Working on establishing a vet for dog. Set appointment and arrive early understanding how busy businesses are. I'm told that they can't checking me in because I'm early. Come the time of appointment they tell me that they can't check me in because vet went to lunch. What is the point of appointments? Then they tell me maybe they can get me in an hour but have have other appointments. What kind of professionalism is this? So far, not impressed. Not sure I'm going to even consider doing business here.

I am NOT one to go on google and write reviews, probably left a total of 5 throughout my life. But this needs to be said.Paid premium dollar to have our cat spayed at this location. The first time, the hospital didn't have the medication to give the cat for her spay. They notified me the DAY BEFORE leading up to her appointment. Two weeks later, scheduled again, took a day off work again, they notify me 30 minutes before the appointment that there is a "leak" in their surgery suite and that they can not perform the surgery. Banfield is a multi million dollar operation. I have never seen anything like this before. I told the lady we already gave the cat the prescribed anxiety medication, the response..."we can prescribe more medication." The only room in this whole hospital that happened to have a leak is the surgery room? And some bow last time the medication required to perform the surgery ran out???? Yeah no, save your pets and go somewhere else, this place has red flags all over. Horrible. Zero regard for people's schedules.After requesting a refund of all the money we have spent and the full plan we signed up with, the response "OK, I'll talk to my manager" and hang up. This place is a joke. Read the other reviews. It's not just one person. And it's a different reason every time. No regards for other people's schedules or accommodations, just cancelling appointments left and right.

I have been taking my furry friends to Banfield for the last 4 years.I've had nothing but great experience every time I go there.My dogs just like any other pet don't like it so much but the friendly staff and Dr's make sure that they are comfortable and they do everything to keep them calm during their visit.Great place and friendly staff.

My dog had glaucoma in his right eye. The vet determined it needed to be removed. I tortured myself watching pet eye removal surgery videos. I was expecting his to look raw and beat up. They were so careful with the hair removal and the soft tissue. He looks great and is feeling great thanks to banfield and their lovely surgeon lady. She impressed me so much with her knowledge and great attitude towards her job. They wont give handouts, but rather helpful organizations that can assist in emergency situations. They accept carecredit which really came in handy. I'd recommend them. You get what you pay for:)

When we first started coming here we were happy. It was a perfect place for preventative care and care for our pug terrier who had ear issues and allergies.Lately, this place has been horrible.First, when we went to go in a week or two ago just to pick up flea medicine the office was randomly closed due to staffing. No notice anywhere except on the door.We have been trying to take our dog in for his allergy shots, vaccines, and to have his ears looked at again.We scheduled the appointment to get the shots without any issue. But on the day of the appointment they called and stated they can't do the appointment without scheduling a comprehensive exam first, which resulted in us having to reschedule. They showed no care when we told them he needed to have his allergy shot to help with his itchiness, it was comprehensive or nothing, which makes no sense at all. I could understand if we were requesting a medicine, and they wanted to exam him first to make sure it was correct, but this was a monthly shot that has been in his record and vaccines.When they rescheduled we told them he couldn't be kenneled due to pug related behavior (anxiety that causes him to scratch at his ears.) This was something THEY told us to say on previous visits so he didn't "self-harm" his ears while kenneled. They scheduled us for an in office visit that was supposed to be for today at 3pm.Just now, we got ANOTHER call to reschedule his appointment. They stated they were "Closing early" today because of "staffing".... AGAIN.This is frankly the last straw. We are going to cancel our dogs from Banfield and will never be back.I called the Franklin Ranch Pet Hospital while my wife was on hold (she's still on hold and just driving to Banfield now) and they answered immediately. Franklin Ranch even scheduled an appointment for today (same day) at noon to look at our dog.I don't know what has happened to this location, but something changed and everything has been awful.I do NOT recommend signing up for this location and will never recommend Banfield to anyone.

I am so very disappointed in Banfield. 13 years ago when we brought our chihuahua to Banfield they were great; appointments available in a reasonable time, promptly answered the phone, and they followed up on everything. I don't know what happened between then and now, but its not the same company. It took them 4 weeks and 5 phone calls to respond to Chewy for my dogs medication prescription despite saying each time "we did it". Surprise surprise, Chewy never received any correspondence from Banfield. No one answers the phones, and when they do, they put you on hold for 20 minutes then send you to voice-mail they never use. I had to drive over to the location and wait 45 minutes in the waiting room to get them to do something, after calling multiple times today.I have been with Banfield for over 10 years, and I have just cancelled my optimum wellness plan because of how incredibly bad the customer service is. Believe it or not, this is the better of the two locations, which says a lot.If they're ignoring the humans, i wonder how they are treating the animals. As soon as the Banfield optimum wellness plan goes up for renew for our other dog, we will not be going back here again.

Don't waste your time coming to this location. Their communication skills suck!! One person will tell you one thing then another person will say different. I took my dog here and spent about 200 plus getting shots and yearly exam. I was told she needed to come back to get a booster. I was not wanting to come back and have to pay another doctor visit. I was told during that visit since she is not going to see a DR that it would be a "tech visit" and I wouldn't get charged a office visit. They said my dog would just come in for the $20 booster and go. The day of my appointment they call and tell me that whoever scheduled me did it wrong and they don't do afternoon appointments. Therefore they wanted me to bring her in within the next hour or two. Totally disrupting my morning plans. I was annoyed but I Said sure that's fine. AGAIN I had them quote me for the price and it was the same as they told me in person a few weeks back. I drove over there which is not in the city I live in to get her to her appointment. When I got there before taking my dog they said it would be 80 dollars. I said no its a tech visit all she is getting is her booster shot. They then try to said well you don't have a wellness plan so the office visit is 60 bucks. Had they told me that UP FRONT I would of saved the gas and canceled. I was not about to pay almost 100 bucks for them to take my dog back for one min to give a booster and hand her back to me. Worst customer service ever. They should of honored what they quoted day of and weeks before. They are all about money. Course they aren't honest they probably hoped i would say just go ahead since I'm annoyed and there already. Sorry I'll be taking my dog to a actual vet place next time.

Front desk staff is super unprofessional. They never answer the phones. I’m not sure if they don’t have a consisten vet at this location but they constantly are canceling appointments because a doctor isn’t in and the front desk won’t call you to let you know your appointment has been canceled. The vet techs and doctors have always been kind but Banfield and their wellness plans are pointless if you can’t get an appointment to be seen.

All the staff and doctors are wonderful. I’m very pleased with the care my four dogs get here and I’m saying this from a professional healthcare stand point as well as the quality of care my dogs had received here. Dr. Bennett and the technician Mark go above and beyond to address my concerns and questions about my doggies and they take the time to answer all my questions while providing the best care possible for my dogs. They really know what they’re doing and they’re excellent at communication which I find extremely important. I’m very pleased with the care I receive here

I hate to be the type of person who tries something once and writes off that thing entirely, but I guess there’s a reason why they said “first impressions count”.I took my 1-year-old cat to Banfield yesterday, at 10 A.M. After checking him in, I was told that I would receive a call whenever he was ready to be picked up. Can’t speak for other locations, but this location closes at 6 P.M., and I never received a call. When I tried calling multiple times at 4 P.M. to check on my cat, no one picked up. I had to leave work an hour early to pick my cat up before the place was set to close, and when I arrived, was made to wait close to 45 mins longer. When I tried to call the hospital when no one came out to the reception area, no one answered still.When I was briefed on what my cat had done yesterday, I discovered a physical exam was done, in addition to 2 vaccines, which begs the question: what took 6+ hours to do??? Was my cat in a room for 6+ hours waiting for the physical exam and vaccines? And if so, why was I told to bring him in at 10 A.M.???Also upsetting was the fact that I was told that I would have up to 72 hours to pick a plan based on his visit yesterday. When I asked if that included the weekend (NON-business days), I was told yes. When I asked whether I could schedule an appointment for him to be seen again on Monday to secure the plan based on yesterday’s visit and have his visit covered retroactively, I was told there was “no guarantee” that I would be able to secure an appointment for Monday.It should also be noted that their plans are not insurance plans. Visits are covered, however, none of the treatments that would need to be done as a result of any findings (e.g., medications needed to be taken, etc) are covered.Definitely won’t be going back, signing up for any of their plans, or recommending to any friends or family. If you are thinking of taking your pet to Banfield, consider the following first:1. Plans do not include treatment coverage2. It may take longer than reasonably expected for your pet to get a basic physical exam and a couple of vaccines.3. Non-business days are counted in their 72 hour follow up window for bloodwork and/or plan selection as part of your pet’s initial intake visit, even though almost every reputable business counts business days only and even though Banfield is closed on weekends.4. Patients who require a follow up are not given priority in scheduling, so that there is “no guarantee “ that your pet may be seen again without having to incur the cost of a full visit all over again.

Friendly staff and reasonable wellness plans to cover your pets basic needs make this place a good alternative to other expensive veterinarians, although the price can add up quick if you need a service that isn’t covered by your annual plan.

*** HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. PET OWNERS BEWARE ***This location has given in horrible experienced mainly due to two things, lack of communication within their own staff and lack of communication to their customers. I am not a person that writes bad reviews or go out of my way in order to make a point but due to my time with Banfield, it has been unpleasant overall. The miscommunication between staff and customer is beyond unbelievable.I was first suggested to sign up for their wellness plan to be eligible to use their services at a discounted rate. My pet was only two years old and healthy, so I refused since the only service I wanted was to have her teeth cleaned. They then suggested to sign up for their “Active Plan” if teeth cleaning was something, I was interested in. I then make an appointment for teeth cleaning and then was notified that dental cleaning was not included while showing up to the appointment. They said that dental cleaning will be extra for an addition $450. This is very frustrating, especially when the sole reason for why I signed up was DENTAL CLEANING! In addition to paying all these months (over ~$200).They tried to fix this by telling me to contact their customer service line and see if I can get credit for the misinformation from the staff. After talking to customer service, they were not able to do anything. They then tell me that it was the Active Plus that includes teeth cleaning, so I sign up for that.This is where my tipping point for this company. I then bring my dog for an appointment because she developed a lump near her nipple area. The veterinarian diagnosed it as a false pregnancy cause her to have an enlarged mammary gland. They then suggest coming back within 2 weeks for two things, a post checkup in order to see if the swelling has gotten better and a teeth cleaning, which I make an appointment for.I bring her in for her checkup and was told the teeth cleaning will cost over $500 since she is not due for another cleaning until July. This additional charge was not even discussed prior to making the appointment from the staff. If I had knew the cost, I would have waited for a few months for which it will be covered.Despite the miscommunication, they then tell me that my dog will not be able to see by a veterinarian for her swelling because she is scheduled for a teeth cleaning which is an addition charge of over $500. I was pretty fed up at this point and left. My dog still has not received her post check up and today I completely wasted my time due to their incompetence. I highly do not recommend this establishment due their inability to satisfy pet owners needs.

I had no issues with Banfield until today. When I dropped off my cat for her appointment today, they did not even take a look at her and suggested us to take her to the ER. Not because her condition is bad that she needs emergency care, but because they think they cannot get an urine sample from her without sedation. I waited several days for this appointment and gave her calming medication like they requested, but they don't even want to take a look! After several hours of waiting, they called me to say that they weren't able to get a urine sample, which is fine. But when we took her home, her carrier is all wet with her pee! The care team is rude and unprofessional.Edit: I did report this to the company. I also tried to reach out to this clinic's manager twice but she never called me back.

We have been taking our pet to the pets mart Banfield hospitals for a number of years. This was the first time that i took her to this particular location at the Raleys shopping center. It is a nice and clean facility. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made me comfortable and reassuring as this was the first time that i was leaving my pet with them. The tech staff was also very attentive. The doctor called me in a few hours and took her time explaining the issues with her. I was impressed with their service.

The actual vet was fine for the 5 minutes I saw them. But every single vet tech I've encountered at this location has been rude and incompetent, with some of them being flat out dishonest. It's been a 3 week process just to get some heartworm prevention because none of the techs know what they are doing. Go somewhere else unless you want to waste your time and money.

Like this Banfield the best. The front desk staff is good. They get to know you and your pet - more than just a phone number. After each visit, we get a call to check on our pet. Very nice. Best of all, Dr. Earlhoff is on top of things. She is younger, but she knows her stuff. I appreciate that she brings alternative ideas when discussing options. This place is a keeper.

I love this particular one the MOST. Not only is it neat and clean but they are so friendly. You can tell they really love working there. I took my Son's dog in (they were visiting from Reno) and the convenience of transferring her records in a matter of second is such a plus!They spent time going over everything with me in complete detail. They asked if I had any questions. I didn't feel rushed at all. Love this place...highly reccomend!

Each visit different depending on staff scheduled for the day. Not easy taking my special companion(who helps with my mental heathcare, my overall experience) to a place that doesn't greet my dog or acknowledge that we walked in! I know Covid-19 has changed everything, but how about ," hello and we will be with you in??:??". To me I can see you are busy. To me I can see you are gossiping. To me I can see you are not interested & faking a conversation on the telephone. I see you! Do you see US? I am paying your hourly wages through my companions Healthcare options.

Dr Bennett is fabulous! He was able to make my cats and their humans feel very at ease during the visit. The office rates are reasonable, and getting the appointment was easy and fast. All around great experience!

Dr. Erloff and staff were very attentive to all of our questions. They did the work they needed to and gave us some pointers on how our pet can do even better next time. We signed up for the optimum wellness plan and I can safely say our Snoopy's doing great in his 11th year. Great staff, friendly service, would highly recommend.

The girl who answered the phone was so rude & sounded like she was extremely annoyed to be answering my questions. Don't bother, imagine how they treat the animals when they are left there. I'll stick with my existing vet even though he is further away.
