If anyone is considering going to this rescue, please take a pet with you. They are in such an unhealthy environment! Recently rescued a kitten from here and OMG it was heartbreaking. The room where the kittens are kept is disgusting! Dirty, smells horrible, there was no ventilation and Dee was a bit rude too. The kitten I took was “one of the healthy ones” (as she stated). Paid the $50 and it’s now tuned into $552 in vet fees and still adding up waiting for a tooth removal surgery. The kitten (approximately 6-7 months) had an upper respiratory infection, ear infection, severe gingivitis, periodontal disease, tooth decay AND root exposure. She got my other two cats sick too. I don’t regret rescuing the kitten, but those “healthy” ones are not truly healthy so please be aware if you decide to rescue a pet and have pets at home already.

Dee is very open hearted to all pets, takes more than she can handle. She accepts donations. It is very sad to see that this county is so irresponsible with pets. She picks up where a family fails. We took 2 homeless dogs, she groomed, neutered and gave them vaccines. She convinced us to keeping them. Best decision ever made. These pets became family. She also helped to locate our lost dog. It was one that she convinced us to keep. We need more individuals like her in this world.

They are super nice people, i highly recommend this place to spay/neuter your pet, they are very careful with your babies, you can also adopt a pet or just stop by and bring any kind of donations, dog/cat food, cat litter.... 💜 when we give love, we receive love 💕

Thank you so much for rescuing the kitten we found under the tire of a semi today. If I wasn’t traveling from AZ, I would have taken him. He was nothing but skin and bones and flea infested. I hope he does well. We will be sending donations. And if he needs an adopter, I’ll take him!

Our family is blessed to have across this beautiful family! They helped us with a furl cat in our neighborhood who gave birth to 4 kittens in our garage! Dee took the momma cat to get fixed and she took the kittens! she also took our 2 male dogs to get fixed at a low cost clinic. Thank you for all you do we will continue to support you all.

the lady was very rude over the phone and gave so much attitude and yelled at me when I was trying to ask if they had space for shelter. If they treat people like this I can imagine how bad they treat they’re animals. Definitely would not feel safe leaving dogs there.

We take our dogs to Dee's for their cuts every few months - great people here and you can tell they really care, wouldn't want to take them any place here - plus we adopted one of ours from Dee, and he's a complete sweetheart!

I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a boarding service. I alway leave my cat at Dee's. Not many options in the Imperial Valley anyways, so you can't get very picky.

They assist many many pets in the different communities in the Imperial Valley. There assist in T.N.R. program. That's trap neuter/ spade and release. Low cost vaccines and very nice volunteers.

Pepe loves going to play at Dees. She takes good care of my dog. As long as he's with Dee I never have anything to worry about. My dog is pooped for the rest of the day from playing so hard there.

When I went with my wife we were treated by a very friendly staff and could see that the animals were very well loved and they looked content. This Rescue is so important to have here in El Centro.

Dee cares a lot! She always takes in dogs and cats that end up on her doorstep. Dee can be seen all across the valley with her adoption fairs and is usually busy and stretched thin, but she never says no to helping an animal in need.

The lady there was very helpfull and straight to the point i would very much so recondmend to everyone but all they ask for is donations its very much so worth it so even if u dont have no buisness but have extra dog or cat food make a donation it goes a long way

I was notified after adoption that my puppy was hit by a car and was told not to take her to the vet. Other problems appeared shortly after, very unhappy of how my puppy was taken care of.
