3 hrs plus for such, groomer was very nice but my dog is licking to heal his paws, overall cut was terrible. I had to buy socks to put on him

I was greeted when I walked in and helped immediately to locate items that I needed. The prices are comparable to other pet stores, but they had such a variety of items to choose from you couldn't help but grab a few more items while you are there. I love that they adopt pets on the weekend, that you can also bring a pet into the store, they have training classes for dogs, and that you can earn points by signing up to be a member. This store is also located in a fantastic area in case there's other shopping you need to do.

Horrible experience, and stupid, lazy policies. We visited to see if they had any snakes, and they did have a little corn snake. Snakes have personalities and quirks just like cats and dogs. Well, it appears that their policy is that you have to BUY the freakin' snake before they will let you hold it. I understand that they don't want a hundred people with dirty hands touching a bunch of reptiles in a row without washing hands, but they could easily and simply ask people to wash or sanitize their hands before handling a little, harmless corn snake for two minutes. Would you ever buy a cat without first being able to interact with it? No. And speaking of cats, we said, "Fine. We see you have a cat for adoption. Could we interact with her?". The employee essentially said, "Nope. That's a hard pass. A representative from the company that hosts the animals has to be here." Absolutely pathetic. We were not exactly regular patrons, but we used to get food from here whenever we went to Barnes and Noble, but no more. EVERYTHING is cheaper on Amazon and/or Chewy anyway. You should rename your store PetStupid.

This is a horrible place to get your dog groomed. They lack professionalism, and patience. First, the groomer was 15 minutes late to a 7 am confirmed appointment, while I was there at 6:50 am waiting in the cold with my dog . Once the groomer shows up she proceeds to tell me she does not have a key to open the door and we must wait for the manager who was 30 minutes late. Seriously, is this way we run businesses these days. To top everything off I get no apology from the personal being late but I leave my dog anyway to get a call back 20 minutes after I left that my dog is too nervous and nipping at them and I must come get him without services done. Well, I called a mobile groomer who provided great service and came to my home to groom my dog. She continuously acknowledged how good my dog was. I prefer to pay a little than deal with incompetent people at Petsmart . If you value your dog and time , don’t get your dog groomed here, ever.

I unfortunately bought a $80 bag of a bag of expired dog food. Over a year old. The store was closed by 8pm too late for me to return it. I should not have to be the one checking if my dog food is expired or not. For this reason I will no longer be shopping at this location and be sure to check expiration dates.

So may cute fisheys and critterz it was hard to choose. Staff is knowledgeable Nd friendly. Makes the buying process a lil easier n less scary. Lol. Hey, they may jus be pets, but i want to make sure theyre properly cared for just the same. Still my go to place for puppy vAccines. Not to busy. No crazy lines or anything like that. Just lots of adoreable Nemos n G Forces..

I haven't been to a "Pet" store in awhile as I really don't have a reason to shop at specialty stores like these. However, we needed a cone for our girl. The store was neat and not too busy. I was in and out quickly.

I usually only come on here to give positive reviews but I’m here writing this today so hopefully the employees at this PetSmart Location can get the proper training they need to better serve future customers and hopefully not lose anymore loyal customer. After this incident, I have not been back for months and I use to make weekly trips to pick up crickets for my gecko and pray mantises. I also use to purchased my dog treats and cat food here. So a few months ago I was in the store just to pick up crickets. So I stood in line for this cashier (description: faded green hair lady) because typically they charge you for the crickets before they actually go get them. I don’t know why it’s done this way, but it seems pretty typical in other stores too. So this day I was in a hurry I purchase the crickets and then expected the lady to either get another employee to help me or to step away from the register and get my crickets herself. Instead she told me something about her just getting back from a weeklong vacation and that she didn’t have a headset. I am assuming they don’t have an intercom system for the store either or she didn’t know how to use because she made no attempt to contact anybody. So then she continued ringing up the half dozen other people in-line behind me. At this point I am getting really angry, I have paid for my order that I have not received and now I am made to stand there while this cashier rings up 5/6 customers behind me. I let her know this is not OK. I expect the professional thing for her to do is tell the other customers to hold on one moment and get the crickets, that will take all of one minute, then finish her line. I walked around the store several times looking for another employee and could not find another employee insight, except for someone who was introducing somebody to a dog in that little meet and greet section. So I went back to the cashier which she is now ignoring me now, and continuing to just ring up the rest of the line. So I am standing there for about 25 minutes with my receipts and no items. Needless to say, the line finally died down and then she just went looking for another employee to get the crickets instead of doing it herself, so I was getting pretty angry and just went to the cricket tub, ready to scoop them out myself . It was that action that got her to run over and start finally start doing it herself. She then threw the cricket bag on the shelf right there, didn’t even hand them to me and took off angrily with no words. I have never had an experience like this with PetSmart, but it unfortunately it was detrimental and inconvenient enough that I knew I didn’t want to chance encounter with the same cashier again. So moral of the story I now shop at PetCo and they are great!

If I could give this location 0 stars, I would. My kids picked up a parakeet to give their new Budgie a partner. It became clear this bird had a toxic relationship with food. He did not fare well after 2 weeks. The kids took the bird back to he store as he was dying in a fuzzy towel & the Petsmart associate who helped them took the bird out in some wax paper cone and was waving the bird around dead with a lack neck in front of them with no sympathy and looked for a trash can under the fish to throw the bird in the trash. My kids are older teens, but had I been there to see that I would have HIT THE ROOF! My children, myself AND Budgie had bonded with this bird & he was thrown in the trash and treated like nothing in front of my children. We have had to send our Budgie back to the breeder to monitor him for parasites, worms etc as we were new bird owners and didn’t know any better than to adopt from a big box store. Shame on this company for poorly taking care of their animals AND hiring employees who obviously don’t care. The only saving grace was a possible a manager with blue hair who issued my kids a refund a few days later and offered condolences. Not only does petsmart obviously not care for the animals in what is supposed to be their” loving care”, they also don’t care about their customers & traumatized my kids!! How incredibly sad for the animals & those that love them.

I always have a great experience here! My dog is 10 years old and a vet has never said anything about allergies. Lately she has been licking excessively making herself bleed/scab. The manager and employee gave me some great info on what may be causing this as well as giving me products to help her. Furthermore, my dog is all better now and I’m awaiting to take her to the vet. Thank you to the manager and employee for taking your time to help me.

I usually shop here for my aquatic supplies not fish in particular, I have a certain shop for that but they have low prices on supplies and feeder crickets. I enjoy the updated inventory every couple weeks.

The older woman at the cash register around 4:30pm was very rude. Instead of greeting me she interrupted me while I was asking her how she was doing and said “phone number”. It was weird, I heard her interaction with the customer behind me and it was totally different. However I did get my baby groomed today and they were very nice and respectful. They did a great job, even though she’s very shy around new people. She really enjoyed her grooming session.

Petsmart has always been my retailer of choice when it comes to purchasing products for my pets. From the professional magicians at the grooming salon to the associates on the floor, the Fairfield Petsmart makes one feel welcomed and cared for. Although I may have other pet retailers near me, I would take the time to drive to this location because the staff are just amazing people who love pets!I would also recommend that you download and take advantage of the Petsmart Treats program through the Petsmart App. You can accumulate rewards relatively quickly!

I took my 110lb Rottweiler here for grooming and they were so good with him like he was thier own. I would recommend them for any "dangerous" breeds as they showed no discrimination.

Mostly it's great. Julie is phenomenal she knows my dog's name and mine. Can't say much for the groomer or the computer system but the rest of the staff goes above and beyond

It's a pretty nice location. There's plenty of other shopping in the Plaza. The mall and theater are also right across the street. Was waiting to pick up the family dog from grooming. My mom and I just looked around until we took him home.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this store. While it won't rival its inventory to Amazon/Chewy, it's nice to have a brick and mortar store that has good/quality products - enough varieties and clean and friendly customer service.

Good variety of products and good prices. I had a very positive experience this time when I accidentally left the Serestos flea collar I bought at the register and left. I called 2 hours later and they had it for me and they put my name on it and saved it there for me and I picked it up the next day with no problem. Each of the associates were very kind and helpful about that which I truly appreciate!

My son dropped off my Pomeranian Husky yesterday 8/27/21 before 11am, to get a bath/brush plus a package that cost me additional $20, to get the services my dog’s needs. After an hour they called that my dog is ready for picked up for that services I booked that cost me $57 in total. When I saw my dog it looked like not even bathed, nails not trimmed, bottom not cleaned and the teeth not brushed. I was like shocked they charged me and yet I’m not satisfied the way my dog looked. I’m so upset. I would never book or never recommend this store ever again. Very poor services.
