Very little chicken salad on my Napa almond chicken salad sandwich. It wasn’t even the “normal” chicken salad. It was larger pieces of sliced chicken. Did not have a bakery item even though on the app it showed available. They subbed in an item that was $2 less. Ordered tomato soup but didn’t receive croutons or cheese. Service was very slow. Overall there is a weird vibe in there.

I only come for a healthyish meal. Most times they're out of random things I want. Typically there's a slow line when I come so I stick to self serve ordering. Food is usually alright. There's just some kind of emotional disconnect at this location that is kind of bleh. It feels like you would at a cafeteria or library rather than a welcoming environment.

My wife really loved her salad. Yes for me I couldn't really relate or identify with any of the menu items so it's basically an experiment you don't know what you're really gonna get. So if you feel adventurous go for it I'm not a real adventurous person.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options

This location needs to hire new people is what I think. I love Panera, but have never had service like this anywhere else. My favorite soup tasted watered down, absolutely no flavor and the bowl was clearly dirty. Sandwich had one piece of chicken on it. And I paid $3 for a cup of unripe fruit with like 4 pieces in it that were even edible. Panera is not cheap, so scamming people on their food is just wrong. Mind you there was only 1 other person here, not busy whatsoever and most of them were standing around.

The food was typical Panera, good. The place was a disaster. You had one guy walking around listening to music on his phone (no headphones, just out loud, and singing from time to time). I think this was the guy supposed to be cleaning.... And I say supposed to be because the place was nasty. Pretty sure you couldn't have passed an inspection at all.. The drink area was filthy. The tables were mostly filthy and it was only 5pm. The people in the back were very loud and talking about things I don't want to hear about while I'm eating. Obnoxious and inappropriate for a restaurant. Never visit this one again.

Way below my expectations. I love Panera bread but this one is just awful. Poor service and filthy place. Coffee was served with foam and finger prints all over my coffee cup. That was disgusting. No labels on sandwiches we ordered. Didn’t know which one was whose in our table. That’s the basic policy they should have. Workers were not hygienic at all . Not going there or any Panera after this experience. 👎👎👎

Large restaurant, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Clean with a friendly staff, and our food came fairly quickly. Nice that Panera has healthier choices, but some still fit into the comfort food category. And they have bread, cookies, rolls and bagels for purchase! Large parking lot, easy in and out. Near the movie theatre.

If you’re coming for “the take” spicy chicken sandwich, be prepared to be sorely disappointed. I know food is never going to be how they advertise it, but this really takes the cake. The sandwich barely had crumbs of the “fried pickles”, see the picture of what you actually get. Salad was sloppy and tomato had stem on it. Grapes in my fruit cup had dirt on them. Girl in the back calling people was rude when I showed her the sandwich and she grabbed a small handful more of the crushed fried pickles and threw them in the sandwich like she was irritated. Management should be made aware of the way food is being prepared there. Drive a bit farther and go to the Panera in Vacaville instead

Panera is ALWAYS out of ingredients! It's incredibly frustrating....I love fresh food and I understand such ingredients don't always keep as long but every single time you're out of something. This time it was sourdough bread, French onion soup, butternut squash soup and Pepperoni pizza.....how are you out of bread!?! I guess I'll take the 12th thing down the list I was hoping for... :/ Super disappointing and it's been this way for years. My husband and I even joked when we walked in here "what are they out of this time?" Last time they were out of pepperonis and the clerk actually asked us if we still wanted the pizza? What a joke! If you can't keep food in stock on a consistent basis shut your doors because you shouldn't be in business.

I went in yesterday June 30. Everything was well. The cashier was very helpful. When my mother and I went to get our drinks the containers were dirty. They went bad and tasted like rotten fruit. I told one of the workers about it and I asked if she could taste it too. Immediately she started replacing them. Other than that service was great.

Cashier in the front of the bakery w brown curly hair has poor customer service. Literally ordered a bagel pack w the two cream cheese tubs. They didn’t have one of the flavors and she let me know she put 4small ones in there I understood I looked at the pack and the 4 smalls didn’t equate the 1 8oz tub, so I asked for 2 extra because it’s for a Corp. event and it’s hard to share the small ones. She said no because it’s the same. So I went and did the math and realized it wasn’t the same. So I went back and asked if I could just have one extra she blows her breathe because she has to turn around and grab one extra but then she opens the other side of that mini fridge grabs a box huffing and puffing and say “here I actually found the large ones just go to your car and get the other ones and you can have this” mind you this is a rapid pick up order …. For me as a customer to be inconvenienced by an employee like her w a bad attitude because I’m asking her to do her job is crazy despite the fact or that I orders was in stock but not in my bag because she had to cut open a box …

Ordered a breakfast sandwich, got half of one. Is this normal for this place? Mentioned it the the server and she told the manager and they brought out a whole sandwich and let me keep the half sandwich as well. Score...☺ nice place but not my thing. Sandwich was pretty good though.

Go to the Starbucks in Barnes and Noble instead. The friendly cash register is really an attempt to overshadow the poorly assembled food and lack of options in stock!! They only had one coffee option—seriously? And empty half& half and 2% milk pitchers.The kitchen staff seemed to be working diligently to get orders out for the three people in the sitting area..but my chipotle avocado sandwich had a little sprinkle of chicken and one avocado slice. And dry oatmeal? Where do I start..I eat the same breakfast every time I go to Panera and I am so incredibly disappointed. What a way to start my morning.

This location has steadily gotten worse and worse. I’ve tried to overlook it but today was the last straw. I ordered tea and a scone. When I went to get the hot water there was none. I told someone who looked like the manager and she sent someone to refill the giant carafe. I waited and waited almost 10 minutes and it still wasn’t full. They could have gave me a cup really quick but instead just ignored me. I’m leaving with a cup with tea in sugar and no water. It wasn’t even that busy when I got there. They need to get it together

I ate here with a friend and the staff made it pretty uncomfortable. They kept walking past the table, and as I was cleaning my tray off before leaving. I don’t know why they felt the need to surveillance two people eating flatbread and sandwiches. One of the female crew members got caught saying I was “right here” while looking at me. Very rude. I didn’t have time to speak to the manager but it probably would’ve done no good. Also, count the calories before you make a final choice. They were disappointingly high, even for some of the healthy items.

I go here at least 3 times a week and always mobile order. The food is pretty consistent and the employees are generally pleasant. Occasionally things aren’t picture perfect. I would recommend that for online orders they make the pickup location consistent. I never know where my food is going to be. I wait for the email notifying my food is ready then head to the restaurant. Sometimes it’s sitting on the little table, some times it’s sitting in the designated rapid pickup locations and other times it’s still sitting in the kitchen. It seems that employees aren’t unified on where to put the food.

Management very unfriendly, uninviting, and looks as if she dreads being there. You never receive a friendly invite. If unhappy people are leading other people and preparing your food it makes the food and the atmosphere very unpleasant. I visited Panera Bread in Novoto. What a wonderful upbeat friendly place!! Fairfield Panera is really ghetto. Sad. Will try and never return. Ill try Vacaville its very pleasant and friendly.

My last two experiences at this location have been uncomfortable. The first time,One of the managers was giving me dirty looks whenever she walked by. The second time I watched what I assumed was another manager making my sandwich and in the middle touched her hair several times without changing gloves or washing hands. Definitely seemed like she was more concerned about her looks versus following food handling procedures. I ended up throwing out my sandwich. It wasn’t even busy, I guess this staff just doesn’t really care even though customers can see them while making their food. Today was the last time I’ll ever go to this location: showed up an hour before they close and the doors were locked. Poor management all around.

U ordered a soup/sandwich combo and the grilled cheese sandwich the cheese wasn’t even melted! It looked like they placed it at the last minute before they burned the bread. The soup was luke warm and not seasoned well. Very bad food quality! Will never order from here.

Lani and James are the definition of “Above and Beyond”. On a day where my wife was having a major surgery and I had to take care of the baby and the day’s errands alone, they made things so pleasant and much much easier for us. They brightened up my cloudy day. Thank you and the rest of the team for always making us feel at home! Not just last Tuesday, but every single time we come to the store. I ate here once and got sick. I wasn’t too sure if it was this location as I ate a 2 different places and brought them both home at the same time. I ate here at my break at 3:30 today and at 5 I was throwing up so bad that I literally almost passed out… I’m assuming this is now 2x this location has gotten me sick same thing I ate both times was the broccoli and cheddar soup…Someone needs to work on food safety as there was obviously some cross contamination at least with my food….

They’re always out of food. Not a good experience almost every time I come. They need a better budget because it’s honesty unacceptable.
