Then look no further, you've found the place to be!Maybe you just came out of the box and need a pick me up, have no fear, the PX is here! Come wait in a long line and get what your body needs! Energy drinks! This place has tan t-shirts, towels, flipflops, power banks, CamelBack, gloves, hygiene items, sodas, juices, pizza, hot pockets, pillows, snacks, slushies, baby wipes, bags of ice, beef jerky, etc. If you can think, maybe they have it?Hours of operation:When you get done with the box, they roll in 1000-0000. Normal hours: Mon-Sun 0700-2100. When you are leaving: Mon-Sun 1000-1500Either way, I give this place a four stars out of four. The long lines suck but not much you can do about it. Maybe come around closing time or during lunch time? After a while, they will run low on stock so get in line when you can!

I had gone there twice. First when we just got out of the Box. Line was long and a wait to get in, but once in pretty efficient.God Bless the Staff for leaving the store open hours past closing times. They were friendly and fast. Can’t say enough good things about the staff as they were working hard to get everyone through with much needed items and supplies.Second time was couple days later line was shorter and still friendly hard working staff going past closing time. Bless you all. 🙏🏽

Very busy, depending on the day you may wait over an hour in lines. It seems pricey, but for California things are actually reasonable priced. The staff is friendly and helpful. Get lots of whatever you need. You will run out after two weeks or you can sell it for a premium in the field.

30 min line to get in. 30 min line to check out. Once you get in they force you to carry around a blue basket with no handles so they can remember how many people are in the store. Even more annoying when you just wanna use the ATM and grab a soda.They do a so so job of keeping basic items in stock. Cough drops, check. Clear eye-pro or nail clippers, try again.If you have a Star Card or they allow you to skip all the Soldiers in line at one of the registers. Not interested. Felt morally wrong but hey, whatever floats your boat right?

It's helpful as far as a shopette is concerned. They cater to much of what you'll actually need in the box. It has an expanded selection of field items and clothing, hygiene products, as well as to snacks and drinks. Prices are a little higher but reflect partly the fact that it's California.

They have the rudest cashier ever. The lady cusses at soldiers there like they are something she scrapped off the bottom of her boot. I would expect nothing less from California or AAFES

Decent selection as far as shoppettes go, however the lines are exceedingly long. Best deal is the ice cream ; you can get a pint for three dollars whereas the food trucks will gouge you. Hard to beat the proximity to the bays, especially when you're locked down in the RUBA

Nice staff and very efficient but be prepared to wait in line. Considering that there is a couple thousand guys there at a time all shoppimg out of necessity and boredom its always full. They do extemd hours when you return from the field and they carry a little of everything. But no alchohol

The place is almost always packed. Only two cashiers. They don't have that many items it's in the middle of nowhere. Places like this is what makes me reconsider re-enlisting and guess what this will be my last time here. Other than that just expect long lines that could last up to 1 hour.

They have a little of everything you may need, small assortment of uniform items, souvenirs, camel backs, tactical items, drinks, food, and reading material. The lines can get long when there are a lot of people in the RUBA, so plan accordingly.

It has the basics and that's about it. Expect long lines and longer waits. Don't expect to get Duct tape here guys. Limited selection on most things. Well stocked on personal hygiene items and fair selection of over the counter meds. Plenty of poggy bait.

It's a hit or miss on things u want or need it is always busy with a line outside the building. Being busy all of the time they dont get to restock it during the day, So if you go later most everthing will be sold out.

Closed the doors almost an hour early in the faces of my self and my soldiers who had just gotten out of the field, after waiting over an hour and a half, who were in need of razors and hygiene. Very unprofessional saying “we need to send our employees home early” when most of the soldiers here just want to go home.

Not great customer service. Guy at register decided it was a good idea to say "next in line 4" times almost yelling the 4th time. I was the only one in line and on the phone. Generally bad attitude and no remorse for being rude.

They only pleasant thing about NTC... It is always busy and many times don't have what you need or want; but it is better than nothing.They need to stock more gallon jugs of water.

AAFES logic: Let's only supply only 26% of the things service members ACTUALLY want, have 1 cashier, never allow cash back, make them stand in 2hr lines, AND have an atm stocked with $.47! I've never had this much fun before in my life with my clothes on!

Their is a long line just to get in. And a long line to purchase items. If i wasn't limited in options i wouldn't shop there. Although people who work here are super helpful

Honestly, this is the best shoppette I've ever seen that's near your sleeping quarters at any major training sight. Plus they literally stock drinks and fat cakes for everyone daily so I don't see the problem. Way better than being in a real deployment with a little or none existing shoppette that ran out of hygiene products for more than two months in a combat zone. They practically have all your necessities here and more like military water sources and clothing. The only things I recommend stocking in the near future would be more weapon slings, velcro/pin-on ranks, misc. MOLLE pouches, underwear and other small gear for the field.Hell, I've never seen so many field-wipes stocked up besides Wally World or Sam's Club in a single small location like here. Other than this is a very good shop that has more than you need for the field and within a short walking distance compared to other training sites that literally having nothing like JRTC (Ft Polk) and Camp McGregor Training Complex (Ft Bliss).

Literally the only place to get food/supplies when you are at NTC. Nice staff but gets cleaned out of everything pretty quick before you get sent to the Box. Go as soon as u can to get what u want

During rotation 6-2100 non-rotation 9-1500, has a lot of pogfie bait, at this time all other snack trailer and burger king closed till further notice. 6 months into covid-19 and NTC has not caught up to changes. NTC call sign is "this is new to us"

Not bad for what it is, and honestly it is a good reprieve from why you are here. This place could suck your soul out even if you don't have one anymore and leave you a depressed mess but thankfully this place allows us to have some normality and not feel like this place could crush even the most badass person who has to spend time here.

Extremely long lines. To get in and to check out...so be prepared for that. No alcohol, because this is the only shoppette prior to leaving for the Box.
