5 star grooming experience! We just moved here from San Diego and was worried about finding a good groomer for my German shepherd.I had been going to Unleashed by petco...I'm absolutely amazed with how much better the service is at this PetSmart!Vanessa in the grooming department deserves more $ for her commitment to her clients.This was our first time going and the entire staff was friendly.Vanessa ensured my 88lb girl was well taken care of.I picked up my gsd with the best coat brushing I've ever seen.Great toe nail length for the trim, and amazing attention to her sensitive German shepherd ears.This store is truly lucky to have Vanessa as a part of the grooming team!Great store in general but best grooming department!

Very clean, friendly and welcoming store. Found everything we needed with great customer service. Got an email later welcoming our new pup to the family. The staff was exceptional. Was able to use our collected points for additional cash to pay for our purchase. Highly recommended location which cares about your pets.

We dropped our 8mth pup over at thanksgiving for a couple of days and she came back a deep gash in her hind leg. I called and reported the issue but it was of no use.

Very good experience with this store especially because this young lady super helpful and honest I will be coming again! This girl deserves a raise or bonus for going above and beyond! I think her name was Julie ? But here is a pic of her thanks girl !

Went in to get my dogs nails trimmed. They took great care with her as she has some sensitive areas. She came out looking perky and happy!

They wouldn’t accept my form or vaccine proof, unfortunately the vet I took my dog to is a smaller business and hand writes their information. I had called previously to my appointment to assure I could bring him into petsmart. Drove from 40 minutes away for them to tell me they couldn’t accept the proof of vaccine. Wish I could’ve prepared myself more for this but I don’t know how that would’ve helped.

Better than Petco well stocked with lots of selection sometimes it is hard to find help on the floor but other than that it's the best pet store around. Certain locations offer a Pet Hotel experience for your cat or dog.

My experience here made me want to do my shopping at different petsmart locations to see if I get the same great products and friendly smiles I got from this fine establishment. You shop here you have a wonderful time just make sure you sign up for membership it helped me alot and its FREE.

EXTREMELY TRAUMATIZED cat after staying 3 days at the Escondido Petsmart.I've used the Escondido Petsmart hotel 3 times previously with no issue but after this time I'll never go back. I'm 2,000 miles away so I had to call two friends to pickup my cat, she is so TRAUMATIZED and scared she will not even come out. Maybe today...There's a mean little woman with long black hair who has an attitude. She certainly hates animals.It needs to be fired.

I frequent the PetSmart store at E. Valley Parkway, and I have always been satisfied. As you walk in, you’re always greeted. I mean ALWAYS! The associates are polite, knowledgeable, and exercise excellent customer service skills. I like when a retailer shows me some appreciation for my purchasing from their establishment. I continue to return to this particular PetSmart because they really care about the customers and their pet family members. And don’t get me started on the price value of products that satisfy my fur babies! We’ll be here all day!

The store was well stocked, tidy & clean. They had great prices too! The cashier was friendly. She took the time to re-ring my items in order to sign me up for their treats club, so I would get a 25% discount. Really appreciated that! Way to go PetSmart!

When I call to set an appointment the staff is very polite and answer all my questions. They are most accommodating with trying to get you in. I had to change my appointment because my little dog got bitten by two bulldogs they showed care with there words. And reschedule to accommodate him. They place looks clean.

Took my dog to to stay here for one night. They had a red collar around her before we left with her name on it. Got a call later that day saying they took her to vet because she was throwing up blood. I get it’s procedure and glad they were able to take care of her, however, it wasn’t blood. My dog must’ve felt uncomfortable with the red collar around her and she ended up biting it off and accidentally swallowing it, which exemplifies how much they actually watched her because she could’ve choked. How do I know it was the collar? She threw it up again when we took her home and have photos. It was too obvious it wasn’t blood. It’s also normal for dogs to throw up and what not when they get nervous. Must’ve been an environment where it made her feel uncomfortable or nervous. Either way this has never happened to her when we took her to a different dog hotel. Huge liability here for this location at Petsmart. I never write reviews whether they’re good or bad, so it’s pretty disappointing typing this. Don’t take your dogs here.

They took care of me on several occasions in regards to a price match and price discrepancies over the years. More recently I was watching them handle an unruly customer and they handled it professionally. I've never had any issues with the team there, they're always present and willing to help.
