I had a situation during the holidays with my older Chihuahua. Our typical vet, VCA, could not get us in to see them in a timely manner. Franklin Ranch's staff was *so* caring and kind over the phone when we scheduled the appointment. They were able to get us in within a few days! Their facility was great; the parking lot has a large vacuum, nice park-like areas for pets to walk around, and a beautiful lobby. The staff was delightful and helpful. Our new vet, Dr Hacker, was very knowledgeable and informed me about my dog and made us feel very comfortable. My pet was greeted and treated with nothing but respect and care. They called us to make sure my dog was doing alright after his vaccine and the Vet called us back with answers to our questions. This is our new favorite place and we are not going anywhere else!! I've been to a lot of vet hospitals, and Franklin Ranch is way out in front. The unchallenged leader. Apart from the sparkling clean, modern facility with the most cheerful seasonal decor, it's medical professionals and support staff are so compassionate-- with the animals and owners alike. My dog wasn't sure the first visit, but by the second visit, by the time we left, she was completely relaxed and happy. If I could give 10 stars I would!

I checked out a few veterinarians about an end of life evaluation with possible euthanasia. I decided to go with Franklin Ranch. I called them back and made an appointment. When the day came for the appointment I had to carry my big dog out to the car. I went in to the clinic and was told I had no appointment. The person that made it didn’t put it in the schedule. Then they wanted to charge me an urgent care charge to be seen on the day of my appointment. They wouldn’t own their mistake so now I have to carry my dog back into the house and find a more competent place I can depend on. If I could rate them less than one star I would.

Due to multiple issues, our dog Feeny visited Franklin Ranch 4 times in December. We were always seen timely and treated with friendliness and kindness. Our questions were answered clearly. The last visits were regarding a surgery on his eyelid. We were very scared about the procedure. The staff was very reassuring. They sent the removed mass out for a biopsy. Dr. Churchill called a few days after the surgery to let us know the the results of the biopsy had not yet come in. She said she would be out of the office for a few days, but would contact us as soon as she was back. And she did! We hope not to have to visit Franklin Ranch too often, but if we need to, we know our dog is in excellent hands. We highly recommend Franklin Ranch Pet Hospital.

Eternally grateful to staff. I had to take my fur baby in for her end of life. I had never been through anything like that before. Staff took me through the process as best and painless as possible. My baby left me with dignity and peacefully thanks to them.

I wrote a review after our beloved dog passed away last week. I realized that it did not adequately capture how impressed and grateful my wife, son and I were for Franklin Ranch. Doctor Churchill and her staff quickly attended to my dog's situation with care, professionalism and expertise. Honest explanations, effective medicine and being there all were the best I have ever experienced.Their empathy and availability were so appreciated.

I was impressed that I got an appointment for my cat the next day to be checked. The place was clean and bigger than I expected. Staff were friendly and welcoming in the office and on the phone. The only minor issue was they couldn't get a urine sample and I was expected to bring cat back.Luckily, I was able to get a sample at home to bring in!

My pets always receive the best of care at Franklin Ranch. They even do a follow-up phone call the next day to see how my dog was doing after her dental and how my cat was doing after receiving his vaccines. All the vets and staff are wonderful and caring. The best Veterinarian clinic in the area.

I can't describe how grateful I am for Dr. Sutton. My cat almost died last year and she oversaw most of his care. She has great bedside manner and customer care and is patient and clear in helping me understand everything and weigh my options. She is sturdy and compassionate in very difficult, emotional times. She has provided excellent care for him ever since. I appreciate her more than she'll ever know! My cat had a scary emergency this week and we saw Dr. Hunt for an emergency visit, they were packed but she made sure to fit us in. She was thorough, and very sweet! She and Dr. Sutton consulted after and Dr. Sutton even called with detailed follow up support. I know they don't have a lot of time but go above & beyond .Special shout out to Ace, a tech I'm told took extra care with him when he was hospitalized last year.

Most all of the staff here are nice and friendly. They never freaked out on how I would pay for something my disabled senior dog needed, we just got it done and figured out the payment afterwards. Samantha Hunt is the best vet tech here by far. She always treated Maxie as if she was her own. Thank you for helping Maxie and myself through to the very end. I wish nothing but good fortune for everyone there at the ranch ✌

I had just adopted a new kitten this last month after my 21 year old cat passed away in 2020. I am very particular in the vet that I have seen in the past due to excellence service and caretaking of our animals. That vet is no longer available.I had called around and tried to find any openings, this one had one the same day I called. I didn’t think I’d be able to find another alternative vet to bring my new kitten to. But here it is. I have to say, the staff seemed happy and welcoming, cared for each patient individually. I was taken care of by Dr. Wheezer and her assistant I didn’t quite catch the name. Absolutely amazing customer service and care for not only my kitten but for myself, interested in anything I had to say in regards to my kitten.They had to give her a routine shot and take some blood for testing, we were in and out in 25 mins tops. Excellent facility! Great staff, clean, a little pricier than some places, but it is WORTH it. We will be coming back for all of my kitten’s needs. Keep up the good work guys, you were all amazing. Front desk staff included! 🙂 She says thank you in the picture!

Grateful for timely urgent care appointment, thank you front staff, for my five month old puppy. How do you treat a patient who can't tell you what's wrong and when the tests don't explain it either, again, experience and intuition, compassion and knowledge. Very grateful for his vets experience and intuition which was spot on. Grateful for techs and overnight tech's that worked around the clock to get his fever down. Forever grateful for a now healthy puppy.

A great pet hospital.Everyone is nice and knowledgeable, and they respect your pet. That is the most important part! It is obvious that everyone who workers there is a pet lover. So when you drop off your pet, you know your baby will be taken care of.They always find an appointment when you need one, even when they are busy. If you're a regular, they treat your baby like any patient, they call, and email reminders for yearly shots, check-ups, and special needs for your baby.They are out of the way, so it is a small drive, like a ranch, like the name says Ranch, the are on the country road, but worth the drive. They are not cheap, but what great vet is. You get what you pay for, and if your pet is your baby, then you'll want Franklin Ranch. Remember, make an appointment.

If I could give more stars, I’d give them all to Franklin Ranch. Franklin Ranch is by far the best care my animals have ever received. I can’t say enough about the care the doctors have provided. I always feel well informed of my options and always feel the doctors have nothing but the best interest of my babies at heart. I’ve been to another pet hospital for several years before discovering Franklin Ranch and always felt like it was about profit and not care. One instance in which, sadly, I had to put our baby Stella (black lab) down will have me and my now fur babies a forever patient there. The way they handled it and cared for her in her final days was more than I could have ever expected. Fairly recently, I had to take a kitten we found in for care and, again, the treatment was second to none. I had to take my girl Lucille (mini Aussie) in for an eye injury and the doctor made sure to check her from head to toe and found she had something in her ear. She provided the care she needed and helped both her eye injury AND her ear. I know our four legged babies are a part of our family. If you want the best care for your family members, go to Franklin Ranch.

Great facility with loving caring and professional veterinarians. Our dog Gia had an overnight stay after having several teeth pulled. We were called and informed every step of the way. We highly recommend this facility. From the front desk to the vet technicians to the veterinarians they are all top notch.

This place is good. It was our first visit, friendly staff and big area. But I do feel they are on the expensive side. The Vet was very nice and knowledgeable it seemed but still costs is high.

I have used Franklin Pet Ranch for a few years and they have been great, especially when I needed an urgent appointment within a day or so for emergencies. They have great communication and in general, their staff have always been nice and super helpful. I have poked around other vets but Franklin Pet Ranch has been the easiest to get an appointment with after you are an established client.

Franklin Ranch Pet Hospital is the best vet hospital we have ever had. We were told by one vet in Elk Grove to put down our dog but FRPH told us not to and our dog live a along life. Our 1st and 2nd puppy we took to them. They are always conscious of out puppy needs and also they are conscience of our finances. The staff is very friendly and helpful. 3💜

Franklin Ranch has simply been amazing for our two dogs. We’ve had a couple times where we’ve needed to take our dogs into the vet right away and they are always able to make time for us. Every vet tech and vet has given us the same amazing care and I feel so comfortable going here for any of our pets’ issues. We are moving out of Elk Grove and into Sacramento but I still plan on keeping them here since they are just so great!

I've always had a good experience here. I have taken several of my cats here. One of them stayed for a month, and he was very well taken care of. I've also had the privilege of seeing several of the doctors. They have all been professional, knowledgeable, personable, compassionate, and seemed to love my animals with genuine care. I believe their pricing is also fair, even though no one can say that any vet is not expensive. It's medical care. They have, however, worked with me to keep pricing down or been understanding regarding payments. I have also used care credit, which was very helpful when my boy, Oliver, was hospitalized.I would recommend Franklin Ranch to anyone who cares about their furbabies.
