I grew up in Esparto. Jack had a great local store. Next owner ruined it. This new owner has brought it back to life. Friendly staff, great selection for a small town store. Basically everything one needs is in it. 5 stars from a native of Esparto. Very glad new owner took it over.

I don't really talk to people but I grew up in this town my whole life and my great-grandfather grew up here my grandfather grew up here my dad grew up around here my mom grew up around here I grew up around the corner my kids grow up here with me and that's saying something and I remember when the store was owned by a guy named Jack and I remember going into the back as a kid into the bathroom where you had to go to the freezers and there's really something to be said about the history of this store and I think today it's the best it's ever been it has a lot of things that everyone needs on the day-to-day and even though it isn't as cheap as the Dollar General in town it always has the stuff I need and more on top of that they do accept all forms of payment including your phone payments with NFC but they also have a much better meat the deli and produce aisle then the town's had in a really long time.The only issue I have with the store is they are scheduled to close at 10:00 every day and you show up at 10:00 you will be disappointed if you show up at 9:50 you will be disappointed if you show up at 9:45 you'll probably be disappointed because they will be closed with a smile. I don't think that's egregious but it drops one star.

I come to this supermarket at least once a week. They have a butcher on-site and incredibly fresh meat and produce. The store is recently remodeled, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Great Produce, Conveniently located, Staff is Friendly, Meat Section is decent and not too terribly expensive, Beats Driving to Woodland, Clean! Beer and Wine sections are well stocked.

This store carries no produce, fresh meat or dairy. It is good for beer, cigarettes and ice cream, but check the dates. The wine is old. I just called to ask a question and the woman hung up on me because she didn't speak English. It used to be a nice place a decade ago. Please sell the store to someone who will provide goods and services.

Getting ready to change owners so not much on the shelves. I'd give it about a week to be up and running. The service is great. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

If you are in a hurry,check this place out,you won't have a wait here! The clerk that helped me was nice and friendly, when I asked where I could find different Items.Don't let the outside appearance keep you from stopping by, hey we all look different when we get older, stop in check them out.

To frikkkin EXPENSIVE, SHEESH, $6.50 FOR AN 98 OZ. PACKAGE OF JESUS. GALLO LOW QUALITY CHEESE? 4$FOR NALLEYS CHILI? IT'S 2 TO 300%. MARK UP,,, DISGUSTING! BUT THNE OWNER IS FRIENDLY,, FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH.... OH YEAH, 1.55 FOR BASIC CANDY BAR!

Beware of this store! They are very overpriced and often the products are outdated. Apparently the owners have multiple businesses and allow this one to be horrible in order to get a tax write off of some sort.
