This supermarket was clean and the staff was friendly. On Saturday there was only one cashier open, but I didn’t need to wait a lot to pay for my groceries. This is a small supermarket, so you will not find a lot of options. The price is better than the other supermarkets in the area. But given the few selections they have I will not recommend to do your monthly groceries here. Parking is free and easily available.

Some items are okay, but some are not. The booze prices aren't bad, but most other items can be gotten for less with better quality at another large grocery store in Eureka. If you do go there make sure that you won't need to use the restroom. It is locked. You will have to get an employee to let you in and it's not very nice. I'mOn Tuesday seniors can get a little discount.

Affordable food can even get discounted health conscious food. Tales of public washrooms which comes in handy when shopping with a child.

Excellent deals. Some products are consistently stocked; others come and go, so get 'em while you can. Some of the produce is obviously old, but some stocked fresh. Great deals on blueberries and mushrooms, aged cheeses, hummus, salsa, meats. Good deals on wines and beer.Sometimes there is only one cashier, and the lines get a little long, but just have patience, the cashiers are really quick and efficient.

After lots of careful evaluation, I have decided that this is the single Worst Grocery Store in Humboldt County. That's not an easy title to claim, but somehow the Eureka Grocery Outlet manages to achieve a unique level of shopping horror. It is located in a really grimy part of Eureka, which is saying something. The store does nothing to discourage loiterers, panhandlers and other disreputable persons from aggressively confronting store patrons as they enter and exit the location. It's not unusual to see a line of people slumped along the exterior of the store.I have only stopped here when I'm in the area and need one thing. Somehow, whatever that one item is, they will not have it. Yesterday, it was vegetable oil. What kind of grocery store doesn't sell that? There is not ever any staff to ask questions of. It appears the store has a policy of never opening more than two checkout lanes at a time - and staffing those lanes with cashiers that almost seem to be moving in slow motion. You will find good deals on organic chicken, cheese, ice cream and chocolate here. Save yourself, go to Winco Foods.

Good but not great. Would be nice if there were more of a selection of "salsas" and in plastic containers. This being a port city with lots of RV travelers I probably don't need to elaborate on why plastic is better. Anyway good prices so I would return.I'm kind of surprised nobody gave me any trouble for coming in wearing an enormous empty backpack. I was even unshaven and a bit dodgy looking but nobody seemed bothered. Kind of surprised by all the complaints about discrimination I read in other reviews....I didn't see anyone following anyone around.👍

Great deals, great productsThe produce section can be a bit bedraggled, because the produce might be already old. And products come and go; there might be an item available one week, and it's not available the next week. Other than that, though, this place is a great resource. Staff are mostly friendly, the place is mostly friendly, and there are always wonderful deals to be had.

The Eureka Geocery Outlet was probably my worst Grocery Outlet visit. Wasn't very friendly or helpful. I had an item to return for my mom and she couldn't find the receipt so we anticipated doing an exchange, the item was only $3.99. When I got in the store the guy up front told me I could exchange it so I went and got some bell peppers and cheese (I actually wanted paper towels but couldn't find them, could only find the square ones not the rolls). When I got back up front the manager was called up to assist with the exchange in which she tells me only the store OWNERS can approve an exchange, which is ridiculous. The other Grocery Outlet in Mckinleyville has allowed us to do an exchange due to no receipt for an item that was $7.99 before. It was just really inconvenient and they could have made the decision as the "manager" for an item that's ONLY $3.99. The parking lot was also sketchy (it was night time) and they have a metal gate that covers the doors which was normal when I lived in Oakland but surprising to see it here in Eureka.

It's got all kinds of different products, but they are scattered around and aren't always there.

Sorry, but I had to knock some stars off for the fact that there are NEVER any shopping carts. This makes for a very frustrating shopping experience, and it also cuts down on the amount of stuff people will buy seeing as you only have the tiniest baskets available. At any given time, this location has about ten shopping carts and most of them are scattered throughout the parking lot with the lock on the wheel engaged. This is not conducive to enjoying a shopping experience.

Wow! Coming from EastCoast we don’t have these stores …but wow! Great wine selection at less than $10 per bottleAnd we filled up on snacks and some pre made salads for our road trip. They were fresh and well worth the price

Not the selection of some places, but clean little store that is fast to get in and out of without the crowds. They need some self checkout lanes.

It's one of the only stores in town to shop for food, Personally I liked it better when it was "Can Food Warehouse" After they remodeled and changed to "Grocery Outlet" it was never the same. They do have great deals on cereal, dog food and treats. It's really hit and miss. Sometimes they have good deals and sometimes some not so good.

It's hard to find consistent items here when it comes to grocery items but we keep an eye out for some of our family's favorite deals. Like vegetarian "chicken" nuggets and other snack foods and breakfast items. The neighborhood is a little sketchy but the staff in the store are always cheery and helpful.

The gentleman that owns the store is so polite, not one time. Have I ever gone in to Grocery Outlet and him not speak to me... At least ty. How's it going?...

I asked if I was allowed to use the bathroom. They let me in. Five minutes later they said that others were waiting to use it and I needed to get out. Nobody was waiting. They accused me of stealing. I did not steal. I suffer a condition much like tourettes syndrome. I began vocalizing uncontrollably, which happens when I'm stressed. The staff began threatening me and telling me I'd better shut up. I tried to calmly explain between vocalizations what was going 9n, but they weren't having it. They called police and I decided to defacate in the parking lot instead.Warning: Human feces in parking lot.

The store is pretty clean. Grocery outlet prices are great. The only issue is that you must look at the expiration date on perishables so that you can meal prep accordingly.

Ok place to grab a few snacks, as you pass through town. Lots of homeless loitering in the parking lot. Half of the people in the store reeked of weed. The food I bought didn't make me sick, so there's that. 😏

Good place to grab some deals on non-perishables in particular, but don't go with your heart set on a specific item because the stock is always changing. Staff seems stressed out, so please be kind.

Today, 7/10/22, is the 4th time I've been into THIS Grocey Outlet. I am a big fan of the one back home, Sonora CA.This location has disappointed me each time I've shopped here. The store is set up decent. The lighting is very dim. As I age, that's rough on the eyes - curse you Father Time! JkThe pricing is my biggest gripe. Today I went to 3 different stores; Grocery Outlet, Target and Safeway. Yes...if you're wondering, I apparently like suffering. LolI was able to compare prices, however, in real time. The prices at this location irked me so much I DID check the prices on what i purchased here against the other two stores. The point of Grocery Outlet is bargain deals, and really random off-the-wall flavored items you had no clue existed.Every produce item I got except 2, which was 7, was overpriced. I had a feeling but wasn't sure. Only the green onions were cheaper at G.O. The quality is always a smidgen lower, but we expect that with the bargain pricing that is supposed to accompany it. A bunch of bananas was $2.99 here (roughly 6 bananas). Target has them for $0.25 each. Peaches were $2.99lb here, Target had them at $1.49lb, Safeway had them at $1.99lb.The selections on their regular items is severely lacking too. I understand they don't have much control over most of their inventory. However, tin foil and a can opener you'd expect to be there.Dog food is pricey and there is very little. Maybe it's right before a delivery though. The employees are all very kind and helpful. My cashier was sweet and speedy. Called for extra cashiera when the line had 3+ carts. Smart. All in all... it's hard to even give this place 3 stars.Paying the same price as I would at a normal store, where nothing is possibly expired or on the verge, would be a better choice for the average shopper.

Love the bargains, BUT less and less low prices. I do stop by at least once a month but can't depend on getting what I need. But I always get something different to try.

Clean place. Lot's of changes. NEW, nice employees. I commend the deli girl. She's one of the best employees I've ever met. Showed true compassion for me. A customer having a bad day. Very rare. A true gem. Thank you grocery outlet. She's always stocking up tortillas at WinCo too. Nice person.

It has been decades since I have been to this store and a friend of my husband told us to get tapila fish here for he said it tastes better than winco's tapila fish. We will try it and maybe a better place to get our favorite fish.
