A terrible place to shop but the prices you want.They have a history of broken or missing shopping carts good luck if you can get one that functions properly.whole sections of unpriced items, mishelved, and deceptive placement with a tag with a price and no product info so your not sure if the ticket price is the product price until check out.1/3 of the store is locked up and they have very few employees so you have to wait upwards of 5 minutes for a deodorant amd then they take it to check out for you so you wait in the only check out that's not self service then hope you remember that thing you picked out awhile ago because they don't know.A few employees make it pleasant but others are rude, dismissive or jus standing around on there phone.The two in pictures here are amazing and the girl should be running the store. She managed to help 17 people in my 5 minutes of waiting for my group to finish. She helped elderly check out, retrieved replacement products, did go back, helped the other workers when they didn't know what to do shebdidbit all and by herself.End result don't expect a great shopping experience, but they often have what you need and most items are reasonably priced. Shout out to those super helpful good employees. Seriously though management needs to rethink what they are doing as a store though.

Great shopping experience. The store is a Walmart-style of competing with Albertson, Ralphs, and Vons. And because it is Walmart, their prices are unbeatable. The Arabic section is unique and you may find things that are unavailable at the Arabic markets around. Use the bottoms in the pictures to cal customer service to open the glass for you. They are pretty fast

Went to this store that I shop at on a regular basis today to redeem a refund for a return item that was missing a part to this item. The customer service representative ( she described herself as the manager. I provided them with all the return information on my cell phone. They demanded for a bar code to the item which I didn't have. One of the associates who looks like a Spanish person brought a blank gift card and said this to the female manager: give him his damn $7.00 and let him go. That was so rude and uncalled for. I believe they misstook me for some homeless person looking to get some change from the store. This incident occurred today around 1:00pm. I wanted to talk to one associate in the store by name Linda, but the customer service people deprived her from talking to me.tem return item.

Worst Walmart ever they took the Walmart out of Parkway plaza in El cajon and this is the only Walmart that's closest to me. Everything is locked behind the glass case and you have to ask for an associate to open every single thing for you and you can't even have it you have to get it at the front.

I went to get my Ozempic prescription but was told my insurance wasn't contracted with their location and one female pharmacy worker who was asking me for my identification kept cutting me off while I was giving it to her and another female pharmacy worker gave me an attitude when I was trying ask her how I should explain to my doctor of how my insurance wasn't contracted with them

Love the variety of baking items this store has. I'm a treat maker and they almost always have what I need to dress my treats up. Love that there's lots of employees around when help is needed of them. I also appreciate that they have disinfectants right now. Thank you!❤️

We came to this Walmart yesterday. First off, there were no carts. I was told by a Walmart employee that there were too many shoppers and if I needed a cart I would have to find one in the parking lot. I searched the parking lot and was unable to locate one cart. They didn't have the plastic baskets to carry, either. I found an abandoned cart in the produce aisle that could be pulled along. The wheels were locked up so it was super tough to drag.The shelves were empty. I'm not sure if the purchasing manager was on vacation or if the whole virus thing made people panic. They were out of toilet paper, paper towels, rice, cereal. etc.As I walked through the store, staff were congregated in aisles chatting it up. There was only one person working at a register and the line was backed up into the aisle. I STRONGLY recommend finding another place to shop. This Walmart isn't cared for at all. Staff aren't friendly and the shelves aren't stocked.

Shopping here is like shopping in a prison store. Everything is locked up ( except all the beer). Laundry detergent locked up, deodorant locked up, pedialite locked up, baby formula locked up make up locked up, everything is locked but nobody has the keys. They watch you ring up everything like your a criminal and then after still make you show your receipt, yet when someone is caught stealing they just let them. Why are they punishing the paying customers and rewarding the thiefs, keep your thiefs I'm shopping everywhere else!

Too many self checkout stations and usually only one cashier checkout open. Lots of homeless asking for money outside. They have the whip man practicing in the parking lot with a 15 ft. whip, and machete man walking around menacingly near store entrance. Usually an employee or security guard following you around. Seems like their money would be better spent on keeping all 3 checkout stands manned. You know, customer service and all those old school values, instead of stalking paying customers. Not friendly.No small carrier baskets available. Also continuous barrage of petition requests harassing customers at door. The Walmart on Los Coches Rd. is more customer friendly.

You classic Walmart neighborhood market. There is a small deli section. The inside of the store is clean and organized. Plenty of free parking in front of the store. There is a good fresh produce selection. Dairy section has a variety of items. Organics and non organics available. You can get rotisserie chicken, hotdogs, nuggets, and donuts and other items.

This is my Neighborhood Market I went there to pick up some money that was sent to me from Arizona. There was a little bit of a line but it didn't take long and everything went smoothly. I was very happy with the outcome being as I was trying to get the same money picked up yesterday from Walmart Parkway Plaza and the guy refused to give it to me because Junior wasn't put at the end of my name. That was so lame.

Busy for shopping. Prices have increased now due to world issues. Salmon filets now over $10 per pound. Got 2 small size filets in 1 pavk at over $7 total. 3 small eye of round steaks were $7, so I can make 3 meals with vegetables. 5 pounds of tangerines at almost $7 bag.

Very bad experience shopping here. I'm within walking distance to this store so I bring my backpak and some shopping bags with me as they now charge for bags. I have never had a problem in the store before but tonight and employee told me I could not have my by back pack.., at the same time a woman carried a very large handbag. I shop here all the time. Never had a problem. The employees and manager at the this store embarrassed me and made me feel like I'm going to shoplift in front of everyone. I needed diapers for my son and some snacks. Totally out of line. Shame on yall

Went to buy milk there was nothing on the shelf and when I looked in the back it was all full of milk so I asked and was told that no milk can be passed out till tomorrow. Never in my mind would think this would happen or be told this.

There are no longer personal cashiers. It is entirely self service check out. Please be prepared for errors, people who aren't trained in groceries, and long lines.Price stickers are missing from a lot of food items and the employees are not there to help you. You cannot understand people speaking through masks, they will not make eye contact (this helps to ignore you,) the employees that you do see are busy with their own lives.They still have an interesting variety of groceries. It's just the customer service that is severely lacking.

Absolute worst grocery store I've been to. Upon arrival, there was no electrical scooters for the disabled. One of my many security guards claimed it was because homeless stole them all. They still should of gotten new ones and just put a location lock on it. All of the food clearly was getting old already. The strawberries looked like in a day, they wouldn't be edible anymore, possibly would start growing mold within 1-2 days. Old and dry. There weren't any plastic bags to put fresh vegetables or anything else in. The products were extremely limited, and definitely did NOT offer everything they said they offered in-store on their website. Lack of variety. The only options available were completely unhealthy and full of added sugar. Not good for people with a specific diet, and definitely a disappointment. The absolute worst part for me was the EXPENSIVE dressing i bought was OLD. Like it sat in the sun for too long, yet the expiration date was a few months away. I have bought the exact same dressing at other stores, same brand, same flavor, and had many positive-reviews about the dressings. But THIS STORE SPECIFICALLY, that same dressing tasted GROSS. It tasted like it sat out too long, and instead of an oil consistency, it was chunky?!? I gave it a benefit of the doubt, and still tasted it. There was CLEARLY a taste difference!! On the same usual dressing I always buy. They obviously do NOT store their food properly.. and it was something on a shelf!! Complete waste of my money!! It's going in the trash!! Lastly, all of the registers were self-scan only. When it comes to me buying vegetables, its easier for me to go to a real cashier to insert the vegetables for me. Because on their computer, its easier. With the self-check out, it literally took me 30 MINUTES to check out, due to my disability and the computer program not being user-friendly. If they are going to make us use the self-check out, at least trust us enough to make it easier for us to use!! This place is ridiculous!! WILL NEVER BE RETURNING*The only plus was they had good bathrooms, but they can't keep it clean due to people mistreating the restrooms. 1/5 for just being available to use, i guess. NOPE

I'm guessing the stockholders don't make enough money? 😂 Right! This store never has enough cashiers. You have to self checkout. If you have a cart full it's ridiculous! You put stuff in your cart, take it out at checkout, load it back in again, roll it out to the car and take it out again. Drive home and unload it again! WHAT?Oh, I forgot to mention its 97 degrees outside!! One more complaint...why are your shelves empty from items I find at Albertsons?Lastly, your employees are great, but your lack of "supply & demand" knowledge has been questionable for 3 yrs. now. Sorry Walmart! Get it together!

Awful! The store looked like it was looted. All isles haven't been zoned in what looked like days. Shelves completely empty of product. Barely enough employees on site to kinda do the jobs. No greeter at door and NO CARTS available. This manager should go, they really need someone who actually cares, and not managers that cut hours so badly that the store looks like that. If corp were to come in and see the state of that store the manager would probably have been terminated. Not the employees fault, they are doing their jobs the best they can. No one enforcing masks at all. All this on a Monday early evening.
