CVS in Elk Grove, CA is a reliable one-stop shop. They offer a wide range of products, from medicines to household items. The staff is friendly, and the store is well-organized. However, prices can be a bit higher compared to other options in the area.

The prices were inaccurately labeled and a bag of candy that was labeled $3.99 rung up for $9.99 and the staff would not adjust the pricing. It was a very frustrating situation and then the coupon that brought me in for four dollars off the cashier told me I need to download it when I downloaded it From the site, then she wouldn’t help me find it to be able to use it because she was frustrated at me because of the pricing issue of an item. She was rude and unhelpful. The manager had to come to assist with the adjusting the price of The Candy yet it’s frustrating to have receipts through an app that you have to accept and then not be able to use the coupon , even after pulling up the app downloading it. The whole process is very frustrating it’s time-consuming. It’s not very clear it’s not very user-friendly and then the staff not assist you. I will never never shop at that CVS again. It was the worst experience for just running to get a few things

I completely agree with all the negative comments about the pharmacy. I walked up to the drop off counter for a question and waited for about 5 mins to be acknowledged even though I'm standing right in front of her. And the woman behind the counter with long dark hair finally looks up at me and asks " what do you want, I mean what do you need help with?" As if I'm bothering her. Most not all of the staff the there are like that. Don't give them your business anymore. Go to Bel Air pharmacy. They're right next door and the pharmacists KNOW how to treat customers. Diana is the sweetest.

I've been a loyal customer at CVS for a long time, and I must say that I've never encountered a CVS pharmacy manager quite like Ayman. His professionalism leaves much to be desired, as his attitude and demeanor stand out in a negative way compared to other pharmacy managers. I've often found myself waiting longer when he's on duty. In contrast, the rest of the pharmacy staff have always been pleasant to me, except for Ayman. I hope this feedback can assist him in improving his behavior and aligning it with the standards of professional customer service.

I've been a customer here for years. It's very convenient. I love their pharmacy delivery program. Helped alot when my husband and I had Covid at the same time. The last couple times to the store I've been disappoinnted with the customer service. Yesterday the man that gave me the flu shot didn't really say anything the whole time. Didn't tell me what to watch out for after receiving it, and he took si long to open the bandage he put it on a red angioma instead of the injection site. A week ago I was standing behind 2 ladies at the only open cash register. As soon as I was next in line the clerk took the person she was helping to a new register where 2 people jumped in line before I could get there. I ended up waiting 30 minutes in line with a medication I picked up at the pharmacy that needed refrigerated. When I finally got helped at the register I told my story. Didn't get an apology either. Couldn't go to self checkout because I was purchasing wine.

I have been coming here for my prescriptions for years, and have finally decided to switch locations. Some of the staff are helpful and friendly, but one of the pharmacists is extremely rude. I understand the holidays are a stressful time of year, but being unprovokedly snippy and careless with customers is not okay.

What I saw today was just absolutely unbelievable. The pharmacist that works at this Franklin and Laguna location has the worst attitude and the techs act very immature. Just a very unprofessional way for them to conduct themselves with the public. I don't care what the situation is you must conduct yourself as if you're grown adults. Thank God that there are other options where we will take our business.

I made and went into an appointment to get a couple vaccines as I am traveling soon. The woman working there refused to give me a pneumonia vaccine despite the cdc recommendation due to my age. I ended up having to go to a different cvs in which there was no issue with my request so I’m inclined to believe this cvs was being difficult for no reason whatsoever. It seems wrong to have employees be so misinformed or even downright incompetent in a health environment

We drove 30 mins from Stockton for a Covid vaccine for my toddler. Our appointment was at 12:00 pm. When we arrived we learned that a family had been waiting since 10:30 and that the nurse practitioner was late. We waited over an hour and then decided to leave because we had a time sensitive event to attend. I didn’t think getting a vaccine would take so long. So I set another appointment for 3:30pm the same day. When we arrived again only one family was in front of us. 20-30 mins later another family arrived and is somehow seen before us. After they leave we wait again and see on the screen that there is apparently another patient “in service” but nobody walked into the room, we were there the whole time and saw no one. And then we see the “cleaning room” sign and wait another 10 mins. At this point my toddler is restless and ready to leave and so am I because we had been waiting for an hour for a SECOND TIME. This is not good customer service. I had no problem coming to get my toddlers first Covid vaccine 3 weeks ago but today it seemed the nurse practitioner was just working on her own time. Very unprofessional and I’m very upset especially because I drove 30 mins out here.

Hoang Nguyet is awful. She withholds vaccines and treatments after patients have been sent here for them. The other CVS locations did not understand her decision and gave us the vaccines same-day with the exact same kind of appointment we had at this location. Hoang Nguyet is a huge liability to this business, has terribly rude patient manner, and should not hold any level of authority in any pharmacy, anywhere.

I had a appointment for Covid test on Monday and didn’t have insurance. The lady didn’t help me and demanded me to have a insurance for test which is so upsetting. I urged her I need a test done but she kept demanding me for insurance and said her supervisor said everyone has to have insurance in order to get tested.

Poorly stocked store and items that show "in stock" on their app and website are not in stock. This happens over and over. When you ask them to correct the issue, they just say "sorry" because they don't really care. I just end up driving to the Pocket for a better stocked store.

Waiting on call for 25 mints and there were only 2 callers ahead of me. They transfer medicine of my daughter to CVS... CVS fax them for some requirement for transfer of medication twice but they didn't answer... I received my daughter's medicine after 5 days... They dont know how medicine is important to someone when one is not good...

Went to pharmacist twice asking for help looking for over the counter medication. Both times was told what section to go to. Couldn't find what I was looking for. Gave up went to Walgreens across the street was helped right away.

I used to take my prescriptions to CVS, but my insurance changed and I had to switch pharmacies. Later I was able to go back to CVS, so I decided to switch my medications to their pharmacy. As a person who was rear-ended by a semi and again by a woman who panicked and hit the gas instead of the break I live in near constant pain. Because of which, I have to take narcotics; however, to limit the amount of drugs I am on I also use other prescription alternatives, such as valtaren gel (an anit-inflammatory cream, lidocane cream and patches, and Naproxine (essentially alive). I went to fill one of my pain medications with them after having switched over my migraine medication and Naproxine and they told me that "due to California law" they could not fill the prescription more than one day before the last prescription ran out. As a law student, I said "show me where the law says that!" Now after three days of research the pharmacist explains there is no law on how long one must wait, they just have a policy that they will not fill narcotic prescriptions more than 2 days before the previous prescription. (remember earlier I had been told one day). Apparently, CVS wants to treat everyone who suffers in pain as if they are all addicts, telling us when we can and cannot fill our pain medications despite our doctors, who are the ones monitoring our care, prescribing them. I am moving all my prescriptions back to my old pharmacy.
