Incredibly friendly and enjoyable staff, great location, and really stellar service from all staff members from check in to room cleaning.Rooms: The booking system unfortunately overbooked the hotel, leaving us to stay in a queen instead of a king room, but it did not ruin our trip, just put a small damper on it.

Clean and QUIET hotel.Dog friendly.Beds are comfortable; we prefer firm, but soft beds.The water pressure was amazing in shower.Mini fridge, microwave, and decent sized TV in rooms.The hotel runs a 24 hour diner, which is the best when you're too tired to find food after a long drive. Dinner was decent, but breakfast was delicious. The diner gets pretty busy, so make sure to order ahead. The staff are very nice. Definitely small town feel because people running the place are very welcoming. Very impressive business being run because the waitress for the diner is also the front desk for the hotel. Please be nice to them because they're doing a million things at once! Accidentally left something in the room and the staff kept it for us to pick up on the way back home. We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you again to the amazing staff!

Booked through the hotels website on Friday morning, my reservation was for Saturday(the next day)Saturday morning my account gets charged, I show up to the hotel around 6pm and was told they were overbooked and only the manager could give me a refund and that I’d have to call her Monday. Many of the other hotels in the area had no vacancy, thankfully cold creek in was able to squeeze us in. 2 weeks prior to this stay I made a reservation for 2 rooms and was told there was only one room under the reservation. I showed my email confirmation and was told it didn’t matter, their system only showed 1 room so it was only one room. Will never try and stay here again

I booked this motel for a business trip and was very pleased. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was plenty of parking for my truck and trailer. The bed was very comfortable and was very very clean and pristine. The views were gorgeous and the diner was icing on the cake. I will definently choose this motel on my next trip through the area.

The rooms are clean and the atmosphere is quiet. There is a diner sharing the parking lot so it can be difficult to find a place to park at night. You'll need to go into the diner to check in which is standard for Travelodges that host diners. The hotel staff are always super friendly, as for the diners staff it's a hit and miss. Typically if your a decent human being the female staff are nice to you unfortunately you get nothing but disrespect and content from the two male staff members. I stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks, and it got to the point I'd go clear up to the town of Weed for food. When one of the guys were working. (As the Subway inside the Pilot is the only other restaurant in the area that's open 24/7)

Very convenient location. Just right next to the highway exit, yet super quiet rooms thanks to thick walls and doors. We had a problem with free breakfast (the owner said their winter discount rate doesn't include free breakfast, but the booking site somehow displayed it as free amenity.) but he eventually decided to take responsibility. Speaking of which, their food was excellent. We tried four different menus, in the morning and evening, all of them were awesome.

When we arrived at the Travel Lodge we were greeted by Danielle. She was very friendly and a joy to talk with. She checked us in and asked if we would be needing something to eat. We did, but wanted to get settled in our room which was very nice. We headed back to the diner and Danielle had a table ready for us. She had great suggestions for dinner and was doing the cooking as well. The food was great and the way she does the French fries is to die for. We highly recommend the Travel Lodge and Penny's Diner. We will definately be back.

The Room was fine. I did not enjoy the dining experience the dining Room was freezing and apparently there was nothing that could be done about it except us to try and get jackets eventually had to decide to take the food to go back to the Room. As well theres no elevator so we had to carry our luggage upstairs.Their rewards program seems to be some kind of scam I spent 3 nights at 2 different hotels and ever never received any points I do not like Deception

Room was just about fine but oh boy was the check in the worst experience ever. They send you in the diner right next to the hotel and you get the GRUMPIEST, unpleasant service. No manners just a bunch of demands by this extremely unpleasant lady while she's cooking fires and coughing all over the place. Not only would we never recommend eating there but i think Travellodge could work on a better check-in service. It's unacceptable to receive this rude service at check in. We couldn't wait to lock ourselves in the room and not see that grumpy lady (or man in the morning) ever again.

Interesting hotel model. There is a 24hr vintage style diner car on site. The hotel is no frills (check in is at the diner!), no front desk. Rooms were new and clean and quiet. Everyone actually really liked staying here. Simple but nice.

Different and quirky. I have never stayed at a place where you check in at a diner. Penny's Diner is right there, that's where you check in. Room was clean and even though we were by the highway you could not hear it. Would definitely stay there again. Penny's Diner has good food, Barbara cooks a mean hamburger..

We Own and manage Motels in Coalinga,ca and must say how important customer service is. The rooms are clean and service was great and a very fine location. It was an 8 minute walk to the waterfalls. Nice nature walk I even found a rock that could be shaved out to what might be an Indian arrowhead. That was exciting as well being able to share this experience with my lovely wife is awesome. We are once again on vacation for a month and this is the start of our trip. Tomorrow Oregon can wait stopping in Grants pass.

Great place to stay and have breakfast at! We booked it online a couple hours before arrival and it turned out to be even cheaper than the online estimate! Really nice and clean rooms, good shower tubs and comfortable beds. Penny's diner that's part of the hotel had great breakfast food, and it's open 24-hours. Highly recommend!

Low staffing , travelers may be willing to help voluntarily in exchange for housing. Although i understand there should be reservations made ahead of time seeing how the same 3 women have to go back and forth between Penys Diner (delicious by the way, recommend the breakfast burger) and the hotel. Just don't assume when a customer is ordering food that they are demanding it on the spot. That drives the business elsewhere, and this place has so much potential. I respect the hard work and applaud sticking through the wildfire situation. Thank you ladies.

The place was really quiet and in a very scenic part of Northern California. But it had a Penny's diner attached to it which we thought would be nice to eat at and were quite disappointed. There was 1 young person working the restaurant and doing check ins and everything else. Seemed like she was overwhelmed and it took a while to get our order. The worst part was all my wife wanted was a piece of cherry pie and she got the smallest piece EVER!!! For $4! And she also didn't know how to ring up orders and I'm pretty sure we were overcharged. The next morning the grill was down and no one could go there for breakfast.

Nice place, service was fine. Good light blocking curtains. Bit strange to register at the diner next to the building. Could have used an extra blanket but had a fridge and coffee so all in all a good place to sleep for the night.

Very clean but also very pricey. Only aminities we're laundry and workout room...both of which could use a bit of updating. Penney's Diner next door was the only place at that exit, the food was good and reasonably priced.

Basic room that was very tiny and smelled like smoke. The check-in process was probably the worst I have ever had. Took WAY too long because I had to wait for an order to be taken and made due to the fact that the hotel check-in was at the local diner on the premises. I would not recommend this place at all.
