Such an incredible store that is wide aisles. They have many options and they will price match, from a phone coupon. The manager and employees were so incredibly kind and went into the back to break my $100 bill, right after they opened. I was so grateful. The store was extremely clean, too. Good store to go to.

Came here for the first time, I was going to rescue a cat and wanted to make sure I had everything necessary. This would be my first cat, the staff was very helpful and they had everything I needed. They also gave me a 25% discount for first-timer. Thank you Petco.

Clean and well stocked. Helpful associates ready to assist you with your shopping list. The only con was in the reptile department. I purchased some superworms for my Bearded Dragon but on arriving home I found only 3 in a container listed as having 12. I called immediately and the person helping me assured me that a full refund would be given . I was pleased but had not planned on an additional trip back to the store. So inspect your feeders before you leave. I will the next time I shop at Petco. I gave 4 out of 5 ⭐

Worst haircut shes ever had. Actually questioned if they treat the animals well. She didn't even smell like she had a bath. I work a lot, i was able to call and go there on my first day off 5 days after her cut and was wondering if i can get my money back and i told him i was worried about the treatment. He asked me why i didn't say anything when i picked my dog up. I was in a hurry on my way to work. I didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings or say how ugly the cut was. As the days went on it bothered me more and more. People asked why my dogs hair looked like that. I called to ask for money back and report it. He said maybe they could re touch her haircut but i don't trust leaving my dog there. No money back because i didn't say anything right away.

The store was having some great sales on some of my pups favorites. The store was stocked very well and I was able to come home with arms full of treats for my 4 pups. The cashier was very friendly and I wish I had gotten her name. And BTW I love the employees t- shirts - you should sell them, I'd buy the one with the pup on it! :)

Please double check all food products before purchasing. Never had this problem until today. Food was expired ten days ago. Went back to switch it for another and turns out that specific brand food was ALL expired. Workers gotta Step up on checking them, doesn’t matter if it just got shipped to the store , CHECK THEM!!!! Could have made my fur babies sick if I didn’t catch it on time !!!!

Your location and hours are convenient for me plus you have the items I need in stock. It also helps that the Petco app shows timely promotional discounts, rewards, and even buy one, pay later plans like Klarna one can check out with to stretch one’s budget. I like too how I was able to find unique holiday gift items while I was there instead of me having to drive to different stores. Thank you, Petco of West Valley Parkway in Escondido, for being worth the drive any time I go:)

I went to the store to buy a guppy fish and the employee didn't want it for me green because the fish tank was very small when clearly the fish tank was right for the only two peses I have and it's something very unfair because I think the fish tank was big enough for two peses of about two centimeters

Management has not fixed flicking lights in there for over 6 months. Warning for anyone with seizures: Do not go in the store. There may be a potential lawsuit coming over ADA if that's not fixed. Everyone is nice.

When I went to Petco it was actively under construction but the selection was still ample and the employees were incredibly helpful. I went in search of a betta fish and they had an extensive variety of not only betta fish but betta fish accessories. The staff was knowledgeable and help set me up with everything I would need to take care of my fish. My one gripe is that compare to online shopping Petco is expensive. For stuff you absolutely need today I would highly recommend you go to this Petco location.

They treated me and my Dottie well! I used self service doggie shampoo. I had several of my own doggie products and purchased one more from them. One very, kind, gentle, staff member help my 15 year old girl up. The cashier was very exuberant as well. They are for real!!!

Terrible experience every visit. The people who work the cash registers are extremely rude. I’ve encountered Andrew several times and he is a complete smarta$$ each and every visit. The store needs an attitude adjustment. My work takes me to various areas around the city so I avoid this location if at all possible. All the other locations are super helpful and super nice.

I've raised several hamsters from this location and each time the employees have been very kind and helpful with showing me the hamsters they have. They currently don't allow customers to touch the pets due to covid, and the hamsters aren't as used to human touch because the workers themselves don't usually touch them unless needed (due to covid) . I did have one instance where a hamster died within 2 weeks after I purchased it. I have raised about 9 hamsters throughout my life so it was treated well. I brought my receipt back to Petco and they honored it and allowed me to get a new buddy.
