Mexican themed grocery store. Variety of fruits, vegetables, sweet breads. Meat dept with butchers. Beef, pork, chicken, seafood. There's a small jewelry store located inside the store. There's also a full kitchen serving a variety of Mexican meats and dishes. Fresh corn tortillas made daily.

The store is awesome but the people that works at “cosina” are rude and inattentive to customers. No napkins, no smiles at all (they look so unhappy) no containers for salsa unless you ask. No soups and no tortas….. they didn’t have bread!!! Sucks!

Free for all in there the employees do what they want. asked 3 employees for a drink waited for 20 mins, then someone finally shows up and says im only serving cakes the lady that serves drinks isnt here. how hard is it to pour liquid into a cup? the manager if there even is one, needs to be put in check

Horrible service waited 30 minutes on line for some chicken got there and they like we are out you have to wait 44 minutes 🤣🤣🤣never again

I love coming to Cardenas. They only charge $0.50 for money orders. Only bad thing is sometimes there is a line at the office. But if you have a few extra minutes it's better than paying $5.00 at your bank!

The food from the deli is fine, and the prices aren't high even if they aren't low, but keep an eye out if you buy anything from the bakery section. I bought a box of pastries allegedly packed that same day, and the day after i found that all the ones in the middle (which you can't see due to the end pieces) had mold. If I weren't looking, I and my coworkers easily could have all been poisoned. Who knows how long ago they may have been packed!I was so pissed, and honestly embarrassed, I tossed it out immediately. Beware of buying allegedly "fresh" items and don't trust the packing dates!

Very nice clean store ... very nice employees that are always willing to help ... tasty hot food and good prices... if you are ever in the area stop by Cardenas and they will be happy to help you with all your needs...👍👍👍👍

The BEST corn tortillas ever!! I purchased 10 lbs of meat from the counter at a very reasonable cost. The employees making the food were friendly and nice.

You can find pretty much everything you need to do a Mexican dinner. They don't do tamales of pork in salsa verde. Their empanadas de calabaza are very good.

I am writing on behalf of my mother and the way she was treated today in the El Centro Store by the angry lady tortilla packer . My mom needed a couple of packs and the woman refused to give my mom the packs and instead was passing them out to other customers talking about my mom but not directly to her being very rude. My Mother then spoke to Jesus the store manager and his words to her were “and what do you want me to do fire her”? What kind of manager treats customers that way? I’m floored even if we thought the tortilla lady could use some brush up on her customer service skills well now we understand why she acts that way it’s comes down the pipe and if your management team is this unprofessional and lacking in customer service training how can we expect the store staff to be effective. We will take our business somewhere else hopefully they get it together.

Although I have never physically been to this store, I tried calling in to ask a very simple question. I called the first time and asked if i could speak to someone that spoke English, I was disconnected. I called a second time, and just asked the question in English, she didn't even say anything, just put me on hold, then I was disconnected. Now I am wondering if I should even waste my time and gas to drive an hour just to visit this store for a very popular item that many have recommended!! Poor Customer service and phone etiquette!!!

It’s a very good grocery store!! But the food court area Customer service needs some help. Waited in line until it was our turn to order… the person that was supposed to be taking orders our order saw us standing there. He told us to wait 2 times, then walked away to go on his break and left us standing there. About three employees walked by and said nothing. Until one young lady came and asked if we were help, She’s apologize and took our order after waiting for about 10 minutes.

Love this location. This store to me has got the best tasting marinade for their carne asada. Store is always well stocked. Wide variety of products. Food deli is always wonderfully. Clean ànd very neat. Friendly workers all around great service. Never had any issue shipping at this location

Good specials on vegetables, but they need to be used fast because they will go bad. Best corn tortillas. They need to put more attention to the sweet bread lots of flies.

The store is great. The restaurant, not so much. I ordered a Carne Asada Torta and it was 98% beans with a tiny piece of carne asada. It was very disappointing and I did not finish it after taking it apart to see if there was carne asada. There was not. Great store to shop in, but dont order the carne asada torta. You will end up with some bread with beans on it.

Best place to buy different kinds of melon waters and they are always freshly made. NEVER worry about buying day or days old because they always sell outI have even been there where they havesold out of cups.Plus the only place I buy my fruits and vegetables!!the checkout lines can be a little long.

The store is good. But too many people on certain times of hours and the cashier's aren't many. I've seen sometimes they'd put too many cashier's when it ain't necessary. (It's only an opinion.) But what I did like is that I wanted certain fresh herbs and your store got them for me. Chicken is awesome. Avocado dip "guacamole" price is little high.

If you want something That taste homemade authentic For breakfast lunch or dinner this is the spotThere's a variety something for everybody. True story i dropped an envelope of money inside the store .I did not realize I dropped it till I got home later in the evening... An employee picked it up gave it to the manager Who then returned it to me. Honest hardworking great customer service I highly recommend

I love this store especially if your making Mexican Food. They literally have everything you need you make anything Mexican. The place is very clean and the staff are efficient. This is where you get my reason for rating them so low. They don't have baggers. I actually complained to one of the supervisors. I said "After spending nearly $140 I have to bag my own groceries". Really!!!!

Sunday breakfast looked good but food was not...at least what we decided to have.tacos Al pastor..with rice and beans....tacos were not good at all..i would never order that plate again. I do love their bakery and produce is great. Store is very clean and staff is nice...just tacos al pastor need a new recipe. .i will continue to shop. Here. .just no tacos.
