I'd give it 5 stars, but they keep discontinuing stuff I like!!This is a great store, and I realize how great it is when I don't go for a while.Interesting unusual food, as well as staples at a good price with great quality.It's super fun to explore this store, especially around the holidays!

TJs is what you would expect from their brand. Cheap prices decent food and the staff is always pretty nice. Most of the food in the central isles was made in Dexter's lab but you should know that if you shop there

Another disgusting Trader Joe’s stores. Goes to show how anti-union activities backfire. As like most Trader Joe’s stores expect a product you buy to be recalled for health or safety. Don’t buy from TJ’s if you care about your family’s health

Great location tough parking lot lot of self entitled Karen’s and Ken’s who have zero patience be careful look both ways you may be run over before making it into the store but that’s not businesses fault , Encinitas is affluent area and some feel they have the right to cut you in line or rush to take a parking spot you were waiting for .

First time shopping at this location this morning. It appears to be a larger format than others in the area, which is a good thing. Parking is plentiful and inside the aisles are wide and easy to navigate. It was easy to find the items I wanted and checkout was friendly and prompt.

Love the staff at this store! Most of them know me by face and name. I always feel welcome & at home when shopping at this location. Management is doing an excellent job ensuring all the isles are stocked and have a friendly/caring approach when speaking to their staff. I can tell they treat each other like family and it makes the shopping experience 10 times better. I’ve been to many Trader Joe’s locations in SD and this is by far my favorite. We love this location in Encinitas. Trader Joe’s has been a hot area to shop for years and I would say that the prices bring people back. With the price of dairy products in other grocery stores, you can find good quality options here. I have been to larger TJ stores in other cities and this one is more compact but, they manage it well. It helps to be extra patient when shopping because of its popularity and smaller size. I have always appreciated the management and staff. We are vegetarians so we don’t know about the meat protein selections but, I would say we are in and out more than once a week. It is better than anywhere else in Encinitas.

Always worth the tripThe only newer point to raise is that likely because of the pandemic there are things that were once always available that in the last year are never in stock any longer. Still worth the visit!

This Traders Joe is up there in terms of total square footage and quality of decor. Often times Trader Joe’s can feel cramped, the shopping rushed and anxiety prone. This store, not the case. One feels the urge to take their timel, mosey even. As we moseyed the aisles we were taken by the smiling faces of the staff and their shelf stocking technique. The girl in the cereal aisle was no slouch with her exactly knife. Truly magical. Thank you, Trader Joe’s, for being beacon on the hill. The lighthouse in the storm. The cats meow. I would even go so far as to say the bees knees. Yep. Knees. So yeah. This store is great.

This is my favorite Trader Joe's as it's my hometown grocery store. The employees are friendly and always helpful. Pablo is a sweetheart and Jason is always kind and welcoming. I love that they rotate their food every couple days so you know the breads are fresh and the produce hasn't been sitting for days and days. I love that they don't constantly change the layout of the store, leaving you lost and bewildered where that thing you love now lives in some new sector of the store. Parking is easy and the plants are healthy and live a long time if you take good care of them.

While the selection is varied and interesting, the parking lot is terrible. You're either parking far away and walking over or you're trying to shoe horn your car into an awkward spot while lots of other cars jockey for position around you. I, frankly, avoid going here just because of the parking. Though on the rare occasions I go in, I find the employees cheerful and helpful.

Trader Joe's is one of my favorite places to shop. Staff here is always helpful and friendly. They always have samples to try items which I love and usually end up buying. I love their wine selection and have yet to be bummed by a brand (even the cheap ones are beyond decent). Their beer selection is wonderful as well. I like to take advantage of their make your own 6 pack. Be warned though, the only real negative is their parking lot can be an adventure (especially during the midday to afternoon) and test of one's patience. But again, that is a testament to how it's a great store, busy parking lot.
