Great place to get out of the heat. Beautiful area, close to Bodega Bay

We are so happy we became members here! It is an initial fee to join then yearly dues after that. However we are guaranteed a spot with little notice. Unlike all the other local places we used to go growing up that are now overbooked for months in advance. Great campsites with full and partial hookups. Nice private spaces. The staff and members have all been exceptionally friendly and pleasant. Also, no issues with undesirable groups making noise too late. The access to the Russian river is great and one of the nicest spots on the river that leads out to the coast. Great kayaking and fishing spot!

The only unfortunate thing about Duncan's Mills Camping Club is that it is a members only camping club. It is one of our sister camps, so we get to go there from time to time. Our experience though was phenomenal and the staff were wonderful and very accommodating. It's a great place to be able to visit. The small town of Duncan's Mills is also a gem. The Blue Heron restaurant is fantastic! Again, the staff is remarkable! From the country store to the quaint shops, this place is delightful! Cape Fear restaurant is also worth the visit. I can't wait to come back! Everyone makes you feel like you are family!

Our son and daughter-in-law have a membership here, so we spend some time here occasionally with them. A very nice place with helpful staff, and the people that visit are also nice. The town is adorable and the ocean beach area , while rugged, is also an outstanding experience. The river is a great bonus to this facility as it is a relaxing and fun amenity. Whether bird watching or paddling a watercraft, the river experience is very special.

I love this place! This is our home away from home. Sites are generous and fairly private. There is river access with a private beach. Host is happy, helpful and friendly. Gold Coast Bakery, Duncans Mills General Store, Blue Heron Restaurant, Cape Fear Restaurant and more are a short walk away. Very relaxing!

I came out to the DMCC (Duncan's Mills Camping Club) to stay for 2 nights and "take their tour" to see what this place was all about. Tina was our tour guide and there was absolutely ZERO pressure from her to join the club. Honestly, Tina doesn't need to hype this place up and sell it because this camping club is so immaculate that it sells itself.Tina was very professional and showed us the entire place inside and out. She was so kind that she spent over 90 minutes with us answering all of our questions. My husband and I knew that we were joining membership before we checked out. Here's the deal......NO LONG TERM RESIDENTSHow many times have to gone to a campground and have taken note of the long term residents? This will NEVER happen at the DMCC because long term camping is not allowed! The rule is 2 - 14 nights in - 7 Out - 2 - 14 nights in - 7 out. It's nice to be able to go to a place without long term residents. Less trashy in my opinion.YOU ARE NOT IN A SARDINE CANSeriously you guys. How many times have you been to a campground and felt like your in a sardine can or a trailer park? I know you've felt that way. Who wants to stare out the window and into your neighbors window? These sites at the DMCC are spread out with plenty of space in between sites. Lots of trees and foliage in between each site for ultimate privacy and shade. Not to mention every single site is perfectly leveled to a T .SAFE & SECURESuper safe and secure. This place is gated and is safer than my own neighborhood. You can't even drive around for a look. That might upset some people who are curious about the club. I've been reading some of the Yelp reviews and there have been some cranky people who were denied to see the park. You want to see what they have to offer, then book your tour. Dont wander in off the street. They respect the privacy of the members and just dont let anyone in for security reasons. This place is super quite and serene. All we could hear were birds singing. I didnt even hear voices from others speaking. You wont find your ghetto east bay weekend partiers here. It's just not allowed! You see the same members over time. Theft is not an issue. No one will touch your stuff !There is no Riff RaffTHE STAFFNot only was our family greeted with warm welcomes and smiles. We were always provided the warm hospitality from everyone. The staff is very humble and helpful. They are flexible to meet our needs to ensure accommodations. If there is something we need, like a branch cut. They will take care of it asap. If we dont have enough shade in our site, we can happily move. NO QUESTIONS ASKED. The staff is here for us in every way shape and form.FREE KAYAK & CANOE RENTALSYup.....FREE all day with your own private beach included in your membership.THE EVENTSThe DMCC has an events calendar and some pretty awesome potlucks.THE BATHROOMSThe nicest bathroom I've ever seen in a campground. They are so clean and freshly remodeled. My husband returned from a shower and said he has no reason to shower in the trailer anymore. LOLSHOWERS ARE FREEI never smelt one cigarette over the weekend which made me a happy camper. This place may not be for everyone. The membership to us makes sense. It's a commitment and you have to utilize it. This is a very safe environment for our son to grow up in. We are looking forward to making wonderful memories at the DMCC.

Private Membership camping club. This place is amazing. Located on the Russian river. Full power on every site, so no generators running, some with full hook ups, kids club house and play area, adult only club house, spa, full restrooms located in 3 separate locations, every site is separated by native plants, so lots of privacy, lots more. I have been to a lot of campgrounds and nothing compares to this place. We have other family members who have joined too. Non members can try a weekend for a minimal charge. Look them up on their Facebook page.

We joined in 2006 and have enjoyed the place every year..Friendly people, best campsites---"EVER"..With other campgrounds crowding you in close to one another, it is not like that here..They have a clubhouse to enjoy with TV, Pool table, puzzles et. Next door there is another clubhouse for kids and a workout area too..Free canoes and kayaks too..They bring in bands also for everyone..The people who oversee the place are very nice and helpful..The supreme commander "Brian" (haha) is one hell of a nice person too...

There is no place better for Russian River Camping then Duncan's Mills Camping Club.Memorial Day was my second visit to this RV camping resort. The campground is right on the Russian River and just across the street from the town of Duncan's Mills. The resort hosted a BBQ with live music from the Fargo Brothers on Saturday. On Sunday the Blue Heron Restaurant and Bar had the same band and BBQ'ed Oysters that were absolutely delicious. The Redwoods, the Russian River, and the Pacific Ocean just a few miles away make this a very special place. Duncan's Mills Camping Club is unlike any RV Resort I have ever stayed at...truly magical!
