I would leave 0 stars if I could. The reviews are unfortunately spot on. Do NOT come here, they will jeopardize your health through incompetence, and then do zero to help you. They attempted to send my prescription to an insurance I don't have. I corrected them, they decided not to help remedy their error, and let my prescription disappear into the mist. You guys are directly effecting my health, and i am sure others as well. Shut down your pharmacy until you can provide minimum services.

Extremely rude old woman there named Connie. She didn't know how to do her job n yelled over me everytime I tried to speak or explain anything. Unreal. Only reason a person acts like that is because their boss acts like that too. She told me to circle the lot a few times and walked off. I sat their half hour before a different pharmacist heled me and knew her job. They called me and told me my meds were ready. Get there and before I can speak im being yelled at and spoken over so many times i just stopped and waited for this belligerent rude woman to stop speaking. They need a lesson in respect and also learn their job. No reason to be acting like this.

Walgreens Cooperate needs to look into operation of this location!I have never seen so called customer service as bad as this location. They have little knowledge of products and NO sense of how to deal with customers, finally I had enough and changed my pharmacy, although I pay more but it worth it!

Believe the negative reviews! I gave the pharmacy a chance and regret it. It’s too difficult reaching anyone by phone and the lines in person are slooow. They’re often rude on the phone and not much better in person or the drive thru. (Only one woman is helpful. I don’t know her name but she had on a Seattle Challengers sweatshirt.Most of the general store employees aren’t much better.

New & a wonderful spotless place for all of my needs! They just opened & I think the competition has all these bad reviews 😂😂 anyway they are very professional with excellent prices to say the least.

They believe in customer prevention not customer service. Miserable employees. Everyone in the pharmacy acts like they're doing you a favor. Walgreens paid 4.5 billion for Riteaids. Maybe the money would have been better spent training and staffing Walgreens personnel and to pay them livable wagesOpen the drive thru at the very least so sick people aren't forced to stand in line. Ridiculous management for YEARS at this locale

Harissa in the Pharmacy is the type of employee every business owner wants. I called with two different issues, needing help, and she went out of her way to take care of me.She mentioned that the drive-thru was closed for the day due to staff shortages.When I pulled up 20 minutes later, the drive-thru was open. And when I gave my name, she introduced herself, explained what she had done to get me my prescriptions, and, although I could tell she was managing several things that day, she was totally warm and pleasant and efficient. And that really sets her apart..,AND Walgreens! Thank you!

I switched from CVS to Walgreens a few years ago and had faster and cheaper prescriptions. Today horrible customer service, never answer the phone and they dont call to tell you if a prescription you had is not in stock. Having surgery tomorrow and can't even get them to answer the phone for a pharmacy to transfer the out of stock medicine and now may potentially gave to cancel my surgery tomorrow. I know its not the workers fault they are completely under staffed and its a management issue. Transferring all my prescriptions out of Walgreens

I really like this Walgreen's. They are always helpful, esp. with insurance, and I only rarely wait. They are never rude, btw

If I could provide a zero star rating, I would. The staff at the pharmacy here are rude, exude a general dislike for customers and the wait times are egregious. Horrible! Avoid if possible

Waiting in line is expected but to hear an employee (who looks homeless) say, "Everyone go home, we're closed for the day," is disconcerting. I found myself biting my tongue as well as being patient. Ugh. I feel sorry for the pharmacist, a professional shouldn't be represented by crass employees. HR needs to read their reviews!

They are so overwhelmed here it is sad. I had a 7pm appointment for vaccination and i stood in line waiting for 20 minutes. All I could hear was staff raising their voices with customers and vice versa. Terrible experience and it is sad that the staff is put in this position by the management. I will do my best to never come back to this location.

Same experience as others. Calling in a prescription for a patient and the pharmacist continued to just pick the phone up and put it back on hold. I thought I was disconnected the first time (after being on hold 10 minutes), but now that I've been on hold for another 15+ minutes, its obvious what is going on here.. starting to lose faith that they will ever pick up the phone....

They earn there 2.3 stars. The old lady in pharmacy has as much kindness and empathy as a stinky wet rag. They seriously should fire her. I had just gotten outta surgery and she was so rude I called all my meds In 12 hours prior and they still couldn’t get it out. The pharmacist was decent but the women with glasses I genuinely can’t believe she works in pharmacy. I’ll definitely be taking my business elsewhere

They are extremely slow and are doing nothing to improve. Line inside waiting for prescription was extremely long so decided to try drive thru. Only 2 cars ahead of me yet took over 30 minutes. Go to any other pharmacy.

The staff at this Walgreens pharmacy are the worst. Unbelievably unhelpful and rude. I’ve been waiting for a prescription refill for 3 weeks, when I spoke with my insurance they told me it’s because the pharmacy didn’t contact my doctor to get an authorization. During these past 3 weeks, the pharmacy has been giving me a variety of different excuses as to why my medication was not ready, then it turns out they just didn’t want to make a routine phone call, which of course was never a reason they stated. I consider this to be not only lazy on their part but also incredibly irresponsible. If I could give negative stars I would. I still don’t have my medication.

Unfortunately my medical plan is with Walgreens Rx and the Encinitas Walgreens is the closest by far from where I live. I have never had a good or decent experience with them! My prescription was called in by the Hospital Emergency Room doctor at 8:00pm on Thursday night. At 2:30 pm Friday I drove up to the window to pick them up. I was told that I would have to wit 40 minutes because the medicine was in the ‘safe’. I was unable to wait due to obligations and I left. Just minutes after I left I received a text that my prescription was ready. Because I don’t drive and text I received the message once I returned home.So I called and after waiting on hold For 9 minutes the call was picked up then immediately hung up on me.I called back and waited 5 minutes only to be told oneOf the prescriptions was ready SO WHY didn’t they give it to me when I was at the window?Never have I experienced friendly or compassionate employees at this locationAnd obviously not competent either!!!!!

Nope. Was forced to transfer to them as Pharmaca went out of business. Called them and after being on hold almost 10 minutes---I could hear the pharmacist literally pick the phone up and put it back on hold---I'm done. I do not recommend ever using this pharmacy.

Pharmacy technician Ryan is rude and extremely slow. He really didn’t show any sense of urgency or empathy knowing there are several people waiting. Made me wait in a long line twice knowing I had been there and was waiting for confirmation.

Steer clear.The incompetence here is mind numbing. Long lines in-store, long waits at the drive-through. I was a Walgreen's customer in NY for many years and never had a single issue. At this Walgreen's I have NEVER had a prescription or a refill done correctly without a phone call. And every phone call requires a minimum of 20 minutes on hold. If I could easily move my prescription history, I would. To anyplace else. Stay away.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever experienced. I’m a physician and it is near impossible to get through to leave a prescription. I have never had a more lazy, poor experience in my 23 years of practice. I can’t believe Walgreens leaves their name in this store. I was on hold for 20 min trying to get a medicine ordered for a patient and they kept hanging up on me. It’s remarkably bad. I’d avoid this store at all costs. Head for open water…

I spoke to a pharmacist Parisa on the phone and she explained to me that I could come in and pick up a prescription on June 17th after 12:00 pm. I drove 40 minutes away and brought my 6 month old to pick it up. Initially, the person told me 20 minutes. Then another pharmacist Theresa said that I couldn’t pick it up until tomorrow. I told her that another pharmacist told me I could pick it up today after 12:00 pm. I had to wait for Parisa to get back from lunch. She got back, after I waited 20 minutes with my baby and said I had to come back tomorrow.I have been filling here for years. The new pharmacists and staff are inefficient and rude. Parisa and Teresa don’t seem to be efficient and they don’t understand how to run an effective pharmacy. I moved my prescriptions to a different store permanently.

It's nice to be able to pick up prescriptions at drive through. If they ask you if you've taken the medication before just say yes unless you have any questions or concerns. Otherwise they say hold for a pharmacist and put the phone down so you can't object and the wait is longer for everyone in line.

Disgrace. Scheduled appointment for Covid test online. I show up and drive through is closed - a sign is blocking it. I call store and wait on hold for a while. Then their system hangs up on me. So much for honoring appointments. Meanwhile I needed test today and it's very hard to find another place on a Sunday afternoon without having already made an appointment.If they decide to close for a bit, at least call. They had my number. They obviously just don't care.Less important - the store is run down and dingy. I hope the prescription area is clean.

Surprised this place has 2.5 stars, should be one. Went to buy an item on sale for $39.99 online, normally $44.99. Manager on duty would not honor Walgreens.com online price. I could even select in store pickup for THAT location and have the item ready in 30 minutes. I didn’t have time to wait so I paid the higher price. Talk about extortion, shame on you Walgreens. I will look forward to NOT patronizing this location in the future, how nice, there is a CVS across the street….

This used to be my go to pharmacy. But now, horrible. I tried calling today (because I was sick and knew I could not wait in store for an answer) and I tried for 2 hours and never got through. On hold three separate times, twice getting cut off and then I finally gave up.Finally went to the drive through and was met on Thursday evening 1/17/19 at 7:15 (she said she was the only pharmacist there, so should not be hard to figure out who she is) and she was SO rude to me! Everyone has always been so nice here. What happened to this sweet local Walgreens on the corner.

My Rx provider would not support my Rx refills from Walmart. So I was forced to transfer my Rx to Walgreens. The lady pharmacist took down all the details for it, xferred it from Walmart and mentioned that the med is not available at the pharmacy & that they would have to order it & that would happen next Tuesday. Next Tuesday came & gone. The whole week passed & no meds. So I called in, this time a male pharmacists responded & he said the Rx is ready but there are instructions to ship it to you. But he can’t do it as I have to enable it via my app. But he will try to override the system this one time to ship it quick as I’ve been out of my meds now for 3 weeks. And the courier has already left for the day so it will be shipped out on Tuesday. Again this Tuesday came & gone. The whole week passed but no meds. So I called in again, to speak to another lady pharmacist. Now she’s saying, there’s no Rx ready, & we don’t have enough in stock, so I’m gonna need to order it. It will take 1 week & I will ship it to you on Tuesday week after. What is all this?? Is this normal with Walgreens? If my Rx had not cost $400 co-pay after insurance; I would have never switched 😡

Seriously the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. It's dark and dirty and every time I've been there it's been some strange stressful situation with prescriptions. This last time I waited in line behind 9 other people and just as I was almost to the counter the power went out. Nowhere else in the vicinity, just this weird black hole of a pharmacy. They made everyone leave the store including a woman with a 4 year old that had been trying to get her daughter's vital prescription for 2 days. She had the prescription in her hand but they wouldn't let her pay for it and made her leave not knowing when she'd be able to get it. Absolutely horrible
