Came in to buy a few quick groceries to stock the motorhome before heading up to Three Rivers for the weekend.The vegetable tray veggies were rancid; the brown and serve buns were like hockey pucks and the cinnamon rolls were no better.

I’ve never had a real issue at this location but this location decided to hire or bring back an employee named “Augie”. Augie is extremely rude and likes to make sure that even customers can hear his voice and words. I heard him yell at another cashier who was several lanes away from him to turn on her light instead of just kindly asking. I don’t know why this location would keep someone like that, just shows how little they actually care about their customers and employees.

Usually very fresh meats and veggies. Customer service is awesome and the employees are always pretty conversational which is nice. My go to store and I love the bakery it has now in Exeter.

Went to Save Mart to buy my daughter's gluten free breads. This brand is the best. I have tried many brands in past. This is the one she loves. I highly recommend it.😁

Nice grocery store! Not from the area so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Just like a Vons or QFC. Well stocked store with a good meat selection. The store is clean and the staff are friendly. Next time I’m in the area, I’ll be back!

They have the best variety in town and the layout of the store makes sense and flows nicely. The only issue I run into often is moldy produce. I worked for a citrus ranch and understand that things go bad, but it always ends up being exactly what I needed that day. For example, I've been trying to get fresh brussel sprouts for two weeks. Both times I went, they were sprinkled in mold. I know they can't catch everything and rot can be sneaky, but every bag guys? I need me some sprouts! Lol

I always shop at my local save mart store. Even when the economy has prices inflated, i manage to find savings with the regular sales they offer at save mart.

Went into the Exeter store and bought a couple items as well as a gift card this morning. The man working the register handed me the cash back in a crumpled up pile. He started onto the next person. When I got to my car I realized he never gave me my receipt. I walked back in and asked if i could get a copy of my receipt. He informed me that if I wanted the receipt it would be in the trash can next to him. He said I was welcome to dig through his trash but he wasn't going to do it. I was disappointed as I normally receive better service.

One of the cashiers named Augie was very rude as I was checking out. When it was my turn in line he looked and me with annoyance by rolling his eyes. I had only gotten a few items and when it was time to insert my card I did and it said entry cancelled. I told him and he proceeded to say “I don’t know what YOU did, I don’t know” as if I knew anything about how to handle the cashier register or why the card reader wasn’t reading right. Also, he wasn’t going to fix it or ask me to reinsert it he basically implied that my card was declined and that it was my fault the card machine wasn’t working. He’s very lazy because he did not want to bag my items nor help customers as he obviously blamed this situation on me. The card reader did end up working although it wasn’t because he tried to restart or fix it it just happened to read my card as I inserted it again. Besides Augie, the other cashiers are always nice as I’ve come here since I was little. It just happened to be with Augie that I’ve had my worst experience here at save mart. He is rude, unprofessional, and lazy all of which are characteristics a cashier that deals with customers should not acquire.

Prior to entering the store, shopping carts are always disinfected. Some stores seem to always run out of wipes . This should be their priority Save mart employees are customer based , very friendly, and their revamp of the store is awesome. Second to none in employees and in product. Good job guys

I've shopped there for over 3 decades. Friendly staff, competitive prices. Just wish it was a larger store and included a bakery and deli section in the store, but tough to justify with the small local population base.Update: They now have a deli and bakery section, with many tasty options!

Tony is the best and nicest manager ever. He's helped me out a couple times, I've been shopping there for ten years, and no one has been nice and helpful to me like him in all those years. I'm thankful for him.

Pretty friendly and helpful on a regular basis. Very clean always. They offer a big variety to choose from and good quality. But like all savemarts theyre kind of pricey and tell u how much their sales will save you however the sales price is usually equal to the regular price of R&N. However I believe that is mostly because they are a franchise/ Union.

A bit pricey so I just try to stock up during good sales. The employees are knowledgeable & friendly. I give them 5 stars but the prices can be ridiculous. I prefer Save Mart over the other store in town but my Hubby won't shop here because of the prices. He doesn't follow the sales and such. I take a trip to Visalia every wk or 2 to get most things we need.

I had to pick up done last minute items for dinner and it was conveniently open late on Saturday night.The store is neat and clean and easy to find things in the aisles. They had a special on fresh corn 4 for 88 cents which was a bargain and we bought a dz and a half of corn. We also bought frozen deep dish pie crust to make pecan pies . When we waited in line a gentleman offered to check us out which was super. The line that was opened was 5 people deep so it was very much appreciated to be checked out quickly.

The store is clean, carts are available, produce is fresh and neat.There were two lines at checkout, needed three. Stay in one check or leave, going on break. Someone should have taken his place.

Recently remodeled & it looks fabulous! A bakery & deli were added which were much needed. Love the new refrigeration units! They are a modern, sleek design & class up Save Mart.

Really great in a pinch. Has a wide variety of products; pretty much the definition of one stop shopping. The employees are both polite and helpful. The store is easy to navigate. It has needed supplies (ie propane, firewood, etc...) for those camping in the area.

The first time since they remodeled. I guess I'm spoiled with my savemart in Mary's vineyard. My store never would have had the bad produce that this one had. My store has the friendliest employees where this store not so much. Oh well next time I'll drive a little further.

I love Save MART. The people who work there are great. They are friendly & professional. I buy all my meat & fruit & vegetables there. It's all fresh. I'm not sure of the hours (Save MART Exeter, CA). "Happy Shopping!"

Good, clean and friendly.Has all the basics covered.Meats, cheeses , breads, tortillas and all you beverages.The far rights side of the store is all vegetables and fruits.The isles are layed out without confusion.Plenty of checkout lines and this location is not that busy.Will be going back instead of the one on akers.

Horrible attitude throughout the entire Exeter store. Over priced still, but now without the quality that Save Mart used to offer. Just as the cashier suggested to the patron in front of me in line to do, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

The staff here is so loving and friendly. All you have to do is ask for help and they help you with your grocery needs. I love this place and love that they have Rosa Brother's Dairy milk. Be local and buy local means a lot to our small town of Exeter.

The cake I ordered for my Grandsons birthday was delicious, but I preordered a chocolate cake 21/2 weeks prior and ended up with a marble cake 😩 positive everyone except the birthday boy loved it.

Staff is always friendly and helpful. Store is clean and organized. But I wish they had a better organic selection and more "Really" good-for-you products.
