Definitely a gem in Big Bear. The lady working there is so kind. Great service and the best place to buy some sleds. They haven’t broken after multiple uses. Great prices for everything and well stocked.

What a gem! First off, they have a surprising great selection of micro breweries hidden in the back by the dairy products (and it's not just IPAs! They actually have good lagers, porters, stouts and ales!) If you need last minute items for a Big Bear vacation on the north west side (Fawnskin) of the lake, Fawnskin market probably has it. Keep in mind it's a small market, so it might not be the brand you want, but something to get you by until the next day if you don't want to drive to the big markets on the south east side.

I absolutely love this store - whenever we go up to the cabin we go often. They have absolutely everything from cat food to mosquito repellent to dairy, fishing gear, clothes, and so on. Of course not overly cheap, but for not being a chain store the prices are very reasonable, and you support a local business. The service is super friendly, and much information about the area is added. Great little spot!

For a small town, this is a great little touristy general store(?). I wish they could carry more memorabilias and more fishing products.

Been going here since I was a little kid. Mike has cleaned the store up a lot from when Doris owned it.... Sharon and Laurie are great employees. Always friendly. Yeah, it's a crowded little store, he stocks a lot of stuff so you can avoid driving 8 miles around the other side of the lake to get something.

Bought the wrong sized snow chains thinking I needed them for the front, but actually needed them for the rear. The owner was kind enough to exchange them for the right size since I hadn’t driven on them. While these chains seem difficult to the novice they are actually very easy to use after one trial run (daylight helps) and were a lifesaver getting down the mountain. Glad to have these future trips.

When I just need a couple of things and don't want to mess with the crowds at Staters or Vons I go to the Fawnskin Market. They usually have what I need and I get excellent friendly service along with some local Fawnskin news. The convenience is worth it plus I am supporting a local business. 🤠😎👍

We were the first ones to walk in early in the morning the clerk was very friendly very nice lady I appreciate her great service the store was stocked with many items that you would forget to bring with you. They sell adventure pass and fishing license too . They sell almost everything ! Next time we’re in town we will shop from here again! hope you have a nice day!

Great local market with surprisingly reasonable prices right in the middle of Fawnskin. Super selection of liquor & wines with prices similar to the big markets on the other stores without having to fight the traffic. Friendly people too, Mike is quite the gentleman.

This place was super friendly the clerk at the store helped me out with items on my list. Also gave some great advice of things to do around the area. This is one of the great places to go for camping supplies that you have forgotten to bring, also cheap fire wood is sold here.

The store is rather small and once ther are more than 4 customers inside it get really crowded. The clerk was very friendly and provided great service
