We ordered a vanilla custard filling and white buttery cake for a wedding. They were good to get us with short notice. The service is great, it's a cute place with all kinds of different cakes for all kinds of events, cupcakes and other swags. I highly recommend this place for your special moments. They do have special pricing on their products based on which day of the week you visit. Check it out you will love it.

Cutest birthday cake, and the most wonderful staff.A bit overpriced which is usually fine but in this case, chocolate quality was great but whatever nutmeg tasting spice used smacks you in the senses and takes away from the chocolate. The tres leches was a bit dry both the cake and the cupcake. The lavender honey cupcake was AMAZING.Will go back!

Chose Cute Cakes as the bakery for my wedding this past year. I would highly recommend this place for any couples searching for a delicious, high quality and affordable wedding cake and desserts. I worked exclusively with Logan for months to carry out my husband and I’s dream cake and hash out the details for dessert. We worked a lot to get the design we liked and to get the price that worked with our budget. Highly recommend getting a cake and dessert tasting, yummy authentic and delicious desserts and it really helps you to figure out what you would like as a couple at your wedding. We ordered our wedding cake through Cute Cakes and it was exactly what we wanted! We tried all of the flavors at the bakery and everything was so good. We were able to choose 3 different flavors for a 2 tiered cake and a sheet cake. The staff at Cute Cakes were very friendly and helpful throughout this whole process. The decorated cake was exactly what we wanted and was delicious! Highly recommend!

We ordered our wedding cake tasting from here and it was delicious! When I went to pick up, staff was working VERY a hard (Valentine’s Day) it was nice to hear their constant communication as they shuffled through an endless line of customers. I ordered some cupcakes while I was in line also and the flavor choices are so fun and diverse.Ultimately deciding to move forward and order or wedding cake from here :)

2023: you can have dessert and coffee here in Escondido, CA. You can order serious fancy cakes here for special occasions. Just reviewing the coffee/ snack aspect. We went with some cupcakes and the salted pretzel caramel cupcake released my endorphins. Since we ate in it was nice to get a the coffee in real cup instead of those paper styrofoam things. They need more staff. This was a Saturday. They have a fireplace which was a nice touch.

Best place to order your wedding cake!! They delivered it to our venue 20 min away and we’re on time the day of. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the vanilla with strawberry filling. Ordered our cake topper from Etsy. And improvised for the flowers and used 2 leftover corsages since we forgot flowers for the cake. But it turned out so cute!!! They are all so friendly here. I recommend coming in for a tasting. It’s so cozy inside this place. Great place to study and have a coffee and a sweet!! Thanks cute cakes!!

What started with an anniversary party turned into the big wedding reception we never had and this cake DELIVERED.They were able to take the inspiration photo and make me the most charming vintage-inspired cake with perfectly executed piping and delicate little pearls.And this cake was out of this world delicious. The cake itself was so moist and the rum filling and velvety buttercream were amazing. My husband and I couldn’t stop eating the leftover cake in the days following our event.

My sister in-law ordered from here for my niece’s birthday and I had the privilege to pick it up. We ordered the unicorn cake and cupcakes. Arrived on a Saturday before closing around 3pm, thankfully there was street parking. The store front itself is really cute, I loved the décor. I wish I had more time to look around and maybe order something to try but I had to be back to get the desserts in the fridge before she came home. I enjoyed watching ladies playing mah jong at a table! I also had someone help me with my order to the car. I have to be honest and say I wasn’t sure how to transport the 5 tier cake back again, I was thankful the employee was able to help me well, not entirely. When I got back to my destination the cake had leaned over at least it was on the side rather the front. The other reason for a missing star would be the very blue icing left stained lips on everyone, I know these maybe for the kids but its was a very intimate celebration with mostly adults. The flavor was good, although very very sweet. Thank you for the cute dessert my niece enjoyed.They have outdoor seating for you and your pup! Dog Friendly!

The team at Cute Cakes knocked it out of the park! I wanted to do a Jersey Mike's Subs themed cake for a party with my team and brought in a sample bag and two Giant Subs to recreate as a Cake! ....and they delivered these awesome replicas!!!! My mind is blown!!! I'm just in awe of how identical it looked like the real thing and the taste was stupendous! Great Job Cute Cakes! Thank you Sara, Kristine and Team! WOW! We tried them out for a wedding cake tasting and they had a table reserved with your name and date on it. Sara was our cake aficionado and she was excellent. She went over each cake and dessert in our tasting, answered all our questions and they were very accommodating. The cakes and dessert we're delicious and well worth the drive! (We're from Phoenix, AZ). Highly recommend for anyone looking to sample a cake venue - not just for a wedding but any special occasion.

Our original wedding cake vendor had merged with Cute Cakes Escondido. To be frank, I was pained that we had to drive out much further than anticipated and also because I had learned last minute about the merger but that was the extent of my concerns.Kanani(sp?) seated and greeted us. We were given a thorough run down of all our options. My sister and I ordered some English breakfast tea and was sweetly surprised with how authentic it tasted.(we're from England, if that helps anything) She went above and beyond to help me with questions and ideas. Even as far as printing out images of rental products that weren't readily available. Despite the gloomy weather, having some cake and tea that day really made it a cozy moment to take a break from all the wedding planning stress.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free optionsParking: Was a little tricky to get to the parking lot. Probably because it was our first time and they had one way streets.Wheelchair accessibility: There is an accessible parking spot in the back of the shop. Even though it was occupied there were other spaces available.

Cute Cakes Bakery is a...cute place. It's a coffee shop, cafe, and bakery all in one fairly large place. Decided to stop in here because of the good reviews and pick up some cupcakes for a birthday.Decor and all was very good. Love the custom wrought iron Cute Cakes fence around the outside.Service seemed friendly enough, but a bit lacking. The gentleman that helped us, I do not remember his name, was distracted or not using his full mental capacity that day. Had to repeat ourselves multiple times when ordering, and was just slow in general. Our order was 6 cupcakes from the case, plus a cake ball. It wasn't until we left and were miles down the road, that we checked our order and noticed the cake ball was nowhere to be found. He forgot to put it in the box. Before turning around to go back, we checked the receipt. Luckily, he hadn't changed us for it either. So, we called it a wash and decided not to go back.As for the cupcakes themselves, they were disappointing. They were heavy and dense, and seemed moist at a glance. But when actually biting into them, something was off. They were dry in the mouth, but didn't appear that way in physical appearance. Just odd. Flavors were okay. Red velvet was red velvety and the chocolate was very chocolate. Icing was way too sugary and sweet for our tastes. And very grainy. Either not prepared right, or just using regular sugar instead of powdered sugar. The peanut butter icing on the one cupcake hardly tasted like peanut butter. Very disappointing.I can't really recommend the place. Maybe it was an off day, and others will have better experiences. But we won't be coming back.

My wife and I loved our wedding cake from Cute Cakes. After our tasting—they provide six generously sized cake slices for you to try—we chose their chocolate ganache cake with a marshmallow fondant and vanilla cream custard. The cake was so tasty and moist and we received a lot of compliments for it from our guests. As for the Cute Cakes team, they are responsive and professional and made things really easy for us. I would highly recommend working with this company for your wedding or any dessert catering needs!Dietary restrictions: They were very accommodating to my nut allergy and our vegan requirements.

Better late than never, our wedding was March of 2019.If you are on the fence on doing a tasting, do yourself a favor and do it. It’s a SWEET little must have experience, especially at Cute Cakes. Looking for something that's not on their original list, ask. We requested as part of our tasting, a funfetti cake. Glad they accommodated us because that's what we went with. Funfetti with Vanilla Custard, with the top tier being a Red Velvet Cake. I am no fan of Red Velvet, my husband is, but I thoroughly enjoyed this one. During our tasting we met with McKenna who started drawing and helped us envision our cake. I had a couple ideas with the tiers and she was able to suggest what would look best. We knew after we left we were going to move forward with Cute Cakes. From then until the wedding there was only one part of the cake that needed to be settled in regards to some fondant flowers. Communication and responses were quick so I never had to go back in for this. I knew I was in good hands. Day of the wedding our cake turned out how we asked and just as equally amazing was how good the cake was! My sister is picky and commented that it was “The BEST CAKE EVER”. The night was long and I wish I could have enjoyed more of the cake. Thankfully, they are a cafe, as well that we can visit where we not only can get cupcakes in those flavors but were able to order a mini recreation cake for our 1 year. It was executed beautifully and tasted as amazing as all our guests told us. See attached photos.
