This store is a pleasant trip anytime one needs to get groceries. They stock during the night, which is nice as you don’t get disrupted during your shopping trip. I came in to return some cough drops that I bought at another Safeway, no receipt or Safeway account. Danielle helped me out and exchanged them for another type of cough drop with no trouble.Minus a star because the gas station seems to have many pumps out frequently and also runs out of gas completely about once a month. This Safeway also is missing many goods and amenities others have. Coinstar is non functional as of today 12/13/23

My visit here today was great the store overall was very clean and tidy, I stopped in to just grab a couple items and the Hot Wok looked delicious and they had all the items ready to go so yes indeed that's what I had for lunch.Overall great store easy access in and out plus a lot of great stores around d the location A+++Thank you!

Normally, I love this Safeway location. It's always clean and well stocked. I also appreciate the fact that there is an adjacent gas station that always has some of the best prices around.However, I am a little annoyed today. Take it for what you will, as today is thanksgiving...I know most people really don't want to be at work on this day, whether they have something to do or not. I am also one of those people that had a job to go to today. So, I was aware that they closed at 6, and I didn't have a lot of time to make it in. All I needed to get was a few 12 packs of soda....which they stock right inside the front door. I arrived at 5:50. 10 minutes before closing. I was already prepared to let them know I would be in and out, like, literally. BUT, when I came to the door....10 minutes before closing.... I was met with a closed door with no motion sensor opening turned on. There was an employee standing inside the door, apparently only to let people out. This employee looked at me 2.or 3 times as I approached the door, and turned his back to me, pretending to be busy and doing something... Which he very clearly wasn't. The least he could've done would've been to acknowledge me. Say something. Anything, really. I would have been in and out before other people still shopping in the store, but I wasn't given a chance to ask a question or anything else.....WHILE THE STORE WAS STILL OPEN FOR 10 MORE MINUTES. More than plenty of time for me to get what I needed.I am a veteran of the service and customer service industries, I fully understand what it's like. Even if I was turned away, but the employee hadn't turned his back on me after making eye contact more than once, I probably wouldn't have really been all that upset or irritated. But that didn't happen.Maybe next time it's a holiday, tell people you close at 5:45 or something because that was not cool.

I love this store! It’s always clean, well stocked & everyone is really friendly. This review tho, is for kudos to the floral department & it’s long overdue! Last October, we needed flowers for a memorial service of a dear co-worker who passed away very unexpectedly. I didn’t have advanced notice so conventional flower shops were not an option. I circled around the extensive floral selection several times, completely indecisive on what to get. One of the florists came to my rescue and we put together a few flowers for arrangements that would match one of their pretty white orchid plants. The next morning, I picked up the most stunning arrangements I’ve ever seen! They even customized the orchid with a different vase & ribbon and then helped me to the car. So many people at the service commented on the beautiful arrangements. I hope the store manager reads this and gives props to their incredible floral team!

Happy that we will have a Safeway here and a gas station! Very needed. Conveniently located off of Bass Lake Road. A few stores already open. Will be nice to have a market to walk to.The store is smaller than some of the other area Safeway’s, but everything is very well stocked and very clean.Cute little cafe area, but it’s not open yet.

Excellent store. The Starbucks employees were super courteous, as was the cashier for self checkout. An enjoyable experience and we also paid for our holiday meal as well. Good store, good experience and I would recommend this location to anyone.

OMG! It's so hard to find fresh good salad. This is so fresh and satisfying, thank you! Love the area and is now my new favorite store. I love Safeway. The stores are always clean. The produce is fresh. The meat is great quality and prices are average. No matter where we travel, when we need groceries, we look for a Safeway first. I've been a loyal shopper since 1980.

Best Safeway around, much nicer than most for sure. Short lines, stocked well, always clean and fresh in this store. Also, a big plus is their fuel prices (they keep them lower than the two next closest Safeway's) customers know and appreciate this.

Days before Christmas I am happy to see they had a good number of staff to make sure lines didn't go into the isles. The staff is always smiling and friendly at check stands. Normally, the store is always well stocked as well, even during the past few years. In my opinion, it's better than any other Safeway around.

If your delivering make sure your getting paid for it due to the guy in receiving he doesn’t unload anything. Which is funny every safeway I have been to has offloaded without any issue. We OP don’t carry pallet Jacks we don’t touch freight as well. His one of those receivers that we have deal with 🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻

99% of the employees I have encountered here are awesome! However today at customer service of all people I had to adjust/ or return because of misleading price on the gummies that were in a shipper mixed with Mario Brother’s, Spider-Man, Avengers, etc.. says buy 4 or more costs is 1.99. I get 4 2 days ago at night. When I get home I noticed I didn’t get the sale. Kids were begging to open them up. I finally made it back and the lady at front made me feel like I did something wrong. No smile with a straight face. Very uncomfy. Mentioned the Mario Borther was not Part of the mix and match and that’s why I didn’t get the sale price. I pointed to the shipper that you can see from the service desk that showed plenty of MB boxes mixed in the shipper(display). She said well nothing I can do about it did you want to get a different one? I said no just return all. This could and should have been adjusted and given to me for the price that it states regardless of someone restocking error. It’s not about the price but pure principle. I should have reported to weights and measures so the store would get dinged 10k. They started removing all the boxes out of shipper thanks to me. I saved you from bad report you should have given for free. Whole Foods does! I really hate to blast people specially in my local area but hey someone has to let it be known. Many other parents getting robbed blind.

I love this new Safeway! The employees are always nice and greet you with a warm and welcoming smile! The store itself is always clean and nicely stocked and I can’t say it enough but I love how everything is set up in the store! It makes it so much easier to get in there find what I need and get out of there! They often times like all other Safeways have great deals, especially if your a club card member! Love this store!

First of all the employees are great. However, they need to manage their products better in all departments. During multiple visits my cashier has found partly opened milk containers, swiss cheese that was not vacuum sealed, and soft English cucumbers. My last visit I saw organic peaches that should never have been offered for sale. I bought prepared refrigerated pasta, cooked it last night for dinner. It was covered with mold spores. The expiration date is October 22, 2022.

I was harassed by the employees and bombarded with "we're closing in __ minutes", literally 10 times within 15 minutes. The manager Kari, immitated me on the mega phone and announced it again after I told her nicely I heard them the first 10 times. I think she is racist. She was glaring at me and had a weird smile after she made the announcement, also. On top of harassing me, they kept announcing that they were closing on the megaphone and did it about 5 times in 15 min. I get it is Christmas but they were just being rude, creepy, a nuisance, and almost ruined my holiday. I got out of there on time also. They were acting like little kids. It was ridiculous. Actually the younger employees were acting more mature than her. Do you have to bark at every single person that you are closing 5 minutes earlier than you actually are? I was in the vicinity when u told the person right next to me. CALM DOWN. U had also called earlier to ask what time they close. I said thank you. The person who answered, which sounded like Kari sounded annoyed and in an annoyed and rude way she didn't say goodbye or anything she just said, "mhm", and hung up. Quit your job if you hate it so much. Bye!

For the meat dept guy today Sat 4-15 at noon. I asked for flattened flank steak, when I mentioned Meat wheels and I didn’t buy his, he flung his arms at where I could find the flank steak and walked off. It’s not flattened. Disappointed in the service we received.

Absolutely a great Safeway store. I was not happy at first to get a shopping center and stop light on a country road I enjoyed commuting on for the last 20+ years. But the service has been absolutely amazing. Only two small issues. Both out of Safeways control. First is the parking spots are quite small unless you're car parks it's self. And the Serrano housing development patrons can be exhausting to deal with. Otherwise keep up the great work Safeway. Gas station is a nice touch as well..

Large, clean, and well stocked! I often come to this location from Folsom because it has a much larger selection of items compared to other grocery stores. For example, the pre-prepared food items taste great and offer a bunch of options when it’s late and you need to find something for dinner.Isles are large and everything is always clean. Parking lot is well lit and feels safe. It’s also never super busy, likely due to its somewhat secluded location. Have never had to deal with an employee with an attitude either.Items are well stocked and I’ve been able to find name brand items that seem to have disappeared from Bel Air and Raleys. Overall, a much better store than the nearby Raleys.
