I absolutely love this place. They buy a bunch of wholesale stuff from Costco, and sell it at a discounted price. Michelle and Martin are always super nice when I go there. Highly recommend people check it out. Well worth the drive from chico.

I wish I could give this place 100 stars. The family that runs this business are the best people ever! I rented a trailer and Martin was extremely kind to do everything he could to make sure I received the right size trailer for my move and at a great price! When we were in Chico and our truck's fuse for the lights went out he graciously gave my Dad an entire new set. Needful Things Rules! You guys are the best. Plus they support Ukraine! I just cannot say enough good things about this business and as someone who grew up in Durham it is great to have them as part of the community and I only hope they continue to stay for many years in the future!

All was well until we made a purchase of a mattress topper. Got it home opened it there was a huge gross stain in the center of it!Packaged it up returned it. We could only have store credit as stated on receipt. BUT I felt that shouldn’t apply as we didn’t just change our mind. There was no way we or anyone would use that and it should be thrown out. Hopefully not sold again. I haven’t been back in since then. I’ll have to make myself go in and use the credit. Under these circumstances we should have gotten our money back

Love all the stuff there - tons of almost everything. The prices aren’t bad, but not always great, at times only a few dollars off of what they would have be at Costco. For the extra few bucks, it’s worth it to be able to have the option to return to Costco for replacement or refund - on the larger items anyway.Fun store, either way. If you see something you want, be prepared to make a decision relatively soon, as i waited on a gun safe that wasn’t there when i went back.

Our microwave totally died & was unrepairable. The only place we have here that carries microwaves was Walmart & being disabled on a fixed income I didn't have that much money to spend. Then I thought of Needful Things. I called ahead & they said yes they have microwaves new & used. We went there & got a good size one for $20.00. it works great. I may have to go back soon & see if they have a crockpot as mine is older than Moses!

Great place to shop. However, friendliness of staff could use a lot of work. When a customer comes in, they could at least smile and say hello, and say if you need help please let us know, instead of just staring at you as you walk by. Also, when you purchase something, they could at least say thank you. One more thing, don't ruin my attempt at a pleasant shopping experience by arguing with each other, very unprofessional.

The collection of stuff is a-mazing. Walk through the place and you think you're in a maze. Most of the goods are returned items from Costco - look closely so that the item isn't damaged. Store credit on any returns. Most items are 1/2 store cost. Check ✔️ the label for reason of return. Often only wrong color or spouse didn't like it. Other "treasures" abound through out the store. Say HI to the kitty 🐈 that hangs out. Don't step on it!

Full disclosure if i didnt need a uhaul I would have never known about this jem of a business. From the second i walked into the store I could feel the good vibes they are giving out. The 2 girls working the register were so friendly and helpful with my puppy and the gentleman who helped me with my uhaul was approachable and had a kind Demeanor I thought to myself - of course you find a cool store with great people the day before you move. Thank you to the folks at needful things for making something that could have been extremely difficult feel like a breeze.

Loved the people and the variety of items. Didn't get to meet Alex the cat which was the main incentive for going😸 We will definitely be making return trips, yes to see Alex, hopefully, but to buy from the varied selections🌷

The first when step in the store was 😲 wow like a kid in a candy store. There is something for someone for sure at this store. The owners are super nice and there cats are adorable and fluffy. I'll be going back

They had a great variety and good prices. You never know what they will have, but on this visit they had the air fryer and crock pot that I was looking for at a great price. I also found a shower organizer that works great in my daughter's shower.

Fun place to find unexpected overstock gems. We got an awesome toaster oven for $25. Service is super nice. Space is pretty tight so social distancing wasn't easy.

Best locally owned business around! Our go to for all things odd, big and small. We have bought everything here from fire pits and sectional sofa to dishes, pillows, and towels, to garage lighting, and carpets. They are great people.

A fabulous, family-owned business! Formerly Paradise residents who had to relocate due to the Camp Fire, they've created a unique business that sells online returns from Costco and Home Depot at really low prices. I went in right before the shelter in place order and found ceiling fans, a dishwasher, furniture, and bedding. I called to see if they were still open because we are doing some home repairs while we're shut in, and THEY ARE OPEN! They fall into the same category as Home Depot since they sell essential items. They told me that I can call back and ask for specific things they might have in stock, pay on the phone, and they'll walk it out to my car so I don't have to worry about bringing my kids inside. I already liked them, but this put it over the top and I just really wanted the rest of the world to go to their business and support them. They're just amazing people and frankly, nobody can beat their prices.
