This is a very cute, welcoming coffee shop. I went here every morning of my stay in town and loved everything I had. You can tell James puts a lot of effort into his shop by the quality of the drinks, food, and service.They have coffee, other hot and cold drinks, as well as baked goods and fruit. They also sell artwork which decorates the inside of the coffee shop.I highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: The have different milk options available. They also had a gluten free baked good option when I was there.Parking: There is free parking along the storefront as well as along the street.

What a perfect place to stop for a warm drink and tasty treats! James and Shelly treated us like loving parents. We initially just stopped for caffeine fuel, but stayed to chat and hear their stories. They also give great tips on local tourism. Didn't get pictures of the coffee / pastries because we were so caught up in convo. But here are our exploration shots via their suggestions!

My chai latte was YUM and it was perfectly made. Fast service too! James is always smiling and laughing as he makes coffee for you. This is a gem of a spot in a small town but very conveniently located at the intersection of 299 and Cassel Fall River Mill Road.

The best vanilla latte I have ever had! The service was incredible, James was so knowledgeable about his coffee, he treats you like family and the coffee shop felt like home!

We stayed in one of the rooms upstairs they rent out on Airbnb, and the bonus, (besides what a lovely couple James and Shelly are), is that we got a delicious cup of coffee in the morning. James takes great pride, and has researched how to make the perfect cup of coffee, however you like it. I had the hazelnut and Carmel lattes and they were both delicious. Do yourself a favor and stop in the next time you drive through Fall River Mills.

James is a coffee king, nobody I'd rather buy coffee from. We had the peppermint mocha on ice today... read the menu and saw they have have quite a few tasty looking options. Can't wait to go back and try them. The interior decor is neat and cozy and they even have an Air BnB upstairs. A+. Lastly he gave us a couple free cookies too!!! Now that's one great Coffee Encounter if you ask me. 😉

I highly recommend stopping by Coffee Encounter, it has everything you would hope for in a coffee shop. From great coffee, customer service, atmosphere and location! You have all the must haves for coffees and flavors. The barista is friendly. The atmosphere is clean and cozy. The location is extremely convenient with it being easy to get to. Along with beautiful views of Northern California.

So I don’t do reviews but I’m doing this for Coffee Encounters because they have an amazing atmosphere. I am just a black coffee kind of guy I don’t like all the fancy additives so I really can’t talk about that but my wife loves their flat white! James he’s an amazing guy I’ve known him for a while and yeah I consider him a close friend so yeah you guys need to come and have a cup and shoot the breeze with whoever happens to be in there you will be glad you did!
