I had to pick up some last minute Christmas Light gutter hangers. I gave the store a call ahead of time and they found the product I was looking for and gave me a quote on the price. The staff was super helpful and it was an easy pick up. I also felt that the products were fair priced.

This Staffe members, T & Sean have Really made an impression on the fact how people in this world are still driving by the idea thee job is customer satisfaction based before any thing.Although I’m not from the area that this a store is located, working here on the project Had to run to the store for multiple things for my work. I just feel like I live in the area and have known these people who work here 10 years.I’m just so in disbelief, how amazing employees here are more importantly, how much they represent the area which the store is located at and the Storage itself and the type of service that Ace employees can provide and leave the feeling of a fully satisfied experience and beyond that, the best experience I’ve personally had with any of the times I went to ace.

Every staff member is super nice and always ask if they can help you find something or help you to your car. I go to Sheldon Ace for my Traeger needs... always has a great variety of products for my Traeger smoker

The owner of this establishment is very rude. I’ve been to the store twice and he treats his employees very poorly in front of customers. He has no respect what so ever for his employees nor customers. As I was walking out of the store today I heard him yell to two paying customers outside of the store because they were changing a watch battery (that they bought in the store) near a bbq on display. “ hey guys! That bbq is for sale it’s not a table!….. unless you’d like to rent it leave!” I felt bad for the two young men and I will definitely not be going there or recommending any friends or family to that establishment.

Quirky little store that always has a wider selection of everything (except lumber!) than you'd expectStaff are ready to help and usually knowledgeable.Great selection of all types of fasteners (need just two #4 x 1/2" wood screws? No problem!).Great selection of PVC fittings and pipes.Good selection of adhesives and various caulking compounds.Good selection of drill bits and hand tools.They now have a good selection of Traeger wood pellets. And surprisingly, frozen fruit pies! If you can't find something-- ask. They keep lots of stuff in storage areas outside the store.Just a o-so collection of electrical supplies.There's a great gyros/falafel truck in the parking lot, so you can order lunch from the truck, bip into Ace to get your hardware fix, and your food will be ready when you exit the store. Bonus.

This is one of the better hardware stores I've seen in a long time. We dealt with two staff members and both knew their stuff it was great. We went in for 2 pretty random items and the had them. I went with my uncle and it was pretty fun. Got a bottle of coke on the way out. It had a "mom n pop" store vibe and I miss as that.. stores like that are fading so we try and do our part and go-to them as much as possible, most are great and every now and then we get a bad experience but not at this ACE. I would 100% recommend stopping in.

Called the store today to ask about a specific plumbing part I needed for my Well Pump. The young lady on the phone said they had the part in stock. Drove 30 minutes to the store to find out they have been out for a while. Terrible customer service, and a complete waste of time.

I've never been to this ACE before but we were waiting on a tow truck and had time to kill so I walked over to look around.. I was really pleasantly surprised honestly! They had a crazy huge selection of all types of spray paints for probably any project you could ever do. I was there for about an hour and seriously couldn't get over how many options and choices there were of just about every item there! Great store,and now I get how they've been able to stay open while so many other locations have closed down through the last few years :)

Since moving to the area a year ago, I have been to this hardware store numerous times. Mostly, to fill my propane tanks, but also to purchase miscellaneous items. My personal shopper, Adam, always helps me find what I need in the shortest amount of time. Very nice! Only not so pleasant experience, one day, I needed my propane tank filled, and nobody on staff was qualified. I left and had to return home with an empty tank, because none of the other places I went to (gas stations) had qualified staff on hand either. Not a good day. But otherwise, the location is perfect. No need to drive in to Elk Grove, if you need a nail or other household products in a hurry.

Good selection of items. The owner assisted us. He was extremely nice and helpful. The key he was making for us wasn't working on the cutter but he made a couple extra until it worked. We will definitely go back.

Typical Ace Hardware store. Great customer service and selection of home repair and other related items. Some basic garden supplies in the back. Plenty of patio and outdoor items in the front of the store. Full typical paint selection. Also has a big selection of automobile related supplies. Small parking lot, easy accessible from the gas station and or grant line road. Two registers in the front. Awesome staff. Recommended if you want to beat the HD crowds.

Went in for some length of chain today, had a rather unpleasant experience with an older man named Ed today. His attitude was very negative, he acted like I was inconveniencing him. I have never felt so disrespected this store. I will not be back here unless it is a dire emergency. There are too many local big box stores readily available. Get a life Ed, if you hate your job, then retire and let some one else who needs the work full your shoes.

I know it's a retail chain, but it feels more like a mom and pop. I started coming here because OSH closed, and I don't like those bigger stores. I prefer to buy firewood here because they have that birch wood that lights up with a single match even when it's wet. The staff are so helpful, they always greet me right when I walk in the door and help me find what I need.

Sheldon Ace Hardware is awesome.The staff are very helpful and friendly. I have always had a great experience. We live close by and it is very convenient to go to Ace. The prices are comparable to bigger stores that are much farther away. They have a very good plant selection during planting season and they take great care when replicating keys. Many of the staff are young local kids that are very courteous and helpful. The popcorn is nice, too. :)

This little store has a lot of terrific stuff. We live in the country and it is much easier to take a trip to Sheldon Ace Hardware than to run to Lowe's or Home Depot. In fact, we get much better service than the big stores give us. We always go here first and 95% of the time we find exactly what we're looking for. Great store!

PARKING SUCKS! FRIENDLY STAFF!!Thank God this place is here as there is nothing else in the area. I stop often when out on service calls. Very convienient. Like all Ace/Miners expect to pay a lot more but this location has friendly staff, very helpful and knowledgeable about their inventory. A lot packed into this little store but the parking is severely limited and miserable.

I like that Ace Hardware isn't as big as the other big box stores, and they tend to have some of the more Oddball things that you are looking for. One thing I really like is that they have those extra special pretzels called Dee's pretzels. No other place in the area has them but Ace Hardware. Yeah you can order them from Amazon but sometimes you just want them right away and at least Ace Hardware has them.

A much smaller hardware store than Lowes or Home Depot but for the most part you can find what you need and it doesn't get crowded. Prices reasonable. I continue to shop here.

Clerk understood what I needed, had the tools to help me with the job and I was out of there in minutes. At lowes I only got a guy from paint who knew little about nuts and bolts and sold me the wrong size of both. After i left Ace, i had to return the wrong hardware and wait in line for a refund at Lowes. Well done Ace!
