One of the best stores for daily shopping for what the housewife and the rest of the family need, the goods and everything that is offered there are of the finest varieties. They have a special section for making all kinds of salads, as well as a distinct section for making fresh sushi. I did not find a donut or bagel tastier than what is made and displayed in the special bakery section goods elsewhere. I recommend visiting it at least three times a week

They overcharged me for a birthday cake, the Associate who supervises the cashiers, or the front area, I believe Samantha (white lady with tattoos on her chest and short hair, in her 50s but pretends to be a young girl) is rude, incompetent and nonprofessional to handle customers issues. The store manager, the young lady, supported her that she is good with customers, that tells me even the store manager is incompetent and nonprofessional. Hey, I got my money back! You dealt with the wrong customer who holds two degrees in management. I can offer a free training for ya ladies.

This store has the worst service I've experienced in years. They don't care about their customers. The app shows an item is in stock, then instructs you to "ask an associate." When you ask where it can be found, the answer: I don't know <shrug>. Employees don't memorize everything in the store <eyeroll>. Bad treatment isn't an isolated event. My first couple of trips there, I wrote off the lack politeness/help, thinking it might be bad timing on my part. However, every single time I go there I am surprised again by their disdain for customers. I happily now drive miles out of my way to go to Raley's where you can always count on employees who are eager to be helpful.

i asked a worker if i could use there bathroom and they gave me a dirty look for merely asking? why? a common fear of mine is asking customer service a question and then annoying the employee even though their meant to help customers. never ever asking to use the bathroom again.

Sold me spoiled milk. & also their fresh cut fruits are under the amount they claim to be. They chop it up in large pieces so you only get one cut of each fruit. Disappointing.

I usually stop by for a few things after work. Great bakery. Tasty bao buns and other last minute dinner items. Starbucks kiosk inside. 4 self check out registers. Safeway select items are good. UPDATED: Korey was super helpful in self-checkout. I only say this because in all my years of self-checkout, I usually have to flag someone down (at any store, not just here) but he was paying attention and saw I had 50% off items in my cart (we all need to save where we can in this economy) and said "let me know when you get to the discounts so I can help you out." So I did and he was fast with the editing. Super star employee. He deserves a raise!

I do my regular shopping somewhere les expensive, but for a quick meal nothing beats the Safeway Ready Meals section.Most importantly​, go to this store: other Safeways are decent, but this location has them all beat.

I like this place. Nice selection of items at value pricing if you have a rewards card, plus earn 10 cent off a gallon per every 100 you spend. Organic selection. They have a gas station.

So, I'm walking through Safeway with an associate to show me something when my sandal broke and feel of my foot as I was walking. So embarrassing. She was very kind and she showed me where they had flip flops to match my sun dress I'm wearing, and on my way to church. Thank you God, I didn't have to go into church shoeless. And thank you Safeway!!

What are these bananas I was delivered? Literally every one is bruised and soft and disgusting. I mean I tipped nicely, picked the biggest delivery window.. what the flip. Expect better for the prices you offer Safeway. Gah dang.

Sad visit today. Empty shelves in produce, and very empty in Deli. The deli clerk tried very hard to find my item, but the whole counter was empty and only Primo was available. Hopefully this gets fixed soon.

This Store is very clean and the employees are efficient and courteous. The courtesy clerk Mark is very kind and goes out of his way to help us out every time we visit and he is working. The store security seems to be very effective as I feel very safe as they follow Me around the store I it's like having a Crew of Body Guards. Thanks for the Extra protection hats off to the Security team .

Love Safeway I mis my Safeway in lake tahoe but this one is wonderful and a pharmacy in side doggie shop and I spent only total 2.99 +3.00 =6.00 look at my beautyful flowers.

I like Safeway..if you have their app..it is amazing. Today I got large packs of pork chop steaks for .88 cents a pound. I got 3 pounds of thick bacon for 7.99.They give you special coupons and savings for having the app.Today my total was 67.14...I paid only 31.96. I saved more than I spent with all the coupons...woohoo.Last month I bought 60 dollars in groceries and bought only the save u more sale items...I only paid 28.00. Regular items are very expensive...but you can get amazing deals...Thank you Lord...If you shop there...download the app and get the Safeway card...they will give you exclusive deals.

I like this store, and I often visited it, when the doctor was taking this area. It's nice and clean, fresh goods, there is a place to relax, sit inside the store and outside, which is very important where you can eat soup or drink coffee, and it's great. But I am contraindicated to go by car, I go here my foots alone for almost an hour, so I can not be here as often as I want.04.09.2024. They destroyed the hot soups and what was a cozy place with tables where you could sit and eat, both inside the store and outside. And became too expensial, and it is not better than the Walmart on Manzanita Ave. But the store is cleaner, nicer than other stores of the same brand.

8:30 at night. 1 checker .. 8 people in line. 1 was disabled. The young man was doing a really good job but he had no help..not a bagger or another checker. People were asking to please put on another checker but it fell on deaf ears. Of course there were 2 employees chatting aand laughing over by the self checkouts. You can tell thruout the store that the employees who were there are not happy.. a few downright grumpy.. GET THEM HELP!

This Safeway is one of my neighborhood favorites. It's in a convenient location, and it'll they don't have what you are looking for, they are conveniently located close to other comparable (if not differently priced) grocery stores. Pros: Ii believe there are 8 self check outs, and minimum (1) 15 items or less regular check-out line with a clerk. Spaces in parking lot are ample, meaning wide enough to park and lots of spots. Cons: apparently their are more parking spots than shopping carts, to be fair they ran into of carts last time, and the parking lot was also full, so...

I've shopped this store for awhile no problems at all I would of gave 5+ stars then they found out that my girlfriend and I was living in our car there service changed like night and day because of the way they changed up on us I know take my money else where which causes me to loss out on the great deals and money saving rewards that I'd use putting gas into my home 2 maybe 3 times a month it's all good though were I shop now they keep a smile on there face and even give us leads to community resources thanks but no thanks Safeway on Dewey

As a vendor who frequents several Safeway stores daily, this store, in particular, is one that truly stands out. Kelly is the epitome of excellent customer service. She goes above and beyond, works very hard, but always has a positive attitude and super nice. It's these little things that can truly make an impact for a business. All the Safeway employees in all the stores I've been in have been wonderful and quite helpful, but Kelly truly exceeds expectations.

quality of everything is always pretty good, but price gouging seems to be a thing at Safeway now. Its making it really hard to justify making a trip to this store when all i need to do is drive 4 more minutes down the road to a different grocery store and pay almost half of what Safeway charges. Get it together guys!

Definitely more of a neighborhood store. If you’re not a regular Safeway shopper than the prices for not having a membership are a little high, so wouldn’t be my go to for a quick trip kinda thing. The selection of product was pretty decent and I did like the floral department it was well stocked and maintained overall a decent store. Heads-up the self checkout system in this location is a little dated so just pay attention to the options on screen and you’ll be on 😂

This was my go to store years back. Not anymore!!! This store has gone downhill in all aspects and departments. The poor treatment of employees is reflected and projected by many employees. It was never like that, even when I worked there as the baker.

Not the greatest Safeway but I do like Safeway. I feel like they don't pay attention to the customers. There was a man waiting on line for longer then 30 plus minutesThey told him there was only one employee that could help him and helped everyone else in line after making us wait for 15 min. Only reason why anyone came to help is because I got a big mouth.

I have a soft spot when it comes to going to Safeway for my needs. They may be a little higher priced than most of your grocery stores, but their quality outweighs most. Particularly in their meat department. I have been going to Safeway stores for over 30 years, and have never been disappointed. If you have a problem in any area of their store, guaranteed they will make it right, be it in the grocery department or pharmaceutical. It's Safeway all the way hands down!! Try them, I'm sure you'll be pleased, happy shopping!

I went into Safeway for beer and a kielbasa...the store is always clean and never crowded, the shelves are always well stocked, they have some items that you can't find anywhere else... the clerk was very friendly and helpful. It's a nice place to shop for groceries

So customer service is good when you talk to a manager. So I did a online order for a pick up time. That time came and went never got a notification that I was completed or that it will be completed. Called the store spend 20 mins trying to reach someone, I was placed on hold and transfer so many times I lost count, finally got a manager and they were able to assist me. I got home and they made substitutions I didn't approve and they never notified me.i called again to try and get this resolved and again I was placed on hold transfered to different departments including Starbucks, finally got to a manager I had to drive back to to store and return the items that I didn't want again the manager was very nice.... NOW the reason for the 2 stars I go to get the bakery fresh bread I got from this store yesterday not even opened and there was bugs in the bag it was small bugs in it. I checked the bag it was brand new never opened.

It was very crowded and there were no carts to be found. I took the last hand basket but my purchases made it to heavy for me to carry. Thankfully a woman in line with me at the pharmacy gave me her cart because she said she wasn't going to buy anything. Then on the way out a half hour later a woman approached me outside when she couldn't find one and asked if she could have my cat once I loaded my groceries into the car. So I took a start off for them not collecting carts but I did appreciate the checkout guy separating my groceries from 2 bags to 3 when he noticed I was having trouble lifting one of them. The staff there is always friendly!
