They always have a variety of merchandise. They try to keep it organized & tidy. Their jewelry display has room for improvement. This thrift store has a constant flow of new merchandise & put new items out all day long.The staff is friendly & helpful. There are no dressing rooms. Electronic items are always tested if possible & are marked as such. You never know what your going to stumble across in this store.For the most part, prices are reasonable. For being used, I think their clothing prices are on the higher side. They don't price clothing individually. Long sleeve shirts are all the same price, sweaters are all the same price, etc... Sometimes I think the people pricing are not that knowledgeable about vintage, old, collectibles items & don't always take condition of an item into consideration when they are pricing.Visiting the Rescue Mission Thrift Store is always an adventure. I rarely walk out empty handed.

Of all the places in Humboldt, this is the most classic "thrift shop" feeling space.Pretty much have a little bit of everything, organized by type and great prices. Staff is always very efficient and friendly here!

All the items that they have are donations and all of them are pretty overpriced and being a thrift store and a rescue mission kind of misleading whenever it comes to the name and what they have as far as price items go but I know that if a tag is a month old then you get 10% off if it tag is 2 months old you get 20% off of a tag is 3 months old you get 30% off and so on and so forth as far as prices go that's a good way to shop there if you don't know any better.... I'm just saying they are obviously not going broke considering they're only open 3 days a week and they're busy as hell every day they're open ... And I see them getting donations by the truck load . Seriously gets under skin to see someone selling an item they got for free for the prices they do.

Rather recent change in pricing structure, used to be able to find things for great deals, now many items are priced well over over retail value. Fairly sad to see things go this way not really a Store worth visiting any longer, stay home and shop online.

The rudest & pickiest donation center I’ve ever encountered.I do not recommend ever trying to donate here unless you enjoy being bullied & condescended by the employees.Good luck to you!

Sizes were very unorganized. No rhyme or reason for the racks where they were placed. Very confusing. If we found something it was by accident. But staff was friendly enough and helpful regarding the jewelry case items. But the prices on those items along with the featured items being held on display were so poorly and inappropriately priced i just shook my head as to who was thinking what they had was even remotely worth that? I found prada sunglasses in the $1.00 section. Dont make me say how many thrift stores i frequent, and pricing i know. Disappointed.

Infrequent finds here. Not much donation quality. Prices can be reasonable to a bit high for donated goods and used clothing. Can be crowded at times. Occasional mentally ill customer. Staff is friendly and responsive. Good charity. I buy things here about half the time.

I love this store! There are always great little treasure's to be found at affordable prices....and I am assuming that the proceeds help the less fortunate. It's always fun visiting and especially when I have money to spend. : )

Huge store that I frequent 1or 2 times a month - not only is the clothing sorted by size, they racks & racks, for men, women, & children. Then there is household & kitchen needs, electronics, decor, bedding, curtains, and lots of furniture. Staff is fast & thorough. It just a great store for everyone

Not bad. The presentation of thrift store goods could be improved but they do get nice things in. The turnover rate is high giving it a steady variety of merchandise. The staff is friendly. They even have adequate parking.

I've never shopped there myself but I do donate a lot of my clothings that are almost always brand new never worn or worn once or twice only then it gets donated. I would recommend checking them out before shopping elsewhere to see if they have anything you would want or need at affordable prices. Plus you are practically helping the rescue mission do the work they do.

Nice selection of kitchen ware:dishes, cups.. on a good day you can find something awesome in the furniture and electronic section. Bought two chairs and all my plates and bowls here as well as small things for my house : cleaning rags, bed spreads, uniform/work pants.

I love this store!!!The people who work there are friendly and the man who Manages the place is Extremely Officiant, courteous and professional!He and his staff work hard in that Thrift store, that sells quality items at a great price.And ALL FOR A GOOD CAUSE!👌🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Yeah they have a very good selection of clothes and dishes in a few appliances and stuff like that sometimes I got some really nice stuff in there good to stop in there and check out what they have every once in awhile I just got a really nice rain jacket for $6 it's like a 30 $40 jacket like brand new

Fabulous place, really good deals on books; each day has a few categories of merchandise on sale plus clothing discounted every day. Two month old merchandise half price. Very friendly, accomodating staff.

The manager has asked to search me and my bag like all 7 times I have gone in there, now I understand we live in eurtweeka so the first 6 times I said yes, making a bit of a stink the last 2 times. U have had some health issues and therefore my weight has been fluctuating. Right now it is n a gain weight phase, do needless to say I have to try on a few different sizes every time I go in. Twice now he had told me not to come back to the store literally because I tried stuff on and bought nothing!?! Even though I neatly hung all of the clothing back where it went and talerated very nicely his need to search my purse(an illegal request I might add).I have NEVER felt so disrespected as I have in this establishment! The manager is rude and stuck up and looks down. His nose at those less fortunate.They are not willing to help those who need help and just want the money. One of my aquatences was soaking wet one day from a trewrentchle down poor. Rather then be dishonest and steal dry clothes, they decided to ask the manager for some dry clothing. The manager, Allen I believe is his name, refused said friend any of the "donations to people left to help those less fortunate"!!! I was appalled!!!!! Later that afternoon I over heard him talking about the nice digital camera somebody had donated that had made a perfect b-day present for his granddaughter, and how he LOVES his beand new hybrid vehicle!!!This business disgust me and is EXACTLY what's wrong with our society today!

Never shop at goodwill! It's a bogus charity and the CEO makes like 200,000 a year. Rescue mission thrift proceeds go back to the shelter and their staff is volunteer or paid very modestly . Prices are a steal and it's big so there's lots to choose from! It's my favorite thrift store of all time

Pretty big place used to be a grocery store ,lots of stuff from clothes to dishes ,I found a dresser and they loaded into my truck for me I had a great experience

Good thrift. Decent prices but nothing amazing, except it's like $1.99 for shoes. Only four items in the dressing room at a time which is kind of annoying but I guess I get it, it's in Eureka after all.

Selection is decent, but the prices are super good. They do thrifting right; keeps stuff cheap and move your inventory. When I went, it was a buck a bag for books.

I have always come in and enjoyed looking thru out the store..i have actually spent 3plus hours going thru and looking for things on my list...but what i admire the most is their willingness to give to someone in need..example..i had a young mother with a newbirn and a 5yr old..who father took and burned everything she had gathered for the new baby..she had nothing but the clothes on their back..i called asking if she could get some items but we had no money..and the store came thru and gave her a few items...THANK YOU RM for help...
