Love Galen’s work. He has strong attention to detail and easy to bounce ideas off of. I love his color work but I’m a huge fan of photo realism. I used to get tattooed by him in the bay area and now make the journey all the way to Eureka to continue getting work by him. Super clean shop too

My bestie and I went to get matching tattoos. Alejandro and Mary were so incredibly kind and flexible. We walked in on a Sunday afternoon and left with two beautiful script tattoos. Will 100% go back if I’m in town and have a hankering for another piece of art.

I highly recommend Bohemian Tattoo. Galen is an amazing artist! People always compliment my tattoos by him, and the most common comment is how great his line work is. He really pays attention to detail and it shows in his work. He also has a gentle touch which is a huge plus. My husband and mother in law both have gotten tattooed by him, and absolutely love his work! I can't wait for my next tattoo by Galen!

We called last minute for a two-fer tattoo. Not detailed and small. Fly by tattoos are never best case scenario. I enjoyed the ambience of the shop, the artists were super chill. A little heavy handed as it appeared it was not a super seasoned artist. Still quite pleased with the outcome, the price was steep. It’s also in old town Eureka so the price while steep is what I would expect for downtown artists. 7/10 recommend.

I had an awesome experience here and would not hesitate to recommend Galen to anyone. Galen does amazing work and is very detailed, my tattoo couldn't have come out any better. He is friendly and really listens to what you want and offers advice without being condescending, which is very much appreciated. The shop itself is also extremely clean and sanitary, and his pricing is fair. Galen did a wonderful job and made me feel comfortable and I will definitely be going to him for future tattoos.

Had my very first tattoo here and I couldn't be happier with my choice! I was very nervous and scared going in (I was quite afraid of the idea, but wanted to overcome that fear as well as get something I really wanted on my body), but both Shane and Galon made me feel relaxed and comfortable. Their artwork is fantastic and you can tell they genuinely care about what they are doing. They are easy to talk to, friendly, and very professional. Would recommend this place to anyone who brings up getting a tattoo, and I am definitely planning on getting more in the future from Galon.

I came in to get a 13-year anniversary present, 22nd of June. He canceled two appointments for family things. Cool, fine, right. He sends one picture of a mermaid. Like 3 weeks later. It should have been pinup girl-like, not little-mermaid-like and it needed fairy wings.. My wife n kid spent weeks drawing and designing tatoos from random pics online. Tracing it from printed pictures off a borrowed printer.Galen, (might have spelled that wrong, we didn't speak much), had sent one more picture over the next 3 months that looked like the same as the first. That's it, September 22nd. He hasn't kept in touch. He doesn't set any appointments. I live In Shelter Cove so that's 2hrs away. And he canceled those appointments that were set in the first three weeks, on the same day, for his family, so I was cool...but I still missed work, drove up there and lost money on food and for a tattoo artist who took my whole 200 dollar deposit. When I asked for just half of it back so we could call it even, he said no. One of the best tattooists in Sonoma county. There's so much that can be said about how Galen has mastered every style; from bringing life to the Rat Fink style, to the realistic portraits of people and animals. You really have to check it out yourself. I wouldn't take my business anywhere else.

He is a perfectionist, he worked with the stencil 4 times as it tapered around my arm. I couldn't see the back side he could have just gone ahead with it. His detail line work is precise an his artistic talent is beautiful
