Small-town shopping at its finest! Very friendly staff. For it being a smaller store, the prices are fair and the deli has a good selection of hot and cold foods. I recommend the Western Burger, it's delicious!You can't beat the view from the store's parking lot. I suggest getting your meal and sitting outside on one of the picnic tables to enjoy the scenery.

We are lucky to have this well stocked grocery store in Foresthill.Prices are a little higher, but you don't have to travel to Auburn.Burgers,pizza & surprisingly good fried chicken made on the premises .

It was a cute little grocery store with a little bit of everything including a deli with great selection, even burgers! Check out their spice aisle, they've got so many to choose from! Even a small garden section out front. Nice seating area picnic tables outside to enjoy lunch and the view. :)

A local market with all the items of a larger chain store. Highly recommend stopping at the deli for lunch. Burgers and fries are fresh and tasty. There are picnic tables outside that have quite a view! Staff are friendly and helpful. A must stop when in the area.

Don't come here for food on lunch.Mf took 30 mins to cook one burger.It takes 5-10 mins to cook a burger..Then I finally get the burger and it has 1/4" of burnt meat on top and bottom. 😅 😆If you see the burger smoking lime it's on fire, you've waited far to long peewee.Go back to stocking shelves son.

The prices are extremely high. But my husband loved wandering through and all the memories of an old-fashioned store of his childhood. They have really cool old-fashioned items on the tops of the shelves. So it was fun to wander up and down the bakery item I bought, chocolate bread, was eight dollars, and it was fine but not worth eight dollars.

I moved to Foresthill two yeas ago. Wortons has been amazing! The food is amazing! The staff is amazing except for one female deli clerk. She has a bad attitude and is quick to shut you down on any special requests. I've been ordering the exact same pizza i would say 2x a month since we have lived here. I've never had any of the staff make a fuss or deny making the pizza the way I order it except this one lady.. 1/2 Cheese 1/2 pepperoni pizza extra cheese with the "rose" sauce (mix red/white). I've ordered this pizza so much they normally already know my order... but this one lady is always quick to shut me down. There is no sense trying to negotiate or argue with her. I've questioned her about the fact I've ordered my pizza this way for as long as I have with zero complaints or issues from the other staff.. She claims " it's our policy not to mix the sauce so she won't do it". If its a policy then why does evey single deli staff make my pizza except her... She claims cross contamination. I explained if you are willing to 50/50 a pizza the sauces touch so the "cross contamination " is still there so her reasoning isnt valid. She makes it not even enjoyable to go into the store when she is working. Whether im ordering from the deli or just shopping she has just a bad attitude. It's such a shock because this community is full of such kind friendly people to have a bad seed working at our community store makes me sad. At this point I'm done. The deli will no longer be getting any orders from me going forward.

Always a stop for us when we are in the area. Great deli and make to order grill. They have all the essentials. Eating lunch on the benches outside overlooking the divide is a favorite activity. Great staff--friendly, helpful.

Great place to stop, stretch your legs and load up on food and drinks. On site deli/kitchen is awesome. Pizza, sandwiches, hot food and ready made grab and go items are always available. Employees are attentive and happy to help and this store has everything I’ve ever needed.

This grocery store has a little of everything. Great sandwiches and pizza from the deli. They even have ice cream cones! Highly recommend you get a sandwich and sit on the benches outside to enjoy the view.

The employees are extremely friendly and helpful for the most part. Did have one bad experience with the kid working in the deli being pretty rude but everyone else has been very. Their downside is the prices which are very much on the high end of the spectrum, it does make sense though as they are very small market

Super friendly staff and great prices! I stop here on my motorcycle every time I'm in the area. There are picnic benches set up that overlook Tahoe National Forest and clean portapotties.

Just recently went to worton market and the customer service there is horrible I went with my family to wortons market on my way to sugar pine and I had the worst experience the workers there are extremely rude and argue while I was checking out. Also they gave really nasty face and snoby attitude. Now Everytime I'm at the store I feel like I'm not welcomed and uncomfortable. I hope they change the staff and fix this issue.

This little grocery store has everything! Not only groceries, but great sandwiches, pizza, hamburgers, ice cream and helpful friendly employees. Do you want awesome homemade fresh salsa, they have that too! Take your food that you bought at the deli counter to one of their picnic tables and marvel and the fantastic views of the American River Canyon and the Sierra Nevada Mountains beyond. Thank you Wartons family, stay just the way you are!

Love Worton's Market, I drove from Grass Valley to get ham shanks so that I could make ham and beans in my crock pot. Needless to say I stocked up on them. The meat department service was fantastic and very helpful. The store was very well stocked and very friendly customer service. See you soon and thanks for a wonderful drive in the foothills. We checked out the annual Craft fair while we were in town.

Unbeatable view from the shop parking lot. You can order a delicious pizza or whatever you like in the store and eat at one of the picnic tables while enjoying the amazing scenery.

Best lil grocery store! You can cash lottery and they have great pizza at their deli. If you bring a dog it cannot be in the cart or walking on a leash. You have to hold the dog while you shop or bring your own little wagon /cart to put your dog in.

Most excellent little store! They have pretty much anything you need. They have delicious fresh food and an outstanding lunch menu made fresh or pick up to-go sandwiches or wraps. The wraps are fantastic! It's a great place to stop for lunch and the view from the picnic table is better than any grocery store/market I've ever seen.

You should visit just for the views from the meat department. The store has a little bit of this and that. I have shopped there for the past 30 years. The food selection is great. Produce is wonderful. The meat is fantastic. The deli has in addition to the usual foods a hot case for fast food, pizza, hamburgers, made to order sandwiches and for dessert there is ice cream to enjoy. Eat outside and enjoy the view of the Middle fork of the American River. In the distance is the Crystal Range of the Sierra mountains. That is the back side of Lake Tahoe.
