Order pickup is a joke plan on waiting hours and hours for your items and then plan on either not getting all your items or receiving other people's items. Not once, not twice, Not three times but four times now they have they messed up. Also, incredibly rude customer service!

I went in for milk and a couple other pantry staples. The milk I wanted was on the very top shelf and there were only three left, pushed against the back wall of the cooler. Completely unreachable. No employees around to help. I finally asked another shopper who was walking by for some help. Even he could barely reach them. I received a survey this afternoon about my experience. The questions were more about whether or not I felt comfortable and the ‘inclusiveness’ of my experience. Note to retailers… Stop worrying about how much the mannequins represent the community and whether I saw people who looked like me represented in the store, and pay attention to your stock and customers needs. We come in to buy milk, not to critique and make a check list of the in-store advertisements and color and sizes of your mannequins.

This is got to be one of the nicest targets I’ve ever been to in my life. Very clean well set up this one has more of an open concept. Hard to explain but this one genuinely feels larger than others I have been to. can’t go wrong here. We’ll done!

Jerry at the customer service counter is AMAZING! So sweet and always kind! He goes above and beyond to make sure every customer leaves with a smile on their face and that's very hard to do these days! This store is also super clean which is a plus! Thank you Jerry for always being so kind, helpful, and making every target pickup painless and enjoyable! You are the best!!

Ordered misc items around 3 in the afternoon while I was at work so I could pick it up on the way home. Arrived at 6 in the evening and the order still wasn’t ready. I walked in to ask customer service (because I guess they can’t answer their phone) and they were all just standing at the desk doing nothing and proceeded to tell me that my order (literally just chips and beer) could take up to six hours to fill. For what? Idk, they wouldn’t tell me. Lazy.

0 STARS-The lady at guest services told me they don't refund lego products which i had never heard of and of course when i call corporate they tell me that they do refund lego and that they don't know why they would tell me that!!! I then went and returned the same product at a different target with no problem! I wonder why i would get refused at the Encinitas target known for being blatantly discriminating through the community.

This Target is well organized and clean, it has lots of goodies for Halloween and Christmas decorations, staff has always been helpful and friendly when we ask for help.Frugal prices, self checking machines, clean restrooms and a Starbucks store are all here.The store is located in a large shopping center with plenty of parking spaces.

Nice store. Well lite and clean with plenty of inventory. Check out was terrible. Only 2 employees were to check out customers, creating a long line and a backup at self checkout. Not a pleasant ending to otherwise a pleasant shopping experience.

What I will say is that this is a very nice Target in terms of layout, options, how it’s maintained. However, I think I always come into some type of trouble at this particular Target. Went to get something in Tech and asked for help only for him to not look it up on his device (granted, not completely sure if he had one but I have worked at this chain before and most do), not offer to look in the back, and tell me that Amazon was a great option. Not very friendly and felt condescending instead.

This is a great store. Lots of deals, especially in the grocery department. Recently they started hosting a Kaiser clinic. Excellent customer service, including employees dedicated to helping customers to their cars.

Target, you are big, you are well stocked, you are clean.Thank you for always having just what I need and a bunch of things I don't need but buy anyway.The collection of cheap things in the front is irresistible for me and others, providing ample opportunities for items magically appearing in the cart and no one knowing how they got there...Toys, cookies, seasonal housewares, you never cease to churn out a constant need to drop in and check out what's new.

The checkout lines are poorly designed and causes confusion. I watched multiple people get confused and cut lines or go to registers that weren’t open. No express lanes at all. I only had two items. No self checkouts were open.

Shopped at Target twice recently and had a great experience each time. Associates were very helpful and accommodating. Target has a large recycle area which was very impressive that the company is environmentally conscious and responsible . Also a recycling program for child car seats where parents can turn an older, smaller one in and get a coupon for money off a new one.

one element I naturally don't like about this particular Target is cashiers are cold and negative who seem to have forgotten that the customer in front of them is one of the countless who write their paychecks. in fact one of the first experiences I had with the women at FOH actually pretended to not hear me and was very dismissive to me afterward. just don't like dealing with the front of house at this location. it's like they take their employment and jobs for granted and just don't have the time or the basic enthusiasm to put some smile into their behavior, which comes across even when they have a mask on. the tech department however at least when we were there once was very professional, helpful and went beyond the call of standard customer service. also one of the younger men greeters is very nice. only one FOH cashier I've encountered actually made me feel valued and wished me a good night. I actually find it more enjoyable to order over the Website, but again this is one of the better better tech departments to be found at this big box chain. it's also better to shop in person off hours usually when there's less aisle traffic. don't know why this is a 3 star, perhaps your positive or not so great experience at this store will vary.

I found the X box "X all inclusive" package online, it said there were 4 available in store. I went to the aisle it told me it was located. I did not see it, so I asked. A guy brought it out, then a women named Jessica was called to sell it to me. She said it was available for online only, but actually she couldn't even sell it to me even if I went online and purchased it. She did something on her kiosk thing and told me there was nothing she could do and to have a good day. I then tried to buy it online and could not, even though it said the store had 4 available. The other manager said the best he could do was ask me to try buying it online again tomorrow.... it was in my hands and then taken from me, online the website said the store had 4 are in stock. Thanks Target for ruining my day, wasting a couple hours that I trusted to you, and making sure this customer of almost 30 years never shops at Target again. Don't waste your time here looking for stuff they claim to have or expecting any customer service at all from management.

I was very impressed with the fast service and kindness of cashiers. When the first cashier was not able to help me she immediately asked another cashier for help. Everyone there had a smile all the way through out the store. Will definitely look forward to shopping there again.

Solid Target, seems to be larger than most I’ve been to, and every staff member I’ve interacted with has been beyond friendly, regardless of the request. Prices are great, store is always spotless, and huge variety to shop from, including the grocery department! Hint: You DO NOT have to get a Red Credit Card to save BIG money. Download the app, and you’ll see for yourself! Target Circle has saved me probably $250 in 2022 alone…

This team has “drive up” down to a science! With a baby, it can be such a hassle to leave the car. This Target has been my saving grace for formula and grocery runs. It’s fantastic because I don’t have to wake my little one up from their nap while stocking up.They’re always on time and hasty when I arrive at my drive-up parking spot. They’re one of the only retail outlets that have offered consistent and reliable drive up services without any complications. The logistics are on point! I tried to tip the team member who brought me my groceries and they respectfully declined. I was just so grateful for their hustle - I wanted them to know how much I appreciated what they were doing because it genuinely made my life so much easier. Hopefully at some point Target will allow us to tip the drive up team accordingly.Also, I don’t know if it’s a right of passage to fall in love with Target when you’ve turned 30…but I am genuinely obsessed.All of the sub brands that Target has created are so intentional and well curated. The colors and aesthetics are never sacrificed, nor is the functionality! As a product designer I have a true appreciation for what they’ve done.I caught myself saying to my husband last week “Target is the Ultimate Retail Experience!” Dramatic? Yes. Exaggeration? No!Thanks Target Encinitas!

Not really impressed with the online store version of target they mentioned I needed to cancel my order in order to pick it up early because I went to the target at the only time I’m able to pick it up and they have yet to send me an email for confirmation to pick up why do I have to cancel my order do you make everyone in the store that has pick up orders canceled our order if there earlier than expected? And then have them pay AGAIN in store ? It’s ridiculous This is my fifth time buying something at target online at this location and this was my worst experience yet

I tried out the order on line and pick up at store where they bring your order to you in the preferred parking spots.It works beautifully.Hardest part was getting qr code to scan which took about 30 seconds.I was very happy and there was no contact so we were as safe as possible.This took so much stress away from getting vital items.Employee was quick and nice and efficient and courteous.Thank you

I've been to 4 stores in N. County SD, and the Encinitas store is the nicest, best laid-out, most well-stocked, and has the best vibe of all of them. There is nothing wrong with the O'side store or the Vista store, but I really prefer the Target store. It feels new, clean, and calming. It verges on bougie, but I felt very comfortable there and found everything I needed easily.

Staff is very friendly . The employees are actually doing their jobs and always restocking and organizing . Their truely happy to help . My children have special needs and I never feel stared at or discriminated against . Unlike WalMart and it's extremely immature employees who constantly stare . it seems employees are trained to truly have courtesy and respect towards it's customers . My new favorite store

I ordered a product for pick up at this target. I received an email saying it was in stock and was available for pick up. Upon my arrival (which is 45 minutes one way 1 hour 30 min round trip) I was told it was off site and it wasn’t actually here. I was told to come back the following morning.The following morning I arrived as instructed, I was told that it didn’t come in still and they will have it back after 2pm. I show up again at 4pm and was told the warehouse doesn’t have it and the local target store doesn’t have it. If anyone is wondering if I called ahead I did 16 times in fact. None of my phone calls were every answered by the store. It rang until the line automatically disconnected after a few minutes.I wasted 4.5 hours dealing with this.AVOID THIS STORE LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Ordered online for same day delivery and even signed up for their delivery service "Shipt." They sent the confirmation email and then later when we were waiting for delivery, they sent a cancellation email of the whole order with no explanation. Simply email stated: "We’re sorry to inform you that we had to cancel items from your order #XXXX [BTW, it was all the items in the order]. There was a technical issue that prevented us from fulfilling your items. This is something we are working hard to avoid, but we didn't get it right this time." I wanted to spread my shopping around so that I'm not just reliant on Amazon, but every time I try, I get something disappointing like this. Sticking with Amazon.
