Sometimes it can be crowded at peak shopping times. Especially on weekends or before holidays. They are pretty good about having lots of cashiers available so once you get in line to check out it's a pretty good process. The cashiers and people working there are always friendly and helpful.

WinCo is an outlet supermarket. You will find a great selection of goods. Beware, you might not find the fancier products. Store is clean, and staff is polite. There are plenty of parking lots. Note that this store does not accept credit cards; it only takes debit card or cash. I recommend this store for your every day grocery shopping.

I used drive pass here all the time because outside didn’t look that inviting. I finally went in and was pleasantly surprised. They have a ton of conventional items and the store is huge. Not everything is super low priced, but if you know the costs at other stores, you can juggle what to buy here and what to buy at another store. Good to know it is employee owned. Overall the store and store front could just do with a bit gussying up to make it more appealing, even change out the bulbs in the signage:)Update: the bulbs have been changed!

We like Winco and shop at them where we used to live and when we travel. This Winco was one of the biggest and nicest ones we have ever been in. Went last night to restock our rv with produce and dairy. Produce prices were extremely inexpensive compared not to just other California markets but to Arizona as well. Did our shopping and checked out. We always pay by check as we do not carry cash and credit cards are not accepted. Their store policy is they will not accept out of area checks. The manager came over and offered to pay for our purchases which was really nice of him but we could not accept. We returned the next morning after finding an ATM and getting cash. Thank you to the manager and it was really nice to find a kind person.

While traveling we carry very little cash but from back home I know Winco doesn’t take credit cards but they take checks. This store would not take my out of town check! Extremely embarrassing and upsetting…. When a name brand store makes up their own ridiculous rules and you can’t count on them - the head cashier was very apologetic but could not override the rule without manager approval. Apparently there was no manager available. Had to shop Safeway and Walmart instead.

Today I go to shop at winco.Which on Monday?Is my special day.Alll though it's busy, I always bring refill bottles even if they're not wincos brand like South Fork.I tell the cashier every single time.These are refills to pay $0.38.The price of food is very expensive. The cashier Yea G. Not only ignored what i had to say.She charged me full price, when i let her know for 5 waters 4.90 this so unfair. She also held the lineup for the difference between bow tie pasta and a Lasagna.Not pasta, which was an honest mistake.No problem but then goes to my car and pulls a sticker off an old bottle of mine and charges me full price. I understand that they're trying to save money and they invest in their own place but this is ridiculous It will go out of my way now and shop somewhere else and let everybody know that this is the type of Of customer service. Thid is straight up wrong to consumer, when we are spending hundreds of dollars in that place. I will never go on her line because she's unfair and being unethical.She's worried about people stealing but stole from me by overcharging me

Great for a big grocery shopping experience if you need a little bit of everything. They have a self checkout for quick convenience when you just need a few things. This time of year it's a little busier than usual, yet the prices can't be beat!!! They also have a great selection of Christmas candy for stocking stuffers.

I stopped in to place on order for a birthday cake on thursday(just now) for Saturday. This is 6pm and the lone bakery person doesn’t pay me any mind until she’s leaving for lunch. Whatever ok I’ll call it in as she suggests. Well, they’re booked for Saturday, I couldn’t even order it for tomorrow pickup and just refrigerate it because now it’s not 24 hrs. Total brush off. Guess we’ll just try again some other year, right?

consistently ranked about number fifty on forbes best american businesses, winco foods choses to use barbaric methods to deter shoplifting in our vulnerable area. rather than use means similar to walmart with keeping products behind clear cases, winco would rather station security outside waiting to drag you back into the store as a temporarily physically but permanently mentally ill individual. even epd gives off the vibe that they are sick of them. i am figuring out what to do about this, but common consensus among young people in the area is that they are the worst. so.. ill see what i can do!

The most affordable supermarket in Humboldt County. And it's the size of Costco but way less crowded and much more helpful and friendly staff. And with NO membership fees. They take E.B.T as well. And the Restrooms are OPEN!😁

WinCo is a great place to stretch your grocery dollar. The store brands are surprisingly good in most cases. The deli is pretty good, but the bakery is flat out terrible. Someone brought a cake from there to my office and literally nobody could stomach it, even with the frosting pried off. The bulk section is very large, and has a good selection. Be aware that returns must be processed at customer service, which is usually very poorly staffed.

I used to love coming here but then they decided to cheap out on their new carts and they're not even a year old and they're all falling apart. It's anxiety inducing walking around with the thing clinking and clanking the damn time you're shopping. These carts get used so much especially in a store that's open 24/7! You'd think they would invest in good quality carts. Costco is still using the oldest carts possible and they as durable and easy to use as ever. I hate coming here now or opt to carrying things around in my arms to avoid using those atrocious carts 👎

Great prices for Eureka, but limited selection and tad higher prices relative to other Winco locations. Good bulk foods, deli, seafood, bakery and frozen sections. Not all Winco products present here, but some substitutes in named brands. Self bag, no credit cards, has a self check cluster not open at night. Lines often at regular checkout. Passive aggressive checkout from some checkers.

When it comes to certain items Winco is cheaper, period. However, other items are no cheaper than Safeway. So it helps to know what you're going for and planing ahead of time. That way you only get what you know is less expensive there. They're very large and have anything you could need from a grocery store. There's a huge, very chaotic parking lot. They also are next to a couple other very sought after variety of stores such as, Michael's, The Dollar Store, CVS, Subway, Cosmo prof, and Auto Zone is across the street, as well as a doughnut place.

I love WinCo. Best prices, variety, hours, and cheap pizza at the end. The go-to.I do wish the bathrooms were nicer and in the front instead of the back at the end.As a sensory sensitive person I also wish they didn't have harsh white lighting and loud things like floor cleaners and leafblowers all the time.The self checkout machines are quite loud too, it'd be nice to be able to turn off the function where it speaks out every item price and step.

WinCo has been a pretty decent store for us up until recently. I'm not sure what happened to their customer service but don't ever try and call their store if you left something at one of the registers because no one will answer your call, when they do. They hang up on you..

Decent prices even amid the recent increase in food costs. Always super crowded during the day. But since it's conveniently open 24hrs-a-day, I'll do my shopping late night to avoid all the people.
