I probably won't be visiting Mendo Dog again. I brought my dog in to get a nail trim and was asked if I wanted to stay or leave her at the salon. I decided to stay because I knew she would be anxious.Unfortunately, the groomer had me hold her out in the lobby while she clipped some of her nails. This was disappointing because I planned to stay in order to keep give her comfort, not to restrain her. It makes me wonder how she would've clipped my dog's nails had I decided to leave her there alone.While I restrained my dog for the groomer, she lightly clipped every other nail despite all of her nails being too long. I was stressed having to hold my dog back that I didn't keep exact count of the clips. I did notice, however, that the clips she did were very tiny. When I took my dog back to the car, I checked her nails to see how they were, and they were all still very long. Plus, a few of them weren't clipped at all.At first I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe the groomer was being cautious and didn't want to clip an outgrown nail quick but honestly, this groomer didn't spend enough time even inspecting my dog's nails to know where the quick was. Having clipped my dog's nails myself many times, I know it's important to really look at them to know where to cut. This didn't happen, she just clipped a very tiny amount off the end of some nails and called it good enough.I have nail clippers and a dremel at home, I could've done this myself had I known they would make me restrain her anyway. I paid $20 for maybe every-other nail lightly clipped and still had to ask them to please clip her dew claws. I was dismissed and was told that they are fine. When I went to the vet after they told me her nails were too long and that her dew claws were almost curling in. I let them know I had just taken her to Mendo Dog but didn't get good service.

I have been taking my Labradoodle to them for a while now and they always take care of him! He is my service dog for my disability so I am extremely picky with who grooms him/spends time with him away from me, and he ALWAYS comes back to me with a smile on his sweet little face. Can’t recommend Mendo Dog enough!!!

This little guy always comes back happy and smelling clean. My baths only make him clean for 2-3 days. When Mendo Dog baths him he stays snugglable for a whole week.

Our basset Samy was in need of a grooming and a nail trim. When my husband brought him home he was literally smiling!! He looked fabulous his coat so shiny smooth and smelled wonderfully. Ears clean and pink, nails trimmed . He knew he looked great and let everyone know. Thank you Mendo Dog we will be back!

We've been talking our fluffy dog to them since 2019. Every time they get the cut just right. She always comes home happy and spunky, they treat her with love and we appreciate it. We strongly recommend Mendo Dog.

Roxanne does a nice job, but her scheduling is terrible. You can expect your dog to spend 5+ hours in her shop.
