I’m giving this review based off of my experience. The grooming salon took my baby as a walk in on the same day. I was reluctant to go back to PetSmart because of my experience at the Hawthorne location but I’m glad I was able to give petsmart a second chance with a new fur baby. This was my babies first hair cut and she came back looking very clean and well groomed and didn’t try to up charge me and give me an excuse upon pick up or even at drop off. Thank you to Lily for handling her grooming services. You did an amazing job. My baby came back super energetic and hyper which was not what I was expecting, which meant she was taken care of. I will be going back to this location specifically to handle all her grooming needs. They told me they were gonna see if they would be able to give her a haircut since it was her first one, if not it would just be a trim and bath & when I picked her up they were successful in doing so.

I am a major proponent of publicizing positive experiences. This is my first time taking my pet to this grooming facility. He had an appointment with Connie. I could feel their high energy as soon as I walked into the grooming salon. The morale appeared to be high—grooming is not an easy task. I even saw a handful of Teamwork exchanges while checking in. Connie and her crew were very nice, respectful, patient, and communicated well. My doggie looked great, and she even won the battle of cutting his long nails. Thank you Connie—Jaxon & I are grateful! We'll be back!

When I dropped off my dog, he had long fluffy ears. They completely shaved all the hair from my dogs ears, claiming that there was a knot they could not get out. There is no reason to remove all hair because of one small knot.

Such a large, clean and friendly location! The staff is always welcoming and helpful. This is a large PetSmart so they have a lot of options on pet supplies and food. There are fish to see, cats and a grooming station. It is always kept very clean and neat and it is easy to find what your looking for. Huge parking lot out front and near lots of other fun stores!

First time in this particular Pet Smart. Soon as I walked in the door the smell was so strong. The floor had wet spots in it. Never had that experience at any other one. It's not a tidy store at all. I will say that at least the cashiers were nice. And even though the line was long. The cashiers move pretty fast.

Saturday February 10, 2024 My boyfriend and I walked in to purchase our puppies their kibble. Paid for everything they ate some that evening, the next morning they decided not to eat, all day the refused the food and their stool was soft, they both had diarrhea, we thought it was the change of food.Turns out Monday morning something told me to check the expiration date, come to find out the kibble has been EXPIRED SINCE OCT. 2023. Brand of the Kibble is Wellness. PLEASE double check the expiration dates as non of the employees have caught this at all. I called PetSmart Customer Service line just for the agent to be nonchalant and not a big deal, her response "well did you take it back to the store" very careless. Not knowing if my dogs were ok or anything. For sure the company would've never paid for any Vet bills. It's a big deal to me as these are my babies, as a human being no one would be eating expired food without complaining about it!!!

It was a warm summer day. My dog doesn't like the warm weather. He loved to go to the beach. I decided to take him to the Manhattan Beach. I drove to the "Pacific Coast High Way" to the North side.Unfortunately, I forgot to stop at theManhattan Beach.Then, when I drove a little more, I foundthe "Petsmart" store. This store was located in El Segundo. "Petsmart store was my dog's favorite place.There were a lot of parking spaces.We walked inside of the store. They kepttheir store very clean and well organized. And they decorated the store with Halloween costumes for the dogs.We walked around and we passed each section. Then, my dog stopped at the dog treats section. And he started to sniffBeef jerky for a while. Ok. I got it!He chose "Beef Jersey " for his treats.I grabbed it and we walked around the store. I saw a couple of dogs in the store,but he just ignored the other dogs. He was more interested in dog foods and treats.I found a little green backpack.It was cute and I could put the treatsin the backpack.I bought treats and a backpack for my dog. My dog enjoyed coming to the "Petsmart" store.Even though we didn't go to the beach,we spent time together in the store.I recommend this store to the pet parents."Petsmart " store is the place where you & your furry friend can have lots of fun and shop together.

The staff has been SO helpful along the way of my fiance and I getting our little furry guy!!From kennels to dog tags, they have been great to answer questions about anything and point out ways we can save money with deals and promos! I can't get over how knowledgeable they are about their products!

Our 11-month-old big baby, Moose,is a sweet boy, but previous grooming appointments have been really challenging to get him to not be anxious (and annoying). I was so happy that the grooming team was so kind and helpful, especially Betty and we cannot wait to bring Moose back in 🛁🙏

Dog training has been great! I signed my baby up for all three levels of classes and she has had a great time so far. Tori is awesome! She definitely has a special talent for dog training!

Spa day for my little one always goes well here. The chihuahua in him responds well to their nail grinding service. All staff is friendly and helpful and the pricing is reasonable.

I walked in there planning to buy dog toys and walked straight out when I saw the beta fish in small cups of water. Wrong on so many levels. Petsmart displays these fish as disposable decorations. Their own website says that beta fish need at least a 3 gallon tank yet they also label 1 gallon tanks as “beta fish tanks”. The reality is that a beta fish needs a 5 gallon tank to live their natural lifespan. But Pets Mart isn’t invested in the long term care of these animals - they’re depending on impulse buys and putting the fish in the tanks they actually need would make many customers think twice about the cost and care a fish requires.

What an absolute rip off! Will never go here again (I highly doubt anyone goes back twice!) and don't recommend. Made apt to have my puppy groomed. Was supposed to be $83 for full haircut (she has a lot of hair and it's hot out) and wash with nails, ears, etc (all the normal hygiene stuff). Husband drops her off, they say she's too young so they'll do the puppy cut (only cut around face, paws, privates, ears, etc). This should be $50. I pick her up and they have basically washed and brushed her. Her face is barely cut, her ears are not clean, her nails still super long and sharp. And, then I get my receipt and they've charged me for the DELUX for an extra $25. I call to ask what this is all about. "Betty" the groomer says she asked my husband if he wanted her nails clipped and my dog shampooed and he said yes. Then they charge you extra for these "upgrades" that you assume are part of the normal package. What an absolute rip off and scam.

They almost never have the diabetic food that my cat needs. The el segundo store is way better. Some of these people have bad attitudes. New employees only. The ones that have been there a while are better. This is a smaller store compared with others in the area. Make sure you match price with their online price. It’s almost always different.

My pet and i have had the most horrific experience at the Grooming salon last week. My pet was grommed and later noticed rashes on my pet. Next day my pet belly area and other ares were extremely irritated and skin color was extremely red. Gave them a call explained the situation. Sad to know they did nothing about the situation and their vets could not see my pet as we are in a pandemic my pet would need to wait maybe anotherday to be checked. My pet had to see his own personal vet as this was an emergency. We later found out my pet had a horrible infection and if not treated properly my pet could have died. Never offer a sincer apology and denied my pet getting infect with their grooming equipment. Over all bad experience, horrific customer service. And till this day my pet is still seen by his vet. Save your pet and go somewhere else. They do not care here.

I left after checkout without a bag, and the cashier came out to the parking lot to ensure that I had received the items I had purchased. It was a pleasant surprise, because I didn't notice it was missing after over ten minutes.

My grandkids new favorite place to go is PetSmart they look at the geckos and reptiles a really enjoy that it looking forward to getting their first little habitat with a few different forms of geckos

Wonderful customer service at this location. I appreciated the young gentlemen that took his time in helping me understand each product I needed for my cats. It’s not everyday you come across someone with patience & great attitude, this store has a great team working for them. I recommend visiting this store or calling for any questions you have they will try their best to help you understand & figure things out. Keep up the work PetSmart!

Store wouldn't honor price on a item that was on the website. The Item was the same but the website shows the Box to be different. I had to order the items online to get the website price wait 30 minutes and then go back to the store to pick up the same exact items. Major waste of time employees should know their products versus what is on the website.. Also that some items may have been changed name wise wise or model wise but still be the same as the ones on the shelf.

This location really has great selection of Pro Plan by Purina for my cats, but for the last few weeks their shelves have been nearly empty. I'm quiet dissapointed. Spending gas money to get to other Pet Smarts to run into similar issues......what happened?

I have been bringing My dog here for a long time to get groomed. I had a new groomer this time around name Gina who was nice but did not follow directions at all. She ended up doing whatever she wanted and I’m not super happy with the results. I asked her to cut her down just not too much and to keep her face long. Before I left I said do her body a 4 and keep her face long. When I picked her up her body was long and barely was cut ( she did brush her out nicely) and her face was cut and not neat! I left a tip because I understand they work hard but please do better at going along with what is communicated by the owner. She was not at the salon when I picked her up otherwise I would have said something.

So I bought a bearded dragon about 2 weeks ago and for those last 9 days it hasn't been eating or drinking a lot. Then one day I found it dead in my tank. So I figures out that my bearded dragon was sick. Petsmart I hope you read this but you can't just bring in sick animals then give it to people.

I highly recommend the grooming salon here at this specific location. This was my first time bringing my pup in the get groomed. The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable. The process was so easy from making the appointment over the phone to picking up my pampered pup. I felt the price was fair for the services we got. I especially appreciated the personalized suggestions that were shared with me. It was obvious that our stylist really cared about making our dog feel well taken care of.

Arranged and paid for a pickup order. I still have the confirmation # and all the info but it's just disappeared. I've been waiting on this order for over a week. Customer service wasn't even apologetic about their screw up. I'm on hold with the company to try and get prescription food my cat needs. I'm not asking for specialized toys- some food for my pet is what I'm fighting for and from a pet food store! How ridiculous could this get?
