I tried Paw Commons several “grooms” ago, because I fell out of love with another groomer in the area, but it’s hard to find a groomer who understands doodles. I found one and my doodle loves her. Zayra at the Encinitas location has groomed my doodle several times now. He looks great every time & he seems to enjoy it. He won’t let me touch him with a brush & dreads the baths between grooms, but when we arrive at Paw Commons, he happily goes with her. 💜 The staff also take an interest in him, in fact Audrey at the front desk recognized us from a doggy day care where she used to work. Highly recommend! 👍🏻👍🏻

Everyone at P.C. was wonderful. Clean…calm place. My dog’s first grooming here was super! Zayra was so good with my little guy! Great cut and handling! So glad I connected with Paw Commons!!!

From beginning to end we were impressed. Paw commons is very clean/inviting inside and out. Each staff member was attentive with excellent customer service. Treasure felt comfortable which was the ultimate test. Anna did an outstanding full service groom with a great attention to detail. Treasure’s nails, feet and sanitary service exceeded expectations. We can tell Treasure loved her. Finding a groomer has not been easy and we are so happy that Anna and Paw Commons was recommended to us. Big thanks to all staff, Crystal and especially Anna for taking care of our little treasure.

The Encinitas staff are so friendly and welcoming. They show their love of pets to all K9 visitors. I see this with our 2 dogs and every dog that comes in the store. Our dogs are always happy when I pick them up. The groomers, especially Zariah, our favorite is the best! Thank you!Patti Anderson

I love taking my two pups (1.5 yo pug brothers) to Paw Commons in Encinitas! I’ve been taking them now for almost 3 months about once or twice a week and they LOVE IT! The pups are always so happy and excited immediately upon arrival. I love that there are always attendants present in the play yards and are very interactive with all the pups and of course they offer pup cams to eavesdrop throughout the day. Everyone there from the customer support staff, front office staff, pup attendants, and groomers are beyond nice and attentive with excellent customer service. Highly recommend!!

Paw Commons grooming department is the best of the best! I've had nothing but a great experience here with my dog Theo, who is a mini labradoodle. They always take the time to groom him carefully and he's never come back shaven like at other places. Zayra is our favorite! The seasonal bandanas they put on him are a nice touch as well!

OK, this place is the only place that we have chosen for our precious family friend, a 2,5-year-old Maltipoo. Unfortunately, they need to enhance their Gold Individual boarding package. This service comes at an additional cost of +$30, which includes one-on-one playtime with a staff member. I believe it's around 15-20 minutes a day and 3-4 personal bathroom breaks. This service is appealing for emotional, unspayed small dogs, but at the same time, it's costly and doubles the daily expenses. I was hoping for some nice pictures or short videos of the playtime at this price, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. We received three mostly blurry and unprofessionally taken photos a day, which left us disappointed rather than excited. Additionally, we had to call the facility to remind them that we hadn't received updates after three full days. Hey Paw Commons, receiving joyful and well-captured photos of your dogs in your email inbox is priceless. Please pay attention to these photos, make them more entertaining and attractive with little to no extra effort. It's not cheap though.

Zara is fantastic! She was referred to me from a friend and groomed my two dogs today. I have a lab and a golden retriever who is a bit anxious. She was so good with them both and gave them the perfect haircut. I will definitely a returning client. Thank you!!

The trainer knew exactly what my dog needed to succeed and what we need to work on. She didn’t try to push anything expensive she only brought up what was best for my pet. Very professional and I am excited to start classes with my dog here!! You can tell they actually care!

This place is the best.I had to go out of town with all of my family to settle my dad‘s estate in Hawaii. Because of the location, I was unable to bring my baby/our dog. She has really bad separation anxiety as she was taken to the pound two times in her young life. we were so stressed about leaving her somewhere or someone watching her that we almost canceled the whole trip. I had no idea what to do and then I was recommended to Paw Commons from my coworker. From the very first interaction with Taylor, I felt a sense of relief. She understood my anxiety. She understood my concern. She really made me feel comfortable with the whole experience. every morning we would wake up and peek in on our dog who is having the best day with her new friends playing in the play area. I could see the staff members petting her and giving her attention and love. I called them at one point because I’m a helicopter mom. And they were so understanding. My dog had the best time there. Taylor the staff are amazing. I can’t say enough about all of them. Thank you to everyone there for taking care of my baby for me.I really appreciate all of you guys for being there for me and my family during a really hard time in our life.

The grooming services at Paw Commons Pet Resort was exceptional. My doodle, Bentley came out looking fantastic! The pet resort itself is well-maintained and has a friendly ambiance.Although I was satisfied with grooming services, one thing that I did not expect was the increase in pricing. When we made the appointment, we were quoted $90. However, upon checkout, I was told that the final bill was $110. While I understand that additional charges may arise due to specific grooming needs, I was not given an explanation for the increase. Despite this pricing hiccup, I still appreciate the grooming services provided at Paw Commons Pet Resort. The expertise and care demonstrated by the grooming staff was impressive and left Bentley looking and feeling his best.

My dog is very well taken care when she stays at Paw Commons Encinitas. I like their end of stay reports. And have had only great experiences when getting her groomed there, as well. They also have petcams to see your dog. Very reassuring. Everyone who has helped me are all lovely.

Needed to board my one year old puppy overnite at the lat minute. Paw Commons was awesome, offering me many options, including a bath at the end to of his stay! They were warm & welcoming, took great care of Bailey, and even called with a checking report the next day! Would highly recommend Paw Commons, they really care about your pet. I will definitely use them again!

So happy with Paw commons. Not only are they reasonably priced but they were super wonderful with my apprehensive dog. The best part is they don’t nickel and dime you. My dog was done with his appointment at 10:30 but I couldn’t get them until much later and they were totally fine, keeping him until I was able to get him. Very rare nowadays. This is our new go to place for grooming

Paw commons is fantastic for overnight boarding! Always consistent, great service and our dog gets so excited to arrive there and is so happy when we show up. We always get a bath done for her at pick up. We have been taking our lab there for 3 years now!!

I love this place!! I have been bringing Lillie to daycare since she was 8 weeks old and she is now almost 2! After moving to Encinitas I was skeptical on places to bring her. The service, professionalism, and care at Paw Commons are second to none! All the staff are kind and thoughtful and I truly trust them all with my fur baby. Crystal is the best, she never has a bad day , is always smiling and welcoming. It is a great way to start and end my work day and most importantly Lillie loves her and everyone here. 5 stars and feel so much gratitude for all you do!It is very clean!!!! You can tell they make quite an effort to keep it sanitary and safe .

First time boarding my dog here—it was a great experience! She needs seclusion due to anxiety and from what I could tell she was very well cared for. Came back home clean, energized and in a great mood—very different from experiences at other boarding locations. We will come back!

I love being greeted by Crystal at the front desk. It’s so convenient to be able to drop our dog off at just about any time. They are very willing to send me texts about how my dog is doing during her visit.

Saturday boarding is fairly expensive and a price breakdown isn't communicated when booking, they charge for overnight stay PLUS play time per day, including the insurance that you have to pay for per day also. If you pick up your dog on Sunday they will auto charge you another $37 for playtime unless you state that you don't want it, and they don't open until 12 pm on Sunday. Altogether our stay was $130.00 for ONE dog for ONE night. When we got our dog back on Sunday he relieved himself for about 2 min which tells me they didn't let him out in the morning for play time. My guy doesn't lie. Also this is the only place where my dog presents "problem behavior", we've taken him to Camp Bow Wow, Camp Run a Mutt, Playful Paws with no problems. *We did get $37 back after complaining about the additional Sunday play time charge. We will be looking for other accommodations in the future.*Update - I was contacted by paw commons, but did not call back, also we never got the $37.00 back. be aware of companies saying one thing and doing another.

The groomer was super sweet and nice with both me and my dog. The front desk organization and customer service is bad, it took me two weeks to schedule the appointment. Then, they told me the dog was ready, we went there and he was not. The front desk lady charged my husband wrong when he went to pay. Then, had to charge me again when I went the second time. Not sure if we will be back…

I work for paw commons and every location is a little different but within reasonable driving distance to find the perfect type of location. Being almost fully out door may not be for everyone but for those doggos that love lounging pool side Kearny mesa is the spot to be! Big shout out to all the employees and my co workers that work for the company! They are hard working and care about their co workers... Most of all the doggos! 💕
