I had a good experience here. Store seemed cleaned and organized. Cashier was friendly. For a small store I was impressed with the selection and I was happy to see organic products.It was pricey, but I figured you are paying for convenience. I wouldn't do my regular shopping here but it's great if you need something quickly, save time, and good quality.I'd definitely come back.

Rays Food Place is always a great place to shop. John, the store manager is consistently upbeat. All of the staff is courteous and kind. A special thank you to Wyatt in the butcher /meats department. I was in town and needed a shower, and Ray's sells shower tokens for the local park. $5 for 2 10-minute shower tokens, well worth and easily accessible!

My first impression of Ray's Food Place was nothing but exceptional. The friendly staff greeting customers upon entering. "Can I help you find something?" The welcoming smiles and elevator music playing in the background. The hot food section was closed this time, but it might be something to consider in the future. I only managed to find a grocery bag. A 5% discount guaranteed on all future purchases!

The staff was super friendly and helped me with my son who was having a fit - trying to distract him. The size of the store is small and I therefore prefer the Rays in Fort Jones but when I need something quick I go here as I like to support the local stores. Prices are on the higher side, if they were a little less I would probably buy a lot more here.

Good old standby in Etna, CA ...Prices are slightly steeper due to limitations of quantity for servicing a small town, but this is to be expected. They're continually improving their product selection and quality...also, the store is clean and recently remodeled. Sure beats relying on Dollar General!😀

Ray's is a good small town grocery store. It has a little bit of everything. Price on most things are higher than at a big chain, but you pay for the convenience. They do have sales, the produce is great and the staff is friendly.

Not too bad for a small town grocery. But the PCR hikers cleaned them out of ice cream and restock seems very slow for this day and age.

I am a PCT hiker and have shopped at Ray's several times in 2 days. The store is well stocked, reasonable prices and a very friendly staff.

The most over priced grocery store I have ever been to! It's a small store in a small town 30 miles from any other shopping so I imagine it's not easy getting the products delivered. But come on!! Nearly 6$ for a mini watermelon!! Nearly 4$ for a can of Campbell's soup!!
