Yosemite Lodging at Big Creek Inn B&B

I had a wonderful three nights at the Big Creek Inn B&B. It is just a few miles outside the southern entrance to Yosemite, making it very convenient to the park if you cannot find accommodations inside the park. Pamela, the host, is very welcoming and helpful in giving you ideas for things to do or possible hikes in the park. The breakfast in the morning is also very nice. The room I stayed in (the Mariposa) was very comfortable and quiet, and the mattress on the bed had just the perfect amount of firmness for me. I would consider staying here if I ever go back to Yosemite.Rooms: The Mariposa suite is large and spacious, and heated with a fireplace that is controlled by a thermostat in the room. The bed was very comfortable, too.Noteworthy details: Be aware that the TV service is a streaming service that relies on your own subscription, so make sure to bring your logon information along if you want to watch any TV during your stay.

This place is one of the best B&B I've ever been. Pamela is so helpful and kind. I was very surprised by how well she kept the place so tidy and clean. The breakfast is yummy, and I loved the soft and cozy bedding. The river right in front of the deck is beautiful. The place is also super close to the toll gate of the Yosemite. I will definitely visit here again when I come to the park.

5 minutes from the Yosemite South entrance this accomodation is second to none. Beautiful rooms (only three so very quie, fantastic balcony and decking area (don't forget to feed the cheeky Stellar's Jay) and a wonderful host in Pamela. You could not do better. It takes around 1 hour to arrive at Yosemite Village (if you leave around 06:15) which, if not staying in the park, is fantastic. Stock up on an amazing lunch from the Fish Camp General Store (located 2 minutes from the Big Creek Inn - buy the night before and store in your in-room fridge) and you are set for the day. Plus, don't forget about the brilliant Big Creek Inn breakfast of pastries, bagels, yogurt, fruit, eggs...). Could not recommendation highly enough.

Above and beyond. Room and bathroom were extremely clean and well kept. Breakfast was phenomenal each day. The innkeeper Pamela is amazing. After cooking our breakfast she would sit down with us and give us insider advice on how to best spend our time in the park. She even prepared us a breakfast-to-go one evening and left it in the fridge so that we could have a picnic on our sunrise hike the following morning. I wish I could give Big Creek Inn B&B more stars. Thank you Pamela for the great vacation!

Had a great stay at the Big Creek Inn, visiting from UK for 3 nights. The room was very large, clean, and had all the amenities you could want (even special little electric rods for drying shoes!). Pamela, the innkeeper, was very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the area. Would definitely recommend Big Creek Inn to anybody visiting Yosemite.

So glad I chose Bear creek B&B for my stay. It is located a short drive to the south entrance of Yosemite with a small general store conventionally close by if you need to make a quick stop for deli meat ect. The room was very clean and homey. Beds were very comfortable. Only a continental breakfast due to Covid but still very good. Pamela was friendly and helpful with anything we needed. I will definitely be coming back!

Lucky us! We were met at the entrance by Pamela and 5 deer that happened to be foraging right there.Everything was charming, very cozy and clean with wonderful breakfast each morning.Pamela gave us great tips about the park, highlighted the perfect day trip option and was so helpful in making our experience memorable.

Owner was incredibly helpful during our brief stay to visit Yosemite and helped us get the most out of the day and two half-day that we had available. Invaluable advice. Our room was a great size and well presented. I was pleased with the approach to the environment insisting that towels would be cleaned if requested and that soaps provided were done in a way to minimise environmental impact. Breakfast was always delicious including a range of cereal and yoghurt options, fresh fruit and a cooked option that changed - but the homemade pancakes are great! The homefire and friendly Indy, the house dog, completed a comfortable and thoroughly enjoyable stay.

The room was gorgeous and very clean! Pam is wonderful, kind, and accommodating. She takes very good care of her guests. Breakfast in the morning is far better than many restaurants I have been to. I will definitely stay here again and recommend this inn for anyone visiting the area.

Just minutes away from the southern gate of Yosemite National Park, Big Creek BnB in Fish Creek is the perfect place to stay!- Very clean- Great breakfast- Various dinner options around from 5 minutes- 20 minutes away.- Pamela gives great recommendations.- Lovely outdoor seating area to relax after hiking.

There are so many things to love about this Inn. It's a ~10 minute drive to the south entrance of Yosemite and ~20 minutes from Oakhurst so the location is amazing. The balcony from our room oversaw a beautiful meadow accompanied by the sound of running water in the foreground.Pam, the innkeeper, has absolutely thought of every little detail. From decor to informational pamphlets to her generous offers of her Yosemite wisdom, she was absolutely the highlight of our experience. Every recommendation she made was spot on and may have saved our trip during a record breakingly busy 4th of July weekend.If you find yourself deep in research planning your travel to the park, look no further, this is where you want to stay :)
