that supports the entire Fort Irwin community and training personnel. It provides all the necessary staples. It is like a Walmart on post. The PX sells gas at or below local prices. It is a "life line" as the nearest city is more than 30 miles away.

It's okay, compared to other PXs and how remote Fort Irwin is, the PX could do better by having a wider selection of items and clothes.

It's one of the smallest px you can visit. Dont expect it to have anything out of the normal wants and needs. You would think it would be way better due to its location so family's can one stop shop.

FIMPE is a great place for shopping for necessities even if you move there they can accommodate your needs from furniture to appliances to clothing items 😀 The store and staff are very organized 👍🏾💪🏾👏🏾👌🏾 5☆Easy

This little base is a hidden gem in the.military. post exchange and as a.matter of fact everything is nice and new on this base. The one draw back is its a little small thats it....

Its 50/50. Some of the workers there can be really rude and unprofessional but there are some who are really nice and go beyond what they have to do to help you find what you need.

We were visiting and didn't know that it was block leave. We stood in line waiting for the px to open for 40 mins and was never told that it was going to open late till we were leaving the doors and then the lady was rude when she told me and my kids. We were just trying to see things before we left that morning.

Great customer service interactions and positive attitudes amongst all workers. Store manager makes the store customers feel welcome. Mike and Dave back in sporting goods are great subject matter experts in gun/supply. They always have a positive attitude and recommend new handgun varieties daily. I am in the store daily.

Small, but plentiful. Prices arnt that bad especially for gear. Some are even better then Kansas, for example, here is $3 for a canteen. In Fort Riley, it's $7.

Their prices are horrible. They claim to price match but every employee gives a different excuse as to why they refuse to price match. It's like they know with the gas prices we are forced to shop here so the increase the prices and won't match anything to make more money. Really taking advantage of the community here. Won't be returning.

For an installation as busy as Fort Irwin, I expected a larger Exchange. However, it *is* about as full as its walls allow. The one thing I really needed while in the area was men's dress pants, and my choice was between Dickie's and 5.11 Tactical pants. While nice when new, they aren't quite right for church or the more formal business meetings that can sometimes pop up... Still, the store is clean and the staff helpful.

The salesman that works at the gun counter was extremely unfriendly and rude. If you don't like or want to sell guns because of your political views you should find another department to work in. Using the state of California as an excuse on a Government installation is ridiculous.

A lot of people complain because of limited stock, but it is what it is. This is a small post and outside of RTU being here, has a small community. Supply and demand is a thing, so you can't expect a huge store like larger posts. It has what you need, and I've never once dealt with a rude employee. It's a better PX than many others I've seen on small posts.

Has your essential items but sells out of everything really quickly. Especially when it comes to cleaning items such as mops brooms etc. I would recommend ordering online and picking up in store just so you are guaranteed that item

I like this place because the staff is so nice and friendly. Some items can't be purchased, or there's a long wait, due to not being in the system/on file. Drinks not well stocked during rotation.Taco Bell in the food court often messes orders up.

Military only.. this is a really good post exchange. They stick a wide variety of high quality products at a reasonable price. Credit cards are accepted. They also have a snack bar and several vendors outside of the post exchange. Very nice place to shop for just about everything

Except both male and female restrooms had no paper towels and female not all stalls had toilet paper. Shopping was great was able to find everything we needed. I asked a dyoreworker where the cooking appliances and he took us directly to the section.
