My experience with PetSmart Grooming left me extremely disappointed. I carefully communicated my preferences when dropping off my dog, emphasizing the importance of keeping the fur on her face full and not cutting it short. While I anticipated that the matting on her belly and shoulders would require trimming, the overall outcome was a complete disaster. Unfortunately, the groomer trimmed her face as short as the rest of her body, which was unnecessary. To make matters worse, they even shaved her tail, an area that did not require any trimming. This lack of attention to detail and disregard for my specific instructions has left me dissatisfied with the grooming service provided.

Consistently friendly, professional team member interactions. Store noted to be well stocked on first day of sales events.Pets are welcome to “shop” with their owners. Clean up stations are conveniently located at the end of every few aisles to make pet opps clean up efficient.Amanda is an incredible trainer. Professional, engaged, encouraging and offers a clear outline of what to expect once she meets with you & your pet.My fur baby and I look forward to our weekly sessions with Amanda to share behaviors we have mastered. We know we will get helpful hints to help us achieve those we are not attaining just yet. Training with Amanda is a delight!

I just wanted to let you all know that this place is extremely unsanitary. I have found cockroaches in the fish area many times before. Also, although the clothes are cute, they often have a very odd fit and look uncomfortable on my dogs. However, they do have good toys that my dogs love.

Love this place! Our trainer is amazing, Amanda by the way. The staff are friendly and overall is very well kept and clean for a pet store. Always have what we need in stock.

Everything was nice inside and it's really big BUT... When I asked an associate for some assistance, she glared at me and said " I'm with a customer right now" and walked away. Then she went on to do something else and completely ignored me.I took my business elsewhere.

Last Year brought my family with my baby puppy (Pug) for his first Christmas photo with Santa. I put in my email to send us the picture thru email 📧 and we were so excited we couldn't wait. And we waited and waited.. took them longer to send us the picture I know there was a ton of people for the photo with Santa but I mean it shouldn't taken that long for them to just send them by email...this was again Last year 2022.. and now to this day we are in 2023 almost ending the year and still haven't recieve my baby boy's first picture with Santa 😢 💔

The worst part about the store are the other customers. Other than that, everything is Great. they always have stuff and stock. The store is nice and clean. That cashiers are super friendly and the price matching is pretty cool too.

We are taking puppy training with Amanda in El Cajon. Wonderful trainer. The associates at Petsmart are friendly and love animals. Reasonable prices!

As PetsSmarts go this one has all the standard PetSmart stuff. For starters PetSmart is always going to be a nicer experience than Petco although the staff at this location was especially helpful to the people I was with. We were able to bring things to the register as we found them so that we weren't carrying them around the store. We bought things from the Fish and Dog departments. Both were well stocked. My friends spent more money than they should but they are idiots. One just lost her job and no clue what she was going to do for income. Her smart decision was "let's buy $50 in high end dog food and a new set of gravity feeder bowls and a dog bed on credit" Now she is going to food pantries for food for herself because she ran out of money and learned unemployment takes a few weeks. She asked me for the money and I was like eat that high end dog food that I told you was a stupid thing to be doing. She told me that I was negative then and got mad that I implied she didn't know how to plan her finances.Now I'm also a jerk because I won't lend her money now that she spent it all (she also has a gambling problem). She's not going to learn anything if someone bails her out though. Plus she told me to not get mad at her borrowing more money from me because I need to think about how she feels and that's somehow supposed to move me to help that she feels bad . I told her if you aren't going to change your behavior, it's useless having the bad feelings.Their high end hamster stuff is cute as hell and they even sell the adorable hairless guinea pigs.They have a place outside with fake grass to let your dog poop. Although the dog with me just went in the store and I walked away pretending some other dog did it. Wasn't my dog so I'm not dealing with it.

I brought in my dog for a nail grind on January 1 and the lady who did it was so patient and did an amazing job. I felt awful because my dog Olivia is a total drama queen.

We left our dog HANY under this hotels care for 7 days. Paid our dues and to our dismay her left eye is shut closed! We handed our dog with no issues at all and was returned to us with this problem.

I left specific written feeding instructions. Not followed. She was given a whole can of the wet dog food which was very rich instead of a few bites on top of her dry food. Looks like she had diarrhea and had feces stuck on her bottom and tail. Her bed was soiled from what looks like vomit. Her food bowl was not washed and returned crusty so it was probably not washed during her stay. Unfortunately not impressed by this Pet Hotel experience and cannot recommend this location. Staff was friendly. Perhaps understaffed.

Waited over 15 minutes for a groomer to help me pick up my dog. No report card today and in the car ride home, my dog's ears were bleeding. The groomer cut both of my dog's ears. He's traumatized. Definitely will not come back to this Petsmart grooming.

So many sales and clearance right now!!!The animals all looked healthy, except one upside down fish. My five year old loves to come see all of the animals here. The store always is always clean and well organized when I shop there. And the employees are always so kind.

My wife and I adopted two cats from East County Animal Rescue which Persmart allows them a spot here. And they also have a great coupon book they gave us. So we got some good deals on it.

I love the variety of cat litter they carry. I just wish they would carry cheaper dog litter. I don't know why the dog litter is twice the price of cat litter when it does the same . Just another way to price goug the customers.

Great location well stocked store. No real customer service for the most part. A young girl who wears black glasses short curly hair with a Service Dog Shepard Mix she has with her everyday is extremely rude! You try to have small conversation she's quick to almost insult you with a backhanded remark!?! Everytime I've been in she's there for the most part. It never fails she's not having a bad day she just continues to leave her manners at home.A helpful tip if you have ZERO customer service skills and you ARE NOT friendly keep away from dealing with people. You are not a people person. Yes your job requires skills you lack. I think she'd be perfect for a wearhouse position but then again shed damage people's products . Yikes

Petsmart is a great store!!! Only issue is with there adoption events are not regulated by managers or corporate office. Had issuea with there adoption events ( woofs & wags 501 kathleen orozco rescue) that does not pay for there vetcare bills for injured dogs and charges hefty fees to adopters ( customers) this is a serious issue that needs to be looked at

Nice store layout, everything is super easy to find. Everyone is very kind too!Love coming here and grabbing my pet supplies, the only downside that bums me out is the beta fish need water changes more regularly.

This is a really good Petsmart. Large store, clean, spacious, with a decent selection of items. Plus you can adopt small animals and buy fish. (Sorry no fish adoptions ;))They also have dog training, doggy day camp, pet boarding, and pet grooming, and vet services if I’m not mistaken. Truly a one-stop shop!

Thank you to Blake and Irene for taking such good care of my 15yr old German Husky. He doesn't like anyone touching his paws and you both did such a great job comforting him while giving him a pawdicure!! We will be back!!! You guys are amazing! Please keep up the amazing work!!

So I usually don’t have any problems with this location, but today they were unprofessional. I called to set an appointment for my dog to get groomed and the lady told me to go online to set an appointment and when I explained to her that I couldn’t and why she said, “Give me second” and put me on hold. Next thing I know a guy picks up the phone and says “Ma’am, grooming is closed..they close at 7pm. Really now…maybe she shouldn’t have answered the phone or could have cam back to the phone and said ma’am would you be so kind as to call back tomorrow, I’m swamped or something. And I called another location and they said that Petsmart’s grooming area doesn’t close til 9:00pm. Just wow. So now we are lying to customers.

I am an Employee who works here As a familiar face. I am regularly engaged in assisting customers with their inquiries, cashiering, guiding them to the right products, and providing information about our hotel, grooming, and Banfield services. Additionally, I have been actively promoting the array of new treats variants we recently introduced for both cats and dogs, contributing to the increased sales in our store. Despite my dedication to my work, I am consistently confronted with negative encounters from customers who seem to take issue with my Clearly Labled service dog's presence.These incidents often begin with customers labeling me as rude when I decline to share personal information, such as my k9s name or the specific reason for having a service dog. Subsequently, I am subjected to harassment, as the said customers attempt to provoke me by violating boundaries related to my working K9,such as The humans barking, whistling, making unreasonable comments. It has been distressing to deal with such situations regularly, as it disrupts my workflow and creates a hostile work environment.I want to emphasize that my service dog is not here for casual interaction, but rather to perform essential tasks that aid me in my duties as an employee. I believe it is essential for our valued customers to be educated about service animals handlers, understanding that these animals play a vital role in the lives of people with disabilities. My request is simple - I ask that all customers respect service animals and their handlers, recognizing that these animals are not there for socialization, or your Entertainment, but are diligently performing their job.

It's a great store if you have a cat/dog but if you have small exotic animals the selections aren't really much of an option. Which kinda sucks. Wish these big brand pet stores carried more items for rabbits , birds and other small animals like that. But the store was clean and easy to manuever!
