Don't bother calling. Also lady said 40 min wait. Then 30 mins later I get a text message saying "we need insurance information " to call. I call and no answer .

I was really last week and could not find my favorite cold medicine anywhere. I made my way to the Rite Aid and El Centro, and was immediately greeted by the stuff and mentioned to me that they might have what I was looking for in stock. They personally walk me to the aisle and boom there it was! I was so happy to see that this team member when the extra mile to help me find what I needed an inclusive opened another register so I wouldn’t have to wait in line.This is what I call customer service!

I went to the drive through pharmacy to pick up a prescription for my daughter that we had received at urgent care about 20 mins before. She is 2 years old and was having an allergic reaction. Anyways, I gave them my information and was informed it would be an hour wait. I asked if there was anyway she could rush it and she said absolutely and theyd call me when it was ready. So I drove around for 40 minutes and decided to go back through the pharmacy. This time a new lady was there and she tells me 2 of the 3 prescriptions I need I have to get over the counter. I asked her why they didn't tell me that 40 mins ago?? She didn't offer any solution but instead advised me to come inside. So I get my 2 year old(who is covered in hives) and 8 month old out of the car and go inside to then grab the medicine that was right in front of their counter and wait another 30 mins for them to fill the prescription. AWFUL service. So inconsiderate to the situation and offered no sympathy or apologies for their lack of assistance. Will never go back.

The shopping/convenience area is always on point. Very clean, organized, appears to be well-managed... But, do not,... I repeat,... DO NOT call... Your eating your time. They will not answer the phone. When you go there, be prepared to wait up to an hour for your prescription. They'll say something a in to it being almost ready... STAY CALM... If you mention you tried calling ahead, they'll claim they were to busy to answer. Remember,... To,... Breathe!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. They take forever to fill a prescription and also they turn off their phones don't even bother trying to call them. Just switch to a different pharmacy.

It's always a good experience for me at every aspect. Check lines open if line gets long quickly n efficiently! My meds are prepped in time n the techs are great when i get my vaccines plus free ice cream for flu shot I look forward to every year!! I can't say enuf good things about my neighborhood store!!

Dexcom system for diabetes is known around the world (except at this Rite Aid). The Imperial Valley has a massive problem with diabetes yet this place doesn't have a clue what it is. There's a reason my family travels to San Diego for everything medical. The lack of knowledge at this pharmacy is mind blowing.

I really enjoy shopping at this store!Every time I visit, everything is neat and clean, the shelves are well-stocked, and the workers are helpful and friendly. The store has a wonderful variety of items you can't find in other stores and sometimes I like to go to browse with nothing I particularly need in mind, and I always end up finding good treasures and great deals to take home.

The pharmacy never answers their phone and if you’re put on hold you wait at least 30 minutes before somebody gets back to you. I received text messages that my medication is ready and when I go to pick it up it’s never ready and I’m told they will contact me within an hour which ends up being the following day. I’m definitely switching over to Desert Medical Pharmacy. I waited in the drive-thru line for 25 minutes only be to be told at the window they were only helping Covid related customers. At least put a note out front so people don’t wait in the drive-through for so long. The only good thing about Rite Aid anymore is the ice cream!

Rant on the rudest manager I’ve ever encountered at Rite Aid El Centro. I asked the manager if I could have the key to the bathroom because my granddaughter needed to use it and she said they were out of service but in the worst tone. I then asked if I could use the restrooms that they used because it was an emergency and she said no. A few moments later an elderly lady was telling her to watch her tone after asking her a question and the manager was talking to her like she was dumb. So while this elderly lady was telling her she was very rude and needs to watch her tone. I also came to the elderly lady and mentioned yes she’s very rude and the manager said “ you’re just mad because I didn’t let you use the restroom. And this man behind us also said yes she’s always very rude.. Rant over worst customer service I’ve ever encountered.

Im 84 yrs old and to me getting the extra help from the cashiers is gold. The cashier was very polite and took me to the men grooming area and showed me the item that I was looking for. Loved the service and attention to the customers of older age Thank God there is people that still care for their customers.

3 months had to use this rite aide worst service for pharmacy blood pressure meds never ready even though pre order meds a day or so before, still have 25-30 mins wait after time given ! Bathrooms are out of service past 3 months both men’s and ladies. Don’t even deserve one star! Chairs by pharmacy are disgustingly dirty !

Rite Aid's Pharmacy is horrible! I went to the urgent care last night and got antibiotics because I have a bad sinus infection and I arrived to Rite Aid at 9:15pm and the pharmacy closes at 10pm. Mind you they were the only the pharmacy that was still open who took my insurance too. Well they refused to fill my prescription and told me they would tomorrow morning. So I called this morning to ask about my prescription only to be told that they won't fill it until the afternoon because they were doing their annual inventory first. So I went and got my prescription back and took it elsewhere. It's totally uncalled for and they should have filled it for me. I'll never shop there again!

Pharmacy does not know how to answer a phone...how can you trust them with filling medications accurately? Update: on the main directory when it asks if you are calling from a dr s office press that button, otherwise you will never be helped

I used to go to rite aid all the time. Not anymore! Twice now I've reported a man who keeps showing up to ask for change. I like to help people, but when I gave him some he yelled at me for wearing a mask and tried to get me to remove it. He yelled at me another time when I hurried past him while he was drinking alcohol. He just keeps coming back. I don't go to a store to be harassed! Now I only go to rite aid to pick up my prescription and for nothing else. This has become a safety issue but they still haven't banned him. I'm a small woman and I'm scared he might try to attack me. It's ridiculous that they won't do anything about it.

prescription are never ready when I have gone. Many times they don't have the prescriptions and you have to get a partial refill while they place an order. Gossip from employees can be heard from the waiting area. Definitely will have to change pharmacies.

Was called yesterday at noon and told script was ready. Showed up today and was told it won't be ready until 3pm. Came back at 4pm and was told it could not be found and won't be ready until 7pm. Feel very frustrated since I don't live in town. Avoid at all costs. Is border line bigotry due to the fact that all workers are Hispanics and I am black. Every time I arrive all Hispanic customers seem to get meds on time while I and non Spanish speaking customers get the run around. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME OR MY HUSBAND. BEWARE AND AVOID.

Twice when I was here there were employees not wearing their masks properly (i.e., not covering their noses). First time, I reported it (I saw one employee). Second time, I saw three (the majority of the employees I saw). Do not go here if you are high risk.
