Office manager Taryn is AMAZING! She is kind, compassionate and goes above and beyond to help your fur babies! She truly loves animals and will do all she can to ensure they are well cared for! Staff like her are hard to come by! I cannot thank her, Sarah and the staff at StoneLake animal Hospital enough for all they have done to help my poor girl Stella get back on her feet! They truly go above and beyond! I appreciate how thorough they were and how compassionate they were in treating my girl! I have not been to an office more accommodating!

Very happy with my first visit to this Vet. I had to bring in my indoor cat who is very anxious. I was worried because she is difficult to bring in and hates it. However, this Vet and the staff made the visit as comfortable as can be and treated my cat with care. They are up front with costs and options. I will be returning soon for a teeth cleaning and inspection.

I like the vet overall. I just didn't like one of the vet techs because she was really pushy about getting my cat's vaccine records. I knew I had them on my phone, but she kept asking for it to have it right away. Once she got it, she gave it to the vet, and then I immediately was suggested a BUNCH of vaccines to give my cat. Most which were completely unnecessary for an indoor cat like mine. It gave me the impression that they really wanted reasons to profit off of my cat. I really didn't like that. It's greedy and unethical.

I like this bet clinic but not some of the staff. Dr. Toor is really nice… 2 years ago when i first start bringing my pet to them, their review was at 4.8…. Now, it’s at 4.2 ???? He needs to hire more decent staff and not someone (Duquin) who would hang up the phone to a customer.

So l left an honest review 8 months ago its how I felt! I live in Sacramento now and have not had good luck with vets! I made an appointment with the hospital for today! After waiting 30 minutes the hospital manager took me into a room to let me know because of my review that we should part ways, okay! I just needed 2 prescriptions and Bravecto! They brought me in to put me in my place! , proof!

They're very nice and good with my Lab. I've been able to get appointments last minute. He hurt his paw on Saturday and we were able to get him in on Monday for a couple of stitches.

This by far the worst animal hospital I’ve ever been to! They only want your money and the women there are petty and hatful. They don’t care if your pet is suffering or in pain they just want your money! Please listen and keep your pet as farAway from this clinic as possible!!!

My dog had a hematoma on his ear & needed surgery. Sadly, we found our vet had moved out of state. After phoning 18 vets (and being turned down because my dog wasn't a current patient), Stonelake saw him within 3 days - squeezing his appt. in on their lunch break. And then, because they were booked up for weeks, they did his surgery that Sunday on their only day off! His stiches were left in for 3 weeks while he wore the cone on his head, & when they were removed, his ear looked perfect! Two friends of mine had dogs go through this same surgery elsewhere & the ears look like patchwork quilts! They say Stonelake did an exemplary job & I agree! I can't thank them enough for caring for my dog when no other vet office would.

Great vet! Switched to them after my previous vet doing a horrible job on my cats spay surgery. I also brought my new kitten here when I got him later on. Sadly I had to move, but I definitely recommend this place.

They took good care of my stray, Anise. They were fast and professional. Conscious of covid, kind, they called me the following day to check on Anise, as she had been put under anesthesia. I received a $39 credit to my bill, as it was my first visit to their office. I'll likely return. Thank you Stonelake for taking good care of my girl.❤

Came to this vet because my chocolate lab had an ear infection, they were able to treat him right away and took great care of him! the ear odor is gone, and inflammation is down. I'm so grateful for the stonelake vet Hospital team they were so kind and knowledgeable. We found our new primary for Oso 🐾

Very kind and compassionate care. Everyone in the office is great. Very happy with Dr Toor has been so good to us and our 2 dogs. My sweet girl has cancer and Teryn the practice manager is my hero. She handled the appeal with my pet insurance to cover care when I was a complete wreck. She has checked up to be sure my sweet girl is doing well, made sure I'm ok, and been an advocate for me and my very loved pup. I cannot say enough good things. Highly recommend them.

Took my cat in for soft stool. Vet gave anti diarrhea med and after giving 1 dose my cat started having diarrhea..made it worse. I search the med and its not fda approved. When i called the vet he wanted me to do several test and spend more money. I will not spend another dime there. No compassion. I used over the counter from pet store and the stool is getting better..d

Maria is spot on with her review. I'm not sure what took me to Doctor Toor's clinic, but not for me and my senior Chihuahua. For pet parents, that are financially blessed this vet clinic is the place to patronize, if not financially blessed, this is me, no!At the end of every visit, I'm presented with a bill of at least 500 plus dollars! Always included in a bill is a test for heartworm test and fees, if my Pet did not have heartworm the month or so ago when I spent 700 plus dollars on dental cleaning, there will be none now! It was 700 plus dollars wasted! Because I couldn't afford extractions at 30 to 40 dollars per tooth, depending on where it's placed in the mouth, it's as if nothing was done! I mean, if the pet is already on the table, under anesthesia, I'm not talking full mouth extraction! I cannot afford to return, not the clinic's problem I know, but all animals deserve the best care possible! Does anyone with any recommendations for affordable pet care? I love my pet, even if not financially comfortable at this time, which makes me no less blessed to have her! It's a rather blatant, practice of all about the dollars, not the animals! Great for the practice and Doctor Toor, I'm bug on optimism, but reality wins! My senior girl will be well!

I would give this place a zero star review if possible. The staff had zero compassion for animals and seem very on edge with customers. Took my dog to get treated for an ear infection and after saying they were going to do an ear flush and charged for sedation and called me and said the ear is too swollen to do a flush so they ended up flushing the other ear(which didn’t even have an issue) sent me home with antibiotics for infection and shortly after getting home my dog started having seizures took him into emergency clinic in Roseville they told me he was allergic to what these people gave me. Wouldn’t take my dog here! Beware!!

*If you do not want to read the whole review, at least read the last paragraph.I took my two dogs for a first visit just to establish them. This place came highly recommended by a friend of mine. They were very nice over the phone. However, when the came out to tell me about my dog the vet said that he wants to test her for hyperthyroidism because she is overweight. I reluctantly agreed. I had a bad feeling about this however, because she is only 1 pound overweight and is otherwise healthy.When I got home I did some more research to educate myself on something my dog may have. When I looked at the symptoms, my dog had NONE of them, besides the weight problem. I was furious, because he did not even ask if my dog had any symptoms, he went straight to we need to test her. That is just too suspect for me. By the simple fact that it was so easy for him to take my money for something he knew my dog did not have was wrong. That's just taking advantage of his customers.*On top of all that, I get an email saying that I will get half off (or something like that) my next appointment if I give them a 5 star review. ABSOLUTELY NOT. None of these 5 star reviews can be trusted now, in my opinion because these people are not doing it out of truthfulness, they're doing it to save money. Places that "pay" for reviews like this probably know they couldn't get it based off of merits.

I would give 0 stars if I could. The WORST experience I've ever had with an animal hospital. Btw dental cleanings are NOT $450. My dog normally goes to a different one but he needs a dental cleaning and they were available sooner and I was initially quoted less. I called the first time and was quoted $450 for a dental cleaning. Then I was told my dog would not be seen unless he has had an exam there. I offered to have his paperwork and exam from a few months ago faxed over from Bruceville hospital (my dogs normal vet). But they said he had to get an exam there in order to have the cleaning done. I agreed. It was $49 for the exam on top of the cleaning.Day of appointment, I arrived for his exam. Was told he needed his blood drawn in addition to the exam in order to have his teeth cleaned. And was quoted $49 (exam) plus another $215 for blood work. Plus $450 for the dental cleaning.It felt like a scam and the doctor here is only looking out for one interest and its not your animals, it's his own.What a waste of my time.This animal hospital is very untrustworthy. Not transparent and upfront with costs and procedure. Go elsewhere.

Misdiagnosed my dog after taking Xrays, brought a Pomeranian in with a coughing problem, examined him for collapsing trachea then told me he may have an enlarged heart (wasn't sure though). A few years later I reexamined him at another place and his heart was fine.

I was blessed with a sweet adorable Bengal kitten who was born in June of 2021. I brought her to Dr Toor because Stonelake Vet is located very close to my home. She had her shots and was spayed here. She had several complications after her spay surgery. Due to my taking her cone off too soon. I rushed her back to Dr Toor twice and he immediately cared for her. My Vet requirements are pretty simple, that they act like they care about my pets (baby) as much as I do. I have found that at Stonelake Vet. They are affordable, responsive and very caring. I think the staff really adores my sweet kitty as much as I do. I recommend Stonelake Vet! Please note: I did not know about the discount for a 5 Star review until I read one of the reviews below. Honestly, I never even asked about a discount, the prices here are significantly less than other vets and he offered me a good deal (even though it was my fault for the complications. I even think tipping your vet should be the new norm (if you can) since they care for our precious babies.

I took my dog to them after noticing he wasn’t feeling well at all. They got him into the office rapidly and took the best care of him while he was there. They even called to follow up and see how he was dog. Thanks to them and their amazing service my dog is back to normal and feeling amazing. I am so grateful for them and how wonderful they were to me and my dog.

We could not find a vet with available appointments anywhere. I actually hadn't heard of Stonelake, but when we called they got our kitten Joy right in. She came from a colony of cats, several of which were stricken with FIV. She needed testing before she could be adopted into the same home where she would be reunited with her mother who was also rescued. Stonelake got her in, and they were amazing! The doctor took time to explain everything, she was tested and cleared within 2 days and is now happily adopted and reunited with her mother. My friend also took her pet in, and was amazed at how quickly they got her an appointment, as well as the friendly follow up calls they provide. Excellent, excellent practice!

I had a very good experience with them. I have my brothers dog now after he passed away. We just got the reminder she was due for her yearly check from her old vet in another town. It's curbside here like it is still with many veterinarians offices right now. The one clear difference for me is not only do the vet techs come out (excellent staff btw) but the doctor does too. I got the appt for our girl quickly. We got seen quickly and the pricing was fair. I've been looking for a new vet for my fur babies and I believe we found him.

I just picked up my kitty for a spay procedure yesterday and the staff was so caring and gentle. They were very thorough on the details of what was being done with the procedure and how to help with recovery. I was pleased with how inexpensive the procedure and was even able to add a few services at the last minute. Thank you all. I live in East Sac and will be moving our animals to this Elk Grove facility for all services. We were very happy.
