I choose to drive all the way from Galt (where I reside) to this Safeway in Folsom to have my prescriptions filled every month. The pharmacy staff is so friendly and they greet me by name every time. If my doc forgets to send something in, they are on top of it with contacting his office to get it rectified. Says a lot that I'm willing to drive almost an hour away due to their awesome customer service.

My visit here was great the store was very clean, well maintained and stocked for daily shopping. The aisles were free of debris, the Deli area and Sushi looked great as well and the Sushi was nice and fresh, I went for the HotWok which was also really good!Overall it was a great visit Thank you for the great lunch options!

Bought a $100 gift card for my wife’s birthday and the balance was $0 when i tried to use it. Called the gift card issuer and they refused to do anything to help and then contacted safeway gift card customer service who had me send them pictures of my receipt and gift card twice only to decline my request 2 weeks later.

I hate when you rely on a place to be open based on Google maps listed hours just to get there and find out they closed 2 hours early for "unforseen circumstances." a place like Safeway is inexcusable to be closed unexpectedly in my opinion. twice in the last 3 months alone, and i dont even shop here that often due to the mark up on every day prices to make regular price look like a "sale" price. At least updates your damn store hours when you're gong to be so unprofessional l

Very well kept store. Very clean inside and outside of the store, restrooms are adequate and you'll find the store layout to be as expected with a Starbucks right inside the door. There are a generous amount of parking spaces 6 no problem finding a spot even on those really busy days. Store shelves are well stocked, and there are plenty of checkout lines and a large self checkout station. The bakery here is always overflowing with the best baked goods, including their delicious assortment of large cake slices, donuts, don't holes, cookies, eclairs, Danish and so much more! They have the best sourdough and French bread also which is available out of the oven, warm around 430 p.m. Safeway has become my go-to place for deals with my safeway club card, which also gives me a discount on their already low-priced gasoline

It’s not the worst Safeway, but the seafood (dungeonus crab) we got was horrifically old and gross, the sourdough bread that they make in house which is usually terrific was burned and stale, and the popsicles had all melted before Safeway put them in their freezer because it was just a frozen pool of sugar at the bottom of the box. Pretty disappointing for a California Safeway, but pretty much in line with the Safeways I’ve come across in other states.

This is one of my favorite Safeway's in the greater Sacramento area.I did an online order the other day and picked up my items. When I arrived home I noticed the shopper substituted items that I did not request.Was I frustrated? Yes. When I called they told me to bring the items back and they would make it right.It took me a few days to get back due to my schedule, but they made it right. The individual who helped me also explained the situation and why the mix up likely happened.It is a corporate issue. Target and other large retailers will tell you if an item is out of stock, or isn't sold at the store (and which store has it). If Target can do it then there is no reason that Safeway can't.Corporate would be wise to address this problem (if they want to keep up). Will be forwarding my suggestions to corporate .

This place has the best employees from Manager, to Meat to the young ones who pack your groceries. Best experience I have had shopping here in my new city. Thank you to the Safeway employees. I really felt SAFE today!

It's Safeway.They never impress me. Maybe it's because I was a vendor for them for too long.This store was just like all the rest.It's a good store, in general, it was clean, but just toss your garage on the ground, because there isn't enough room in the garage cans 😑(I blame parents for not teaching kids how to work, not Safeway 😆)Cheers!

Pharmacy is top-notch. Not only do they have medication ready on time, but they gave me insurance related advice, no one has given me before, which basically HALVED my copay. Ill make the drive to this pharmacy as long as i need to be medicated

The cashier was SO rude to me. I am a regular and have spent thousands and thousands shopping at this store. I didn't have enough on my bank card because I needed to transfer money from another account. Whilst I was doing this ( It takes one minute ) the cashier says to another employee " This broad broke the computer ". I said " What did you just call me "? He said " Is the money there yet, I have things to do ". I have never been treated this way in my life. I will go out of my way now and shop somewhere else. What's wrong with people today?

Excellent Location. Very clean store considering so many shoppers. Customer Service was good, and Plenty of registers to choose from kept lines short. Great Selection of flowers and Deli is wonderful. Only Gripe is parking lot not as sufficient as other places, but decent.

Shopping experience through the aisles was excellent. I love Matt❤ #1 cashier in the Nation. The stars are for him.Tried to get hot food however was unsuccessful. 2 employees wearing aprons were busy. There were 3 other employees washing pots & pans and talking 100x more then trying to help paying customers. It seemed as If you don't want chinese food they won't help you. A line of people wanted hot food. All the food was out and ready however they only wanted to serve the Chinese food. It seemed like no customers wanted that. I don't understand the hot food situation. Why some employees can help you with food in one hot case however can't help you with the food in the next hot case inches away? Is this normal? I asked the employee that was stirring the chinese food to help with the chicken inches away and he looked at the employees with aprons. After stirring he went back to pots & pans. The employees with aprons were busy and needed help. I had my newborn with me and tried to get hot chicken for my other children. On another occasion: 6/13/23 around 3:15pm I called in and the employee that answers tells me she will transfer me. After it rings for a while a gentleman answers and he tells me he can't check if something is in stock because "its all the way acrooss the store." Your employees are lazy and act like doing some work is an inconvenience to them. Being short staffed seems to be the common excuse for this behavior.

Opens early. Spacious and well stocked. Less expired product on the shelves than raley's and Sprouts. Good customer service. Impressive floral department. Pretty good organic produce selection with less plastic packaging than other stores.(Less than 3% of plastics are actually recycled) Extensive and competitively priced booze selection.

I don't know if the staff at the deli is slave labor or just forced to work in Delta's baggage claim department before each shift, but they may be the most uninterested, unpleasant group of employees on earth.I blame Safeway for this, when you have a whole department of a-holes it's the environment.

Not bad service. Employees need be a little polite and genuine! Store is clean and organized! Meat section employees can be a little humble! Check the label of the meat and make sure what you're buying! Overall good service. Managers are very helpful and modest!

I called 4 different Safeway stores and the only store that actually answered the phone was this one (Folsom). The girl who works in the floral department (i wish i took her name. I believe she had blonde hair), she was amazing and very helpful! The 2 flower bouquets she made for me were gorgeous. Thank you so much and i really hope you get recognized! I will definitely be choosing this location again.

Hello there potential shoppers! I was working a shift delivering groceries for shipt and I forgot a bag at checkout. It was around 9:30 Had to come all the way back 30 minutes round trip. The manager was very apologetic and gave me 10 dollars in gift cards. Best customer service imaginable! Very thankful for the polite, courteous and helpful staff, more importantly the manager. Could not have had a better experience with the manager taking responsibility and owning up to his staff's oopsie, helping me out with dinner. I have a rediculous amount of respect for this location because of this.

Thank you so much for helping me out with the Cake. I placed an online order for a Cake and I was there to just pickup the Cake ☺️. Turns out, cake was way too small than I had imagined!!( Literally the size of a circle cheese. My bad, I went by the picture without checking the actual size) Baker helped me out to pickup another cake and was more than happy to assist me with decorating it. Thanks a Ton 😍. You helped me from a birthday cake disaster 🎂
