I was happy when I found out Daiso opened a store in Elk Grove about 10 months ago. I loved Daiso. I can find many different ideas for my house when I'm in the store. Sometimes I think the person who designed the little things for my house is a genius. “That’s what I can do!” is what is in my mind sometimes.However, this Daiso in Elk Grove is one of the smaller stores. Some of the items are not available here! I still have to shop at another Daiso if I can’t get them here.The employees are very friendly at this location. I enjoy my shopping experience!

I shop here weekly and I love it! Although, I have noticed that they have been going through a lot of employee changes at this location lately. There are few familiar faces left from when it opened. Most of the employees are kind and helpful, and some of your long running employees there are the reason I stop by so much. Great customer service! It's nice to shop somewhere, where you feel welcomed.

This place needs better employees and a manager on the floor...I was in line yesterday and saw another coworker seemingly shoo away the cashier that was already up there and seemed to try and tell them she had it until her lunch. She looked so embarrassed and upset but was still so respectful and held it together very well. Absolutely disgusting the shorter coworker did that to her!! And on top of that, I had to come back for a few things my sister wanted, and decided to get some food on the way out. The same woman was being extremely disrespectful to some little girl no older than 13-18 when she asked her a question. I've heard about her from other people who've spoken to her for information or had reasonable and simple questions saying she was rude and had a lot of unnecessary commentary, informal opinions, and insulting questions about the person talking to her. I was able to get a small glimpse of her name tag, I think it was Mai or something close to it. She has a HUGE attitude problem that needs to be addressed, or she needs to be fired IMMEDIATELY!! She needs to be retrained or given consequences of some kind, but I think she seriously needs to go after what I witnessed yesterday and heard from my peers.

I literally love LOVE this Daiso. So clean and a lot of Sanrio items I love and the snacks are really good options and Japanese Snacks!

Adrian is the manager at this store and is the worst manager I have ever encountered. Doesn’t ever do his job, talked the entire time I was in the store. As well as he hid in the back the whole time I had an issue and needed him to resolve it. The regular employees were more helpful than him as a manager. This is the exact reason why I will no longer be shopping at this store and will be going to delta shores from now on. Worst management experience ever.

I went to their first grand opening last week & it was overall such a good experience! Friendly staff, clean store, etc. It was hard to try and not spend, but everything was so cute that I ended up buying multiple things. Definitely recommend coming here! Shoutout to Ally O. & staff for being so nice & helpful! <3
