I brought my rescue pup for a 4 hour meet and greet. All the staff were gentle, kind and made sure she felt safe with them. When I returned they told me she showered everyone with kisses and was very comfortable in their care. We have already booked boarding with them and have plans on a few daycare sessions before she boards! Thanks Folsom Dog Resort for a great experience with my baby girl Grace🐶🐾

I have a black lab puppy (7 months) that is with me 24/7. I had to board him because of work and the Folsom Dog Resort came highly recommended from a friend. I have to tell anyone looking to board their dog that this place is AMAZING. Let me give some examples why.First, when I called to book the reservation the person on the phone was extremely nice and genuinely seems excited to have my dog stay with them. Second, when we drove up there was an employee on break out front. She immediately came over and said hello and was so friendly to my dog (she could have just ignored us but didn’t). Third, the facility was clean and looked like a place you would want your beloved pet to stay in. And lastly, in the morning on day of pickup I got the most wonderful summary of his two day stay with them. When I picked up my dog he appeared to be really happy.I LOVE this place and highly recommend it (pricing was very reasonable considering the value and safety given to my dog).

I have been bringing my dog here since he was a month old and I started him in the boarding training I would get updates on my dog’s progress throughout his stay and they not only train the dog but teach you how to enforce the things they did with one on one training. The trainers are some of the best I have ever interacted with and they teach training that is useful and very effective. Some of which I don’t know you would get anywhere else.He is now 3 years old and we are still coming with him attending their small dog daycare. I got my dog during the pandemic so he was very used to me being around 24/7 and grew separation anxiety, being a full time college student I’m attending class two days a week the rest online so the daycare was the perfect way to get him out and around other dogs and people a few times a week that I’m gone and learn some healthy separation. As well as getting to have a whole day of play. Their play areas are big and both inside and out and are kept clean.The staff are all super sweet, friendly and very loving towards all the dogs. They truly care about the safety of your dog and I always leave knowing my dog is in great hands. Every time I bring my dog in for daycare he can’t get inside fast enough, he is truly happy to be there and is known by the staff and is always greeted. If you’re looking for training or a daycare for your dog Folsom Dog Resort and Training Center is the perfect place.

What an amazing place, I'm so impressed with this facility. I have been wanting something just like this for my lab puppy and so thankful I came across Folsom Dog Resort display table at the Home and Garden show last month. Our pup will be attendingonce a week for play and looking forward to starting pup training soon as well. Paws up for this dog daycare and Resort.

We used to take our old dog to Folsom Dog Resort but since we live all the way in Pollock Pines we had switched our young dog to somewhere closer. The care just wasn’t the same so we took our Border Collie, Marty, back to Folsom Dog Resort and it is sooooo worth the drive!He is so tired after daycare yesterday that he will only get up to eat or potty, which is impressive for a Border Collie who is a year and a half old. A tired dog is a happy dog.

Our Collie loves the care she receives at Folsom Dog resort. She had a bath and trim service from Asia this week. She is skilled and passionate about her work. Our dog is not a fan of the dryer, Asia goes the extra mile not to rush the process and uses cotton and ear muffs for her comfort. She looked so beautiful. I highly recommend them!

I’m a first time dog mom (mini poodle puppy). So, I was nervous for my anxious little one to go through the grooming process. Asia Smith is creative, compassionate, and dedicated to making sure my pup has the best grooming experience. My dog LOVES her. We go over inspiration photos and she nails it! I also appreciate her guidance on at-home care. I’ve already recommended to her to other dog parents!

We love the staff at Folsom dog resort! We recently completed our trial day there, and they really worked with and gave their all to our five-year-old large breed dog. She is very shy and can be skittish at first, but they worked their magic and she did great in her group session. She was approved for daycare. we are very much looking forward to using them and their services

We took our 8 yr old Husky to Folsom dog resort for a week of basic training. He wasn’t good about heeling or listening to commands. We experienced a wonderful transformation and learned the techniques to reenforce what he was taught. He was treated with praise and “treats” and we highly recommend them

We took our two Mini Schnauzers to the Folsom Dog Resort so they could get assessed for boarding. They had a blast playing with the other dogs. We are impressed with the entire setup and the staff. I trust them to take care of our precious fur kids. We also used the grooming service while they were there. All turned out better than we expected. We now feel at ease leaving our fur kids at a place we can trust when we have to leave them behind.

We just recently had our Golden Retriever, 20 months old, go through training at Folsom Dog Resort & Training Center for the 15 day stay and the experience was great!! He is so much more well behaved and we got excellent training as well to further what he learned. I would highly recommend if you’re thinking of having professional training for your dog.

This is an excellent boarding place for my dogs - all 4 of them! Two are seniors, two fight badly and need to be kept completely away from each other, one has bad separation anxiety, youngest is a 142 lb young newfoundland full of energy. They all get the care they need. Staff is kind and professional. They're always excited to go back, and I can go on my trip with ease of mind. Given the quality of service, I think the price is reasonable too.

This was our first time putting our dogs up to be boarded. Folsom Dog Resort made us feel comfortable and eased our stress. The staff was wonderful and patient each time we called to check on our dogs. They made sure our dogs were well taken care of and played with them often. The resort itself has all the amenities a dog could ask for. Our dogs especially loved the shallow pool. We will definitely bring our dogs to Folsom Dog Resort again. They had a really good time.

Folsom Dog Resort is a friendly, safe and caring environment for our dogs. We have taken our dogs to here for various service's over the last couple years and we have always felt completely welcomed and confident that our dogs are in good hands. Their communication is solid, giving us updates when necessary, following up on immunizations statuses, confirming upcoming appointments, etc.

We love Folsom dog resort! My almost 6 month, old golden doodle has stayed there a few times, and just came home from a five night stay They even called to ask if I wanted him bathed before pick up. That was the best idea ever! He came home clean and exhausted from all the fun :)

Great place for dog grooming, I don't know about their other services since I haven't tried anything besides grooming. Groomer named Ana is the best, she makes your dog look beautiful and is very kind and gives great customer service, highly recommend 👍

We take our Bella to Folsom Dog Resort every time that we have plans that don't provide accommodations for pets. The staff is the best, they are always friendly and take great care of the pets in their care. Our fur baby is special to us and the staff treat her as if she were their fur baby. Highly recommend!!

We did training, boarding and grooming here and are completely impressed. The training educated us as well as our dog. The boarding made him much better socialized with other dogs and people. And Asia has worked miracles grooming him from a shaggy matted mess into an adorable fluffy pup.

I apologize for this review being long overdue. I brought my 10 month old kitten to FDR to be boarded in January for a week while we were out of town. I paid for the 5 star treatment which included daily text updates with pictures and extra playtime for Simon. The communication with the staff was incredible. They let me know how Simon was adjusting and also if any issues or concerns came up. They were very quick to respond if I had a question and the pictures they sent were adorable. Simon was very well cared for (SPOILED) by all the staff. I think he had the entire play area to himself almost the whole time he was there because he was the only cat being boarded. The prices are a little bit high but for peace of mind alone, it's well worth it to know that your fur baby is being loved and spoiled. Thank you FDR. We will definitely be back.

Folsom Dog Resort is part of my “village “ for taking care of my dog. He goes there regularly for daycare and looks forward to it. We recently did a board and train package and Finn came home better able to handle moments of excitement and much better behaved on walks. They also helped me learn how best to work with my dog. I sent my young berniedoodle here for some training. When I saw her from across the room working with the trainer I was very impressed. She learned to heel, sit, lay down and stay very well! She also learned several other commmands. Now I have to continue working with her so she doesn’t forget that training. The instructor taught me what to do. I highly recommend them. I can’t say enough about them or their clean facility. They’re great!

We’ve been taking my dogs for boarding here for the past almost three years. My dogs love it. We started with two dogs that do not do well with stranger dogs, and they accommodate that. They were bonded, and were allowed to hang out with each other and with staff who worked there. I never had any issues dropping them off and could tell my two old boys loved going there and soaking in all the cuddles. We got another puppy and she did the boarding and training there. It was a wonderful experience for all of us. She gets along great with other dogs and plays the whole time she’s there. When I pick her up she is so exhausted from play that she sleeps most of the time. Sadly we had to put down one of our boys, and the staff was extremely helpful with my little guy that was left behind. This last time we boarded was going to be the first time he was without him, and they offered him the extra care that he’s been needing since putting my other dog down. My girl had her usual playtime with other dogs and the water, and my old little one was cared for really well (we think he’s going deaf and they made sure that all staff knew so everyone would be safe). I cannot recommend this facility enough. They did add a medication fee ($5/day) which was a surprise, and since my dogs cannot go without it, it’s an expense that I have to go with. It’s not a big deal, but did not factor that cost when budgeting for their boarding because I didn’t know about it. Overall, the staff here are all great and they all care for my dogs. I know they’re safe and can relax while we’re out of town.

Our dog went for a free evaluation day. She has not been in daycare before and loved it. Our dog enjoys the company of other dogs and this is a great way for her to socialize and her parents can take a little break.

My dog is very small and 16 years old. This is the only kennel I felt comfortable leaving him. They provide a nice clean facility and gave him one on one attention as he is not comfortable in group settings.

We have taken our dogs to FDR for 8 yrs and they love it there. We had them both trained at FDR and it made a world of difference. Staff is very attentive and accommodating. Our dogs are spoiled at FDR.
