This place comes in handy when you don't want to make the trip to woodla d, Davis, or vacaville. Everything you need to get you by until you make a major shopping trip. Although I've never seen more than 3 employees at a time, there's never a long wait to get through the checkout line. Shelves are much better stocked than some of the dollar generals in the bigger cities.

This was a life saver for me .on the road again!! Like usual, I went off the beaten path to Sacramento from Clearlake, Ca ... The help was wonderful. The store also it had everything I needed and more, especially the puppy goods. The gentleman Manny was much help ... thumbs up for this place .

I see people crying over the long lines, first of all this is Esparto and this is basically the only store we have here..it's sort of a trade off and not one to be taken granted. I love the coupons the company offers. I like they still have dollar items unlike the dollar tree. I like how the dollar general has a lite bit of everything to offer

The kiddo and I always find something cool here. They have reasonable priced food and basic needs like cat and dog food, laundry and health products. The bonus is the cool random stuff they have like toys, cards, art or paint supplies, fun keychains, makeup, DVDs and clothing/shoes. Their seasonal items are always fun! I recommend coming here and for the most part their employees are cheerful, helpful and efficient.It's a good store that I enjoy visiting when I'm in town.

It's close to home and you can get things in a pinch. The older guys and a lady were really nice but the younger crew now...are very non talkative are rather rude. There's no please or thank you at all and I was being nice. Maybe they should consider being in the back room instead. Lol

Very busy always only one checker. Prices change on the dairy case fooling me into paying more than $2.00 more for almond milk sour cream and milk when there's plenty left. So not cool

Dollar General as a variety of items to offer. Groceries, drugs, outdoor furniture, and many more. This store has a lot to offer. Opening just recently its customer market was ready and waiting and was in demand. Prices are fair, but if you want lower prices you should shop elsewhere.This Dollar General will be here for quite some time.

Place is great for forgotten immenities in a crunch. The staff are unfriendly and downright rude to out of towners stopping in. I have lived in the area previously for years and only work there now. I stop occasionally and get the same no greeting behaviors. I dont know why people are in the service industry to pick and choose who they are nice to. Smdh.

My first time in the store i was compleatly taken off guard i realized quickly i had known the manager fir quite sometime i actually a few problems with hi in ill try and pizza smiles be a stocking kind of situation he had contact me several times over Facebook and not only that he accused me of stealing from the store which with untrue that's why he didn't follow me I even offered to go back inside the store and show him exactly where I put down the items he was speaking of the he had not wanted any part of ithe called me a theif and he did not check my bag and then later on apologize for his actions through faccebook even claiming he never understood why i never liked him i felt compleatly uncomfortable and continue to have an issue with me every time I went to the store which is quite embarrassing and I would like to file a complaint against him and a few other employees that was told there is no other channels that I could go through to do so that this is the highest strength that I could contact so if I was given the wrong information I would really enjoy the correct information because I intended to follow through with what I thought was correct his name is Jared stotts I've known him a very long time could have handled things differently because like I said I offer to take him back into the store and show him exactly where I put the items I put him right by in a cell's section because I didn't have enough to pay for it what he did was embarrassing and I would like an apology if possible and and possibly a different attitude completely from your staff thank you Amber Bowman

the Dollar general is always a great store to walk into and see if you can pick up a few minor necessities for the house. It's also a great place to pick up snacks.

Dollar General in Madison was a fairly large convenience store. The clerks there were real helpful n very nice had a lrg vaariety of items & I was abke to dind transportation ropes

Dollar general is Dollar general. But the staff here are great and very helpful. Even when customers are rude to them. And its the CLEANEST dollar general ive been in. Its a fantastic store to have in Esparto.

The store has lots to offer the only thing i don't think is okay they have a deal every $25 you spend $5 off sometimes they deduct and some days they make it not valid only Saturdays no good👎
